This was our first experience using house sitters and we were a little apprehensive. Pete and Sarah immediately put us at ease . They are warm, friendly, practical people who looked after our two dogs superbly. We had regular updates with pictures of them and our dogs on brilliant walks or sitting contentedly by their feet in the garden. We totally relaxed on our holiday knowing they were in good hands. We came home to an immaculate house , watered garden and even a lovely home made cake to welcome us back. We cannot recommend them highly enough. We feel very lucky to have had them choose to stay here.
Meaghan did a great job caring for our gang of 5 and our home/plants/fish pond while we were out of town for 10 days. She calmly dealt with several curveballs (including the neighbor's tree falling through our fence - eek!) with patience, grace, and understanding. She took our 2 pups for numerous long walks, which was a bonus for them since they don't require walks (but love them!). She was so kind about managing our quirky cats who like to act out when we're away. Meaghan was communicative, conscientious, and flexible. We trusted her 100%! Thanks, Meaghan!
Brendan and Karston took great care of our two older dogs, including deftly handling a health mishap with one of the dogs. They also coordinated the two dogs’, differing eating habits: one scarfs down any food available within minutes or seconds; the other often leaves food in the bowl for hours. With that challenge, they kept both dogs happy and well fed. We could see that Brendan and Karston enjoyed both of the dogs and the dogs had a lot of fun being with them. They regularly peppered us with pics, videos, and comments. Without question we would ask them back again. Another plus was on their day of arrival Brendan and Karston came early and we had an enjoyable evening of conversation and shared food before our departure the next day.
