Dog Sitters in Lake Ridge, VA

This was Kaitlyn's second sit for the guinea pigs and once again she did a wonderful job. Communication with Kaitlyn was excellent and she sent the most adorable photos of the piggies each day. I returned to a tidy house and happy pigs. Kaitlyn genuinely loves animals and I highly recommend her to other homeowners. She will always be welcome back any time she wishes.

Armando is a charming young man who cared for our home and Little Monster. He kindly agreed to sleep in the single room for his short stay to avoid us having to change linens, etc., on the morning we were leaving, which was very much appreciated. We had a lovely meal out the evening that he arrived. His caring nature filled us with confidence to leave him in our home with our precious LM. Little Monster was delighted to share his bed with Armando. He was very chilled on our return, but he concerned Armando by staying out much later than usual. Armando did the right thing and checked if this was normal. We received regular photos and updates. LM and ourselves highly recommend Armando. It was his first sit, but he is a natural and handled our requests for LM and the Hogs. We hope to welcome him back again in the future.

Rosalyn was wonderful! She took such great care of Bella and Franco and checked in with me often, so I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my dogs were being loved and taken great care of by Rosalyn! She has such a bright personality that all pets are sure to love her. I would love for her to stay with the dogs again!

I don’t know when Rebekah left my house but she was gone when I arrived home so I haven’t met her. The cat litter boxes were so full the cats had been forced to use rugs and the floor. The cat bowls were full of food which was consequently scattered and had to be thrown out as saliva all over it can cause disease if it’s left to be eaten up. There were several dead plants and the pots were bone dry. There was mail left in the mail box. The he pool had not been topped up with water so the filter had stopped and was clogged with debris. My pool service man had left a reminder on Tuesday to fill the pool but the level was below the tiles. My notes had obviously not been read. It was very hot in Central Florida this week but none of this should have happened with care. I don’t have 6 cats, I have 2. No dog to walk. I have pool and lawn service. I spent Mother’s Day washing floors and laundering rugs, watering gasping plants and dealing with the pool, all after after a very long day’s journey from South America.

Dana was an excellent sitter for Ollie! She was very communicative and attentive to details about the sit prior to our meeting. She provided plenty of updates even though we were only away for a couple of days. Ollie was a happy camper! Would have her back any time.

Having Biola stay with our kitty was truly amazing and set our hearts at ease since this was our first trip away after retirement, and losing one of our fur-babies. She was exceptionally communicative, chatted with us ahead of time and then came to meet our cat before the stay so that everyone was comfortable. Biola took pictures and video to send to us everyday and our home was very well taken care of. Our kitty was loved and we'd be overjoyed to have Biola back. Thank you!!!

We were out of the country for 2 months from August to October, and were so happy to have Ameelia take care of our home and our two cats. Ameelia was very responsive and let us know of any issues with the home, took great care of everything, and left the place just as we expected. She was proactive in checking the mail, and let us know of anything important, offered to open and send photos of anything we needed urgently (fortunately there wasn't anything) and sent periodic cat updates. Very reliable, friendly, and clean. We would definitely recommend her to care for your home or pets, and will look for her next time we're on an extended trip.

We had an online meeting with Khadyjah prior to confirming her as our sitter as it was a long sit with our new puppy. We also had a number of WhatsApp messages. She arrived the night before we left and we were able to talk her through Cody's routine etc. We felt very confident leaving him with her and she kept us updated throughout the sit with messages and photos. It was a delight to have Khadyjah to sit for us and I would not hesitate to recommend her as a sitter. She is very professional and caring with animals and when returned gave us a full run down of what had happened during the time we were away. A very kind and caring person

Super organised, enjoyed my fastidious details, cared for the dogs like her own. Really clean and tidy and very content hounds when I got back. I would not hesitate to recommend Kate - she was absolutely awesome. Brilliant updates too and we even had a video call with the dogs when I was away. 10 stars if I could! Thank you! Ernesto is a fantastic sitter: friendly, communicative, responsive, and thoughtful. He took great care of our cat and our home, and we would be grateful to book him again. The photos he sent of our fur baby were much appreciated! Ernesto rocks! ♥️?♥️?‍⬛♥️?♥️

I enjoyed Timothy’s demeanor and his love of pets is obvious! Lulu (who is usually harder to win over for men) immediately took to him. He did ensure that her walk schedule was adhered, so I appreciate that. He took good care of my home, but I found a sticky substance and remnants of something that was made in my air fryer (unfortunately two days after my return, so it took some scrubbing). I think he just forgot about it as he tried to tidy up on the last day. And I found a pool of water in the tray of my espresso machine that began leaking under it and along the counter. Which may have just been the result of some trial and error using it. None of those things were overly irksome. But they are the reasons for the clean & tidy rating. A good checklist for your end of sit expectations would help if you’re a stickler for things being thoroughly cleaned. Overall, I was quite happy because nothing major was out of whack, so this sit was a good 4/5 for me. And Lulu was HAPPY and healthy when I returned! And that’s always my number one priority.

Ashley is everything you would ever want from a house sitter. Trustworthy, reliable, a great communicator, and she EVEN left us some soup in the fridge. We enjoyed each other’s company even though we were never able to meet one another face to face. We feel so fortunate to have met Ashley and would highly recommend her!!!
