My husband and I enjoyed a very peaceful retreat in Asheville at Jessica (and family's) artsy mountain home with adorable Zinnia and Nelly! We loved exploring the Bent Creek Preserve trails (within walking distance from the house), and once Zinnia got to know us, she was happy to join! Sweet Zinnia was shy and timid at first, but with some treats and calm coaxing she came out of her shell by the first night and was cuddling in bed with us. It was so cute to see her fun personality emerge during our stay. Nelly warmed up pretty quickly, purring as he showed off his favorite spots to snooze inside and out on the porch. We were sad to leave them and the fresh mountain air! Would definitely consider sitting again in the future!
It was a real treat to stay at Fiona's with Minda, Koa, the sheep, chickens and ducks. Minda and Koa are very sweet cats, and we really enjoyed saying hi to the friendly and playful sheep! The area surrounding the property is peaceful and stunning with so many places to visit nearby. We were especially cosy in the newly renovated cottage. Fiona was a wonderful host, she gave us everything we needed and was a pleasure to organise and coordinate with. We wouldn't hesitate to come back and help again in future!
Our stay at Jo's house is synonymous with tranquility and good vibes. We have enjoyed the house with its wonderful views, its natural environment and the friendly pets. Sooty loves to bathe, so we would go to the river every day, enjoying the sun and the birdsong. The contact was also fluid with Oli, Rumi and Hilda, although each one has a different character. If you like to cook, Jo's kitchen is very well equipped! Les Pilles is a quiet town with a very interesting cultural offer. It's easy to meet people. Due to certain circumstances, Jo returned home earlier and we spent a few days with her. They were days of conviviality and enriching exchanges in many areas. Thank you Jo for your kindness and sympathy!
We stayed at Ana & Chloé‘s place for nearly 3 weeks over Christmas taking care of their sweet cat Kipling. Kipling was shy at first, but during the stay he became our best friend. He is very cuddly and enjoys being outdoors as much as indoors. Ana and Chloé are truly amazing people and we felt very lucky to petsit for them. Their cozy house is very centrally located and has everything you need. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home, it was a great experience and a pleasure to meet you and Kipling! Merci, obrigado :)
Chantelle was very kind. Easy going and welcoming. I enjoyed my stay very much with the ‘boys’. They each have their unique personality. You will never feel alone. The apt complex has great amenities. Including parking. I’d definitely do it again. Thank you Chantelle
I had the international adventure I had been searching for in Bonaire while doing something interesting and important! The caring and responsible homeowners provided a tidy, comfortable and private living space, sweet animals to care for and prompt response to any issues I faced. I feel very fortunate to have been selected by this couple to take on the responsibility of care and training reinforcement for their service dog, the cats and the gardens. I would highly recommend them for any future applicants! I cherish my experience there!
