I've had a brilliant time looking after Moggy and Merlin, who are wonderful companions indeed! Moggy is a sweet soul, cuddly, gentle, enjoys a good sleep and a short game, and knows her place is well behind Merlin 😉 Merlin is a wee bit more reserved, first checks out (with his beautiful big eyes ) what and who is going on , but when you suddenly feel a strong male's back at your back at night, you know he's all yours 😍 After a very short while both of them were very affectionate and absolutely gorgeous, chatty and relaxed and loved chilling in the beautiful conservatory (as I did as well) watching birds and neighbours 😉 Sybille is a lovely and warm person and made sure I had and knew absolutely everything I needed. Communication with her was easy and smooth and very friendly and quick. Her apartment is bright and beautifully furnished and situated in a nice, leafy and very quiet neighborhood. There's a nice little park and woods within walking distance and a supermarket and a pizzeria just down the road, almost next door. You don't really need a car as there's a bus stop at the end of the street taking you into Travemünde and beyond. Travemünde has marvellous beaches and from there you can walk alongside cliffs to Niendorf or take a ferry across the Trave enjoying a day at the almost Caribbean-like Priwall beach. I would highly recommend this sit and look very much forward to look after those two cuties again 🤩😍
Merlin was a joy to look after, he has been really well trained as even my 5 year old managed to walk him with no problems and get him to come back when called. We were made to feel very welcome by the whole family and communication was great throughout the sit. Liv left a really helpful list of everything we needed to know, including places to visit and options for transport if you didn't have a car. Overall a great house sit and lovely family
I had a great week in Noe Valley with sweet Jack! He's truly the best, and I really enjoyed spending time with him. This sit is the trifecta: great dog, great apartment and location, and great dog owner. Kara gave me super clear instructions, including really helpful recommendations for spots I could go in the neighborhood with Jack, and was very easy to get in touch with throughout (and was very patient and kind in providing any help!). If you have the chance and are into snuggling up with a ridiculously cute doggo, I would definitely recommend dog-sitting for Kara!
We had a fabulous stay in the Spanish countryside looking after two extremely sweet rescues. Our gentle, patient approach with Annis paid off over our week as she rewarded us with kisses to the back of our legs and hands when we weren’t looking. Mario on the other hand will always ask you for a fuss and will tell you it’s time for his walk. Sandra was so accommodating and attentive to our needs which was very kind of her. We tried her homegrown tomotoes, figs and nectarine jam and she recommended local areas and things to do. We definitely hope to visit again and look after the doggies and her home. This was a great sit! Luciano and Gabriel were friendly and communicative and made me feel extremely welcome in their beautiful home. The neighbourhood is peaceful and yet has lots to see and do. Moritz was curious, friendly, very easy to look after, and utterly adorable. He made a lovely companion for a few days.
WHAT A PLEASURE! We had such a great time meeting Louise and her beautiful fur family. Her home is gorgeous and well organized so it is super easy to care for! Lucy and Peaches are the sweetest pets we have ever taken care of… if you are considering this sit - DO IT! Louise is an instant friend and we will absolutely be staying in touch! The pets almost take care of themselves and just want to share their love the whole time. You cannot be unhappy one single second around them. Highly recommended!
