This was our second house sit with Hannah and David. As was the case last time, we came home to such a happy, exercised, fit and well-loved Riley. Riley couldn’t decide who to go to next for pets and loves between the four of us. The house was spotless and even with an early morning flight the morning after our return, the beds were stripped and the trash was taken out. Riley got to go places with David and Hannah. They took her to Bark at the Park, they took her to early dinners at outdoor restaurants and they took her on new hikes. There was plenty of cuddle time and we received photos that kept us up to date on their adventures and quiet time. Honestly, we didn’t need to check in but felt totally comfortable with Riley’s care (free to be on vacation) during our three week trip abroad. As many of you will know, who have fur babies that they adore, this is saying something!! Thanks David and Hannah!! We welcome you back any time!!

Margaret and her boyfriend stayed at my house while I was out of the country for 3 weeks. It seemed like a good fit but was booked very last minute because the sitters originally scheduled had a medical emergency and had to cancel. My welcome document in zeewoi is very detailed and I have had only phenomenal experiences with past sitters. I let them know my Golden is a food hound and will eat any food left out (we have tried training... he's very sweet but is a counter surfer). I received a text in the middle of the night that he ate an entire pizza they left on the counter and were not sure what to do, so they took him to the ER and incurred a $700 bill (which I paid). I am a veterinarian. He did not need to go to an ER. But moving on about a week or so later - very few updates in 2 weeks until I received another middle of the night text that she would need to leave to meet her boyfriend (who had already left) in FL because his Grandfather was ill. She said she arranged for my mother (whose phone number she had) to take over caring for the dogs. I asked her to let me know when she would be leaving so I could make arrangements for a petsitter because my Mom was not the best choice. Then I came to find out from my Mom that she called her AFTER leaving my pets at home on her way to the airport in an Uber!!!! She literally abandoned my pets and home, called my Mom after leaving hoping she would take over AND THEN texted me in the middle of the night in a foreign country!!!! She failed to respond to any of the messages sent by Zeewoi to explain herself. As if that wasn't bad enough, when my Mom did arrive to walk my dogs my house was a total mess! Dirty linens, the floor hadn't been vacuumed at all and dog hair was everywhere, there were dirty dishes in the sink and dishwasher... I left her a SPOTLESS home and she left my house dirty, my dogs uncared for and cost me a $700 vet bill and another housekeeping visit. I sincerely hope she will never be allowed to accept another sit with this organization or any other.

Shannon and her friend did a good job with Deegan. The house was spotless when I return. They had even made me a pie! They handle the snow and power outage just fine. A little more communication and pictures of their contact with Deegan would have been helpful. He loves to be petted.

I could not have asked for more. They were responsible, dependable and had fun with Beau. Ann and Alan were terrific and took great care of Beau and the house. It was immaculate with everything in its place, don't know how they did that. They would be our first choice for our next trip and hope they are available. If you get a chance you can't go wrong with Ann and Alan. They are wonderful sitters and people.

Beth was all I could ask for in a sitter: easy communication, laid back yet responsible and reliable. She even went the extra mile and staked some of my plants that got knocked over in a windstorm. Kitties were content and the house was clean on my return. Plus she’s a great personality who’s led an intriguing life. Highly recommend her!

Dawn and Steve were wonderful! They asked what time I wantd them to arrive and were on time arriving. We explained the house information and Sloan's schedule to them and they understood fully. Sloan immediately loved them, so off we went with piece of mind that all would be well! Communication was great! Dawn sent lots of pictures and videos of Sloan on walks and playing on the beach which I loved! The house was clean and tidy when we arrived home and Sloan seemed to not want them to leave when they walked out the door! This was our second time inviting Jade to house/pet sit for our 2 dogs and 2 cats. Jade is communicative and caring - I can feel how loving she is to our pets and respectful to our home. We are already hoping she can sit for us again soon!

Rowanne and Casey are just wonderful sitters. Rowanne is an excellent communicator and provided regular updates and pictures. They took special care to engage with my cat, Jovie. She is a typical cat and usually hides away all day. Rowanne and Casey were able to hold her and have her sit on their lap. Just amazing! I so appreciated their TLC with Jovie. She was chill upon my return and that’s my sign that she had a good experience with Rowanne and Casey. My house was in perfect order when I returned and my plants looked well cared for too. I highly recommend Rowanne and Casey. They provided one of best sit experiences I’ve had with zeewoi.

Amanda was an excellent sitter and took great care of my home and my kitties while I was away! She was kind and easy to communicate with and left my house clean and tidy for my return. She sent pictures and updates on the kitties while I was gone too. I would welcome Amanda back to sit for me any time!

We stayed in Canmore for 2 wonderful months last fall while our friendly hosts travelled abroad.  We were welcomed into their beautiful home and had some time to get to know each other before they left.

Marybeth and Bryan

Bryan and Marybeth have two fantastic dogs and a great home!  The family was very welcoming and easy to communicate with.  They have a great set up for house sitters - you get a comfy bedroom and bathroom downstairs and the dogs love to sleep with you.  Bella and Patch are loving, well-trained pups.  If you go swimming, Bella with happily jump in.  Daily dog care is simple - they mostly need a playmate and affection, and I was more than happy to keep them company.  I definitely recommend!

Dianne has a wonderful home, in a convenient location close to public transport, shops and next to a park with walking tracks. We thoroughly  enjoyed caring for Albie. He is a wonderful walking companion and the best cuddle buddy. We definitely recommend sitting for Dianne.

We had a wonderful extended pet sitting experience looking after Troy, Archie and Toby. Lucille and Andrew are extremely attentive hosts who did everything they could to ensure a smooth stay and enjoyable experience. We had lots of lovely walks in the surrounding area. Troy is a young, excitable dog, with all the normal playful spirit you would imagine. We therefore adopted all the sensible precautions around our young children to respect him.

Apologies for this being so late,  I was sure that I'd posted a review back in late August but just now I've found it to be still outstanding.

My four weeks looking after Minnie was a pleasure. I would apply for this sit again.

 Minnie became more affectionate as the weeks passed, understandably so.  Her behaviour presented no surprise and Nui's description of what to expect was spot on, true.  Minnie does not venture off the property, even with full opportunity.  Looking after Minnie's needs, including medication was easy and without drama.  Nui provided an abundance of detail about the household operation as well as Minnie's care and her routine.

I changed from 5 to 4 stars because I more communication should have occurred about periods when both homeowners would be out of reach.  There was a couple to household items I wanted guidance about and was left to sort it out on my own (hot water became unavailable), as they were on a cruise and not able to be reached.  This is likely an unusual situation, but as a sitter, I will seek more details when assuming the requested responsibilities, especially as there was no family members or close friends given as a contact willing to accept responsibility in an emergency (including an associated cost)... again, something that I have learned to request. I really enjoyed my stay at Chris and Lisa's home...and taking care of Tucker was a labor of love. He is such a love bug that I wish I could have taken him with me. Their home is right on the water with a spectacular sunset view, and the house is simply wonderful. I highly recommend this assignment, but I hope that they only call me in the future.
