Meghan the trainer is exceptional, professional, knowledgeable and caring. We had our dog Riley set up for the 4 week train and board. Meghan did a great job training our dog to be a more well behaved dog they listens to commands. The grooming and veterinary care wellness check was top notch! The Birmingham Tattersall location staff consisting of Meghan, Molly, Landon, & Josie are my faves!! The constant love and affection they show to my Riley is highly valued and appreciated!! I trust them Wholeheartedly with a very important member of my family!!

Pet paradise in Birmingham is awesome, I was nervous for my pup cuz he doesn’t get along with a lot of dogs, but the staff there made sure he was fine and even texted me and updated me how he was mingling with everyone. Jules is the best person, she was so nice with giving all the information. If you have any anxiety about leaving your fur baby with them do not worry about it. They will take of your baby like their own. He was constantly on their laps lol

Very nice staff! She knew who my dog was when I came to pick him up! She described his behavior exactly as we saw on the cameras so I knew she really knew my little Bear!! And not just randomly saying stuff.

I love being able to check in on Jacks through the cameras! The staff is super kind as well and does a great job of looking after our sweet boy and of checking in with any updates or questions! Jacks loves his time at Pet Paradise and all the sweet staff members!

We were out of the country and my dogs became ill while being boarded at Pet Paradise. Pet Paradise contacted me, and then took my dogs to our own vet for treatment. Luckily it was not serious, but the vet did prescribe some meds. Of course we were worried, but we were comforted to know that our dogs were well looked after until we could get home. Thank you Pet Paradise!

We had a family emergency and needed last minute boarding for our two babies. Our regular very would not take them because they did not have a flu shot. I downloaded the app and had them booked in minutes.

When I picked my dog up after him being here for 3 nights, he came home with bloody diarrhea. I am thoroughly disappointed with our experience. Upon pickup, I over heard that another dog also was experiencing the same thing. They had no explanation to offer other than the fact the it could be anxiety which has never been a problem before.

I really want to love this place. It is convenient, beautiful, immaculate, has a little bit of everything. Our first visit there, my doodle was completely shaved without my being informed. I was aware there would be some shaving due to matting - so I chalked it up to my lack of experience (this was our first grooming). Then I noticed he had several small knicks from the clippers in his "armpits" and a round wound inside his ear, about the size of a nickel that has caused him to shake his head in pain. Again, trying to excuse the issues as minor, I took him for a second visit to board for one night. 48 hours later, he's waking me up with kennel cough. I know that is always a risk with boarding, but 2 issues within 10 days just seems tough to write off. :(

Absolutely the best care,, especially for my 2 who don’t like being left any. They came home happy instead of traumatized at a previous kennel we used. I will continue to brag about your amazing establishment.

I recently brought my dog “Pup” in for daycare and grooming. I couldn't be happier with our experience! The staff was incredibly caring and attentive. The kennel was clean and welcoming, which put both me and my dog at ease. Pup had a great time playing with new friends and came home squeaky clean and smelling fresh. I highly recommend The Pawms for anyone who wants their pet to be cared for in a loving environment.

Great place but was a little disappointed. My puppy always smells good when I take him to other places for a bath but this time he didnt even smell good (not bad but not fresh) and his little paws didn't even look like they had been washed. I was worried because he sounded like his throat was either dry or something when he came out. Not sure of he wasn't given any water or leash too tight on his neck while bathing. Also, his nails looked like they had been clipped with a dull clipper.

Pawms is a great place to trust with your fur child! They not only take good care of everything your pup needs, but it means the world when they call them by name upon entering or post pictures for you to stay updated.

We LOVE pawms! We have been sending buddy to daycare here for almost 2 years. We have always had a wonderful experience. Our dog loves it here and is always excited to go. It means a lot as a dog owner when you walk through the doors and each dog is greeted by the staff. They are wonderful and we could not be more thankful for everyone that works at pawms!

