My family thoroughly enjoyed house and pet sitting for Tom and his family recently in London. Their home is perfectly situated so that you're able to get to London fairly quickly, yet enjoy the peace and quiet from a rural location and out of the hustle and bustle. Both dogs are high energy and needed lots of exercise, which we figured into our daily schedule. Luckily there are plenty of parks to choose from. I would love to go back if ever I am in London again. I was sad to leave these sweet babies! Thanks for a wonderful experience, Tom! Hugs to all of you, Jen
I loved staying with Oliver at Melanie's place. It felt like a little sanctuary up above the city on the 6th floor, and Oliver was so affectionate and comforting to be around. It's a great location, with lots to do nearby, but I honestly felt like staying in because it was so nice! Oliver is easy to care for, and a curious, social, and very friendly cat. Melanie was really easy to communicate with and had thorough, detailed instructions in her Welcome Guide.
This is a 5 star sit, lovely house and a great dog, Otis. Communication with Clare was straight forward and easy. She gave clear and concise instructions for their home and for Otis. Clare also introduced us to her dog walking friend down the street, who was lovely and showed us a great dog walking trail over the Cleveland Dam and up the mountain into British Columbia's beautiful forest where the dog can run off leash. We would definitely do it again if our stars come into alignment once more!
Communication with Thetis and Niovi was perfect since the beginning, they were always very welcoming to me, we even met a couple quick times before the sitting. Their place is so lovely and Astarte and Rebel are such a sweethearts, they are very laid back cats, we spent a lot of days relaxing, Rebel loves hugs and watching cartoons (it's such a fun thing to see) and Astarte enjoys having their beautiful multi-colored hair brushed. Both are such a characters, and the best part of my days were the mornings, waking up to cuddles and kisses from them 💙 Really enjoyed my sitting, how everything was so smooth and made me feel at home during the christmas holidays. Going to miss Astarte and Rebel but hopefully I get the chance to take care of them in a future. Best wishes!
This was our first official sit and we loved everything about it. Paula and Jim made us feel so welcome . We had a good communication during the whole sit. Paula made us a delicious dinner the first evening and they explained everything about their pets, and we could see they really loved them. We so enjoyed taking care of them. They chickens were funny and good companion. They each had there own personality. Molly excepted us very quickly, loved to cuddle as did we... It was so nice to be around them all, just sit in the garden and enjoy them. We got some good advice for things to see nearby. We recommend this sit, we so much liked the pets. Paula and Jim are super nice with a good sense of humor. We wouldn't mind at all to do this sit again!
A wonderful hostess in a great apartment in the Navy Yards neighborhood of D.C.! Laura made every effort to ensure that I felt welcome and comfortable in her home--and it worked! As soon as I walked in, her affectionate dog Bilbi was receptive to the treats Laura had left out on the counter. We were watching TV and snuggling on the couch in no time! Bilbi is a social creature, and if she sees a dog that peaks her interest during her walks, she'll stop, sit, and wait until that dog is close enough so that she can say hello. I especially loved taking her to Compass Coffee where the treat they gave Bilbi put her at ease. Laura's cat Amira is hilarious! She would literally dart over to her automatic feeder the second it turned on. She's independent, affectionate with both Bilbi and the ice machine on the fridge, and she loves to cozy up on her cushion by the TV. I enjoyed the rooftop area and pool, her walk-in shower with super hot water, and the 13th floor views. By far the best sit I've experienced!