This was my Annie dog’s first stay with pawsms. She had a great time and came back very clean and happy! We will be using them again. They were EXCELLENT!!!

We've been clients of The Pawms for two years and we always get great service at a reasonable price. Our Havanese always gets to play in doggie day care when he's there for grooming so that is an added bonus too!

We board our cat here every time we go out of town. They take phenomenal care of him and they remember him each time I call for reservations. We also get my dog groomed here. By far the best grooming he has ever had. She is so good with the dogs and is super attentive to detail. I seriously can’t recommend Pawms Vestavia enough.

We are so happy with Pawms! We boarded our two dogs here for a week and they loved it. They loved it so much that when we brought them back home one of them sat at the door wanting to go back! Pawms posted photos of the dogs in Day Care every day. The employees were always so nice when we called to check on the dogs. We will definitely be using them for our boarding needs and will be sending our dogs to day care often!

Our pup has been to Pawms Vestavia since she was only a few months old, for both boarding and daycare, with nothing but positive experiences. Excellent facilities and caring staff, plus reasonable pricing/ packages make Pawms Vestavia a must-recommend.

Great park! It is clean, very big, shaded, and dog-safe. It has this beautiful waterfall that runs down to the dog pool. It has a trail that humans can walk on with their dogs off leash. I enjoy using the agility course too. The water could be a little bit cleaner, but I don’t mind cleaning up the pool. If there were a recurring problem like dog poop, you could count me out. But overall, I am thankful for this park. I didn’t have anything like this in my hometown.

We have boarded our dogs here twice and both times were phenomenal. We were able to go out of town and be at easy that our dogs would be happy, healthy, and well taken care of. Staff goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and happiness for our dogs. They are also wonderful about keeping open communication during my pet's stay. Both times we have gotten our dogs bathed and the last time we got a nail trim. They come home smelling amazing. Our dogs spend the majority of the day in the play yard, but the staff also gives them a chance to cool off when it's hot. If you're thinking about boarding here don't hesitate. I can't recommend them enough!!

We have been members here for years, it’s worth EVERY penny. The park is wonderfully cared for, the dogs must be personality screened for non aggressiveness to get a entry card, and everyone is so nice! Love it! Even has a nice spot for a picnic!

Cahaba Beach dog park provides your dogs with tons of space to run around and get their beans out. There is a beautiful treed area, a green space a water feature for them to play in and lots of shade.

Short version: We’ve had great boarding experiences here in the past, but recently my dog’s fur became badly matted in their care. Staff gave us a ridiculous runaround, then refused to take responsibility. I’m concerned about the care provided and the lack of responsiveness to pet parents’ needs. Details follow. We dropped off our Newfoundland for a 4-day, 3-night stay with bath, having brushed her out before drop off. When we got her home, we discovered that her fur was badly matted all along her sides, back, and rear legs. She was obviously lumpy-feeling all over when you petted her, and her behavior showed that she was very uncomfortable. It was like she was auditioning to be a Puli or Komondor. We called the next morning to request that their groomers fix the issue. The staff member said they couldn’t help, we’d need to talk to the “manager” who would get in at noon and call us right away. After 5 pm the manager still hadn’t called us, so we called and were told that the manager couldn’t help either and we’d need to talk to the “owner”, who would call us tomorrow morning. Tomorrow afternoon rolls around, and we still haven’t heard anything, so we called and were told the owner was upstairs, but busy and would call us at 8 am the next day. Morning of the 3rd day comes, and we were called (late), but instead of speaking to the owner a staff member was calling and told us that they didn’t feel they were responsible for the corrective grooming required and all they would do was refund the bath. We’ve been addressing her coat, but it’s taking us hours with a brush, comb, dematting tool, and, sadly, grooming shears in some places to deal with the issues. This used to be our go-to for boarding, but it had been a while since we used them and it seems they may have gone downhill. I am deeply concerned about: 1. The level of care, either in boarding or grooming, that would result in such bad matting in a dog’s fur 2. The lack of attentiveness required to send a dog home in that condition with no comment 3. The staff’s repeated failure to follow through on promised actions as simple as returning calls 4. The inability of the staff to address problems, either through the absence of delegation or the unavailability of the person(s) required to address them 5. A lack of responsibility to fix the issues they created when they are pointed out I am very disappointed, and regret that we will need to find a new place for boarding the next time we have a need. Note: I am completely unaffiliated with other recent negative reviews that owner claims are stemming from a single person.

Such a fun place for the dogs to play. The owners are thoughtful and kind and the whole place is well maintained! Highly recommend, definitely worth the membership.

This used to be the only place I would board my dog. BEWARE if you have special instructions. Because they dropped the ball, I am now headed toward a $4,600 surgery. I had written (via email & boarding confirmation) & verbal (via phone and in person) instructions. I was assured they would be followed. No one there seems to know what happened, but when I picked my dog up, he could not use his hind leg at all and was in a lot of pain. He had been fine for weeks prior to his stay & my special request had only been as a precaution. I understand they are busy, but if they couldn't accommodate a special request, they should have said so up front.

I had to take a moment because I've going there for almost 2 years and they were good when I started but I looooove going there now. I like to check in on my pup but he's been there for 3 days and he's never in the suite, and he's passed out every night in his bed meaning he's super tired from a day of play. They clean the suites daily and I love seeing my puppy sleep well at night. I'm a total fur mom and this is my baby and they treat him like he's theirs. I recommend this place highly especially if you love your dog as much as I do.

Cahaba Beach Dog Park is great. We have used the boarding services, doggie day care and grooming. Our dog loves going and we are 100% satisfied with their services. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Very bad people. Staff is pathetic. Kept my pet in a stinky dingy room full of poo and pee while I paid for the kennel. On enquiring about the reason the lady at front desk got irritated because obviously she did not have any answer. They made my sweet pet sick. I don't know where they will take all the money by torturing innocent speechless creatures. They are collecting curse for themselves. Will payback someday sooner

I took my new little rescue dog to be groomed today and we had a wonderful experience! Not knowing what his background has been in the past, I was delighted that he was so relaxed and content when I picked him up today. Chelsea did a BEAUTIFUL job on this little shih Tzu!! She was incredibly patient and obviously worked hard to bond with my precious furry baby and did everything I asked her to do!! Thank you so much!!

The Pawms is a first class outfit. Our dog, Mac Jones is treated well and we always have a god experience

Update: Justice for Lucky You may recall my review and photos depicting the horror my beloved baby endured at the Pawms Pet Resort Avondale. The why and the why not stop when Lucky was in distress from the painful cutting off of skin tags and the horrible shave down leaving him traumatized still went truthfully unanswered. The silver lining --- I took the matter to Court and won my case in my quest to get JUSTICE for LUCKY and also in hopes this will prevent other fur babies from experiencing the same harm. Bad professional behavior and not assuming accountability has consequences. Sadly, my baby has passed away....one of the sweetest little boy you would ever want to meet.

The Staff at the Pawns are the best. They love the dogs and are always nice and helpful! My Murphy loves to go there.

We have had great experiences with the Pawms Avondale. The staff are amazing; you can tell they love and care for dogs.

They always do an excellent job with my Bernadoodle! He’s terrible to even brush so I have no idea how they have him perfectly groomed, but they do an excellent t job! Making an appointment for grooming has always been a breeze.

Absolutely love this place for my dog! The staff is incredibly sweet and takes such great care of our fur child. They recognize her immediately and are so excited to have her for daycare or being boarded...which does this mama's heart a lot of good when we drop her off! Jeff and his team do such a great job and put our mind at peace when we are out of town. Not to mention, there is a vet right next door so if an emergency arises, she can be treated immediately. We've used Pawms - Avondale to board our dog (Bo) multiple times now. Everyone I've talked to who works there has always been very kind and professional. It is obvious that they care about the animals who stay there. When Bo had to take daily heartworm treatment medication, they listened and made sure they had all the instructions written down. They are also very fast and efficient during drop-off/pick-up. Bo always seems excited to go there and he is always happy/healthy when we pick him up. It's so reassuring to have a reliable place to take care of your pet when going out of town. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

LOVE this place! They always take such great care of my dog and I don’t feel worried or anxious leaving her here for boarding/daycare. Our pup, Scout, loves going to Humphrey’s! She runs to the door when we tell her she’s going to “school” that day. She always comes home tired & clean, which we really appreciate. We’ve used Humphrey’s for daycare, boarding, & grooming for several years and are always happy with the service. We said goodbye to our 13 year old Cockalier earlier this year, but truly can’t thank the staff at Humphrey’s enough for being so good to him. Thank you for loving our pups like your own!

Humphrey’s Dog Resort has been Fish’s second home for over two years and they’ve loved him like their own from day one. Whether it's accommodating him with boarding, splash pad parties, or posting memes of him on their instagram, they've always gone above and beyond making things fun. Their hours are perfect for nurses, and it's clear the staff genuinely love their jobs and the animals in their care. Honestly, I would die for Humphrey’s, and I’m pretty sure Fish would trade me for them any day!

They love your pets as much as you do and have a great sense of humor. I’ve been taking my dogs there since the day they opened and will never go anywhere else. All the activities, art, and pictures they do are so fun (and funny), and I love hanging them on my fridge. Humphrey’s is the best in town!

Our pups LOVE Humphrey's! We have one introvert and one extrovert pup and the Humphrey's team always find a way to meet both of their needs. We use them for daycare and boarding. The enhancement daycare has done wonders for our introvert and their boarding room service options are premium and make me feel confident they will get the love like they would at home :)

Humphrey's has been a life-saver for our sweet Winnie. We moved from a house with a big backyard to a smaller place downtown with no yard. Winnie did not adjust well. She became aggressive with other dogs and we couldn't take her out in public without worrying about her behavior. Since she has been going to Humphrey's her behavior has changed for the better! I can take her out to public places and she is well-behaved! The staff at Humphrey's is amazing! I can't single out just one staff member because every single one I have spoken with knows my dog and loves her. They truly know what they are doing and they treat each animal with love and positive reinforcement. I highly recommend Humphrey's Dog Resort!!

This is the BEST grooming and daycare service ever! My puppy is very shy but when we picked her up from daycare, she was playful and in a VERY good mood. It's like we have a completely different dog! And she looks GORGEOUS! Thank you Humphreys! This is her new grooming spot from NOW ON!

We absolutely love Humphrey’s for day care. The team is extremely friendly and the drop off/pick up is super easy. I appreciate that you can book individual days as needed an not need to commit to specific days. Buying packages is also very easy. Everything is super clean and we love checking social media for photos of our pup. Most importantly, he gets very excited as we pull up and can’t wait to go in. He’s tuckered out when we get him home and is ready for bed. It’s safe to say Humphrey’s is our pups happy place.

I would highly suggest Humphrey's Dog Resort! We weren't even able to board our dog there due to our own personal reasons. But the time Joanna took to walk me through their services and how accommodating they are for all types of dogs was mind blowing. She is extremely informative and I could tell she was already prepared and excited about the possibility of having our fur baby stay with them! We hope to get to board her there soon!

I’ve been bringing my big guy Bingley to Humphrey’s for more than 2 years. They take wonderful care of my guy, including adapting to his some of his idiosyncrasies. He comes home at night completely wiped out from a long day of playing. I never have to worry when I board him because everyone is responsive and adaptable. They also do a wonderful job when he gets bathed and groomed into his handsome self. I highly recommend Humphrey’s.

My dog Millie and I love Humphrey’s. They are always very friendly, and happy to see her! Millie has tons of energy so going to daycare daily is a must for her. She also boards, and is groomed at Humphrey’s. I’ve never been disappointed with anything at Humphrey’s.

Only giving one star because zero stars is not an option. If you love your dog/dogs DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE! I am a full time pet sitter but when I'm not available, the pet owners will have me drop off the pets for boarding. This was the 1st time I dropped off dogs here and after the process of checking them in, I immediately called the pet owners and said I did not feel comfortable leaving them. The man, I'm assuming he was the owner, came out to get them, he jerked the leashes out of my hand and immediately took them back. He never acknowledge me or the dogs, he did not say a word to me or them, he did not even pet them. When he got to the back, he yelled out" what are their names?". Fast forward to when I pick them up, the receptionist gave me the total and I reminded her that I'm not the owner, I was just there to pick them up. She then grunted and said, "I CAN'T believe an owner would send someone to pick them up without payment!" She said it in the most condescending tone. There is so much more I could say but I'll end with this... IF YOU LOVE YOUR DOG, DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!

I am so happy to have found Howlin Hollows The facility is beautiful and the staff so friendly and professional !! I have 2 Bernese Mountain dogs They ran straight in and never looked back. I had very happy babies when I returned from a trip . I would recommend them for boarding or daycare .

We searched around the greater Birmingham area for approximately 3 months before we found a place that we were comfortable leaving our pup with. Whereas other kennels and boarding places keep your pet in cages for a large part of the day and rotate them out during the day to play, Howlin Hollows has multiple, large fenced in outdoor areas for your dog to play in all day. All day!! They also have a zero entry pool for your pup to jump in and cool off. The actual kennel facilities are amazing. No cages. You really should at least tour this place before making a decision about whether it is right for your pet or not. It is especially great for high-energy dogs, and dogs that either really enjoy playing with other dogs or that you would like to socialize more. Our pup started off very timid and is slowly becoming much less shy around other dogs. Feel free to contact me personally- i'm happy to share more about my experience with this place.

My husband and I searched for a place to leave our 8 month old fur-baby while we went on vacation. Almost all of the places we found, kept the dogs in a kennel for the majority of the day with only 2 bathroom breaks (unless you wanted to pay an astronomical fee.) We just did not feel comfortable leaving our dog, until we found Howlin' Hollows. It is very close to our house and we saw the construction process. It is exquisite...from the large, clean (the cleanest boarding place I have EVER seen) kennels with clear doors, to the expansive fenced in play area for the dogs and the swimming pool- all of it is fantastic! We honestly figured it would be very expensive, but the price is comparable to other places in town- actually, the price is better when you consider that your dog has basically unlimited play time outside (paying more for extra bathroom breaks is not necessary.) My husband and I liked that before we left our dog, they had us do a half-day trial to make sure our dog was a good fit. This made us feel better to know that aggressive behavior is not tolerated since our dog is still a puppy and we worried about him being around so many other dogs. Overall, I have no complaints whatsoever. Scott and Kimi (the owners) are wonderful. I knew after reading their story on the website I would like them, and meeting them in person was no disappointment! I highly recommend using this for all your pet boarding and daycare needs! We also look forward to seeing it grow in the future- their website talks about having dog training classes and other amenities!

We have used Howlin Hollows multiple times for our two dogs when we have gone on trips. The facility is immaculate, clean and beautiful. The large indoor kennels are amazing with glass doors that the staff write special notes on about our dogs. (If they have a special treat etc) There are several different areas the dogs can run and play set in beautiful shaded woods and hills. They have a doggy swimming pool that is ionized and a water feature water fall. It truly is a vacation for our pups! Its so comforting to know our dogs are being so well taken care of when we travel!

Love this place! The staff is friendly, and the grounds are so nice!! I've taken my pup to quite a few places in Birmingham and this is by far the kennel we feel the most comfortable and she seems the happiest staying. I can tell she plays all day because she comes home just absolutely exhausted. Great place!!

We've absolutely loved this place since the first time we took our 12 week old puppy to board her. We've never experienced anything less than the highest level of service and care for our sweet pup. We feel like we're doing her a disservice if we don't take her out there at least once a week because she loves it so much! She gets to run around and swim, and she loves the owners like they're her second parents. Don't discount this place because of 1 review where there are 2 sides to every story and people who have reviewed without ever stepping onto the property. We've been fans of Howlin Hollows from the start and not one thing has made us waiver from our initial feeling. Thankful to have them as a part of the community and as a weekly resource!

I have been using Howlin Hollows Farm since March of this year for my dog's boarding and day care and the results have been exceptional. My wife and I have been looking for a place like this for years where your dog can run and just be a dog. Rosie, my brittany, is a high energy dog that needs plenty of exercise which she can get at Howlin Hollows. Scott, Kimi, and the entire staff go out of their way to make sure your dog has a pleasing experience. The facility is first class and always extremely clean. Birmingham has needed a place like this for your pet for a long time.

In 30 plus years of marriage my husband and I have never boarded our dogs when we go out of town always asking family members to care for them or getting a pet sitter. We heard about Howlin Hollows Dog Farm , toured the facility and started trying out the Day Care for our 3 dogs. We were so impressed we've already boarded them twice and couldn't be happier with the care and attention they received!! Kimi and Scott obviously love dogs and take care of their "guests" like they were their family. I am so happy we can now take our dogs to Howlin Hollows Dog Farm when we travel and have complete peace of mind about the care of our 4-legged children!!!

If you want people who remember when you call them and make a booking for a holiday a month in advance. This is not the place for you. They will ruin your day and tell you to "have a good day". Would not recommend. Except for dog training with Calvin is lovely. Tyler is not. EDIT: Came back to say, mistakes happen. My dog loves it there.

I have a somewhat reactive dog that is 100% excited and comfortable at Dog U. The staff are knowledgeable, know how to handle all behaviors safely, and make us feel welcome. I’ve had a couple situations over the years where we needed quick boarding, and they didn’t hesitate to help last minute. They are connected with our vet, so it’s incredibly convenient. Absolutely recommend!

We've been taking our dog to daycare and boarding with Dog U since moving to Birmingham four years ago. As a puppy, he could NOT be trusted alone all day while we were at work so sending him to daycare was the best option for us. Our dog loves going here and doesn't even look back when we drop him off. The owners Tyler and Calvin have done an amazing job with Dog U. The staff is always super friendly and helpful(love Abbie) and makes sure your dog is taken care of. Our dog is older now so he can stay home alone but we still board him here frequently and do daycare while he's there. Pricing for daycare and boarding is very reasonable but honestly, Dog U is priceless and we wouldn't take our dog anywhere else. They post pictures on Facebook daily of the dogs playing so you can relax knowing your dog is probably having way more fun than you :)

We put our puppy, Hattie, through the two week graduate program and wow! The results are amazing. She is so well behaved now and is easily corrected on her problem behaviors. Everything from chewing, potty training, and leash walking is such a breeze now. The training she received has made her an even better companion, because we can now take her with us anywhere we go and know that we won’t have to spend all of our energy trying to keep her in line. 10/10 would recommend to anyone! Worth every penny!

The folks at Dog U have done a great job with my Welsh Corgi puppy. She boarded and trained for a week with Calvin, who did a wonderful job training her to walk on a loose leash. Before her training, she was constantly pulling me and since her training, she behaves and is a joy to walk now. Their facilities are wonderful and my dog loves to go to daycare there. I especially like the different training and daycare packages they offer. It makes this investment much more affordable. I highly recommend Dog U for any training and/or daycare needs you might have. In my opinion, they are the best in town!

We have taken our Akita to Dog U two different times now and our boy seems to have a good time while he is there. He comes home tired and usually a little damp. The crew there has shared with me that our dog really enjoys the kiddie pools during the recent warm weather. I love that they are so closely located to our dogs vet. So I feel confident leaving my baby in their care.

We have taken our dog to Dog U for over 2 years. We initially did their one week training bootcamp and have continued with weekly daycare. The staff is so kind, attentive, and willing to answer any questions! Our dog is always happy to jump in the car and go when we ask if she wants to go to daycare. Andrea, Calvin, and Nick helped train her, and they were incredible. Gabe, Abby and the other staff members are some of the kindest! Our dog loves the Dog U team and so do we!

We Love Dog U! We adopted our dog when he was 2 years old. We brought him in right away! We started with educational daycare which was a great way for him to socialize and learn basic commands. Now, he goes to daycare to socialize and stay active. Everyone is very professional at Dog U, which is why we keep coming back! They know Cash by name and love him like he is their own! Dog U feels like family now and we recommend them to everyone.

DogU is hands down the best dog training facility in Birmingham. I’ve had 2 personal dogs and 2 foster dogs go through their training. I’ve also sent 3 of my dogs to daycare. Calvin and team are always available to answer questions, give tips and work with us. Calvin was the first trainer I spoke with that was willing to help me work through my alpha girl’s anxiety and dislike of other dogs. Highly recommend working with them!

Huck is always happy to go to the Pawms. He stays for a few days, or a week+ and is happy when we drop him and happy when we pick him up. He also gets groomed there. He always looks great and is never scared or upset. The whole staff knows him and we can all tell he is well taken care of there! We all love The Pawms!

This was my first time boarding my dog Clementine with Pawms. She was relaxed and well cared for when I picked her up, and I was able to ask for updates on her throughout her stay. Thank you for taking great care of her! We will be back!

Hank loves to visit the Pawms when we travel. He knows when we pull into the parking lot and can’t stop wagging his tail. He is always welcomed into the lobby and well taken care of. When he gets a bath he is very clean and smells good (which is hard because he has lots of hair). We would definitely recommend to others.

Our family LOVES the Pawms!! We treat our pet like part of the family, because she is! Our dog was bathed and brushed at the downtown. Our doggy seemed happy and content when we picked her up! They offer same-day service! And they really love dogs here!

My dogs LOVE it going here. They are worn out from having so much fun at daycare. It is also nice to leave your dogs in the care of people that you trust when you go out of town. The groomer, Jill was also so kind and caring when grooming our elderly dog. I highly recommend daycare, boarding and grooming at the downtown Pawms!

I moved to Birmingham about a year ago for a residency program with my dog Krewe. His anxiety worsened in a new environment unfortunately and I was at my wits end on what to do. I couldn’t leave the house without him crying and I needed help!! I found pawms and decided to start taking krewe to daycare. He has completely changed and is much more carefree and his anxiety has improved so much! I am so thankful for the pawms team and all they’ve done for Krewe and I. They dote on him and take such good care of him. He was even selected for pet of the month 🥹 we will miss pawms so much when we leave next month. We love y’all! 💓

It seems like everyone leaves a bad review when a cut doesn’t go quite as planned. Let me tell you, Pawms did such a great job!!! Our Poodle had only ever had a puppy trim and we brought him in this week for a big boy cut. I didn’t want to go too short, but my spouse really wanted some length off of him. After speaking with the groomer (April, I think) - I felt like it would be ok to go about 50% shorter than his current, grown out length. He had 2-3 tangle that were really bad bc he’d been neutered two weeks earlier and had been uncomfortable and really wildr and I hadn’t given his coat the attention it needed. April called us before she did anything and let us know she couldn’t fix it without cutting them out. She was gonna have to go shorter with his coat to blend it in. I was a little worried, but our dog came home looking like a million dollars. I couldn’t be happier with the job she did. They are also really nice and the communication is stellar. We will definitely be back! Edit: the cut in around his leg is where he had to have an IV for surgery.

The Pawms is excellent! We have been taking our dog there for years for daycare and boarding and have always received exceptional service. Great team and great company!
