What an amazing house-sit. Thank you Dan and Hannah for entrusting me with your warm, bright home and amazing and loving Jess the cat for three wonderful months. The communication about the home before the house-sit and whilst housesitting was easy and friendly and Jess and I built a real bond and I shall miss her:) (I have so many photos and vids of her I may start making tabby cat calendars.) She is a fabulous cat to cat-sit and loves people and eats well. Miaow.
These doodles really are laidback! We loved being with Sadie and Pepper. Their temperments were sweet, and their smiles were so cute! Our daughter loved them and had a great time playing. Michelle left a great set of instructions. Her home was beautiful and easy to care for. Her pups also had easy easy to care for instuctions, and the whole process was just great.
I had a wonderful time looking after very affectionate, cuddly and chatty Bradley. Laura gave me a warm welcome and left very clear instructions for Bradley and the house. She even left some monkey nuts to feed the squirrels! Laura’s house was extremely pleasant to stay in, beautifully decorated, cosy and colourful, clean and well-equipped. Overall, it was a great stay and I’d be very happy to look after Bradley again!
Judy, Chris & Roxie are what make this house-sitting community so wonderful! Judy & Chris invited us into their lovely home the night before their departure, where we were treated to a delicious homemade dinner and could have spent hours exchanging travel stories. They were so easy-going, hospitable and fun to be around. They introduced us to Roxie, who warmed up to us pretty quickly and was such a delight to be around. We really enjoyed our playtime, brushing (which she relished), and conversations on the balcony (as she is very chatty)! She was really easy to care for and seems to have a good feeding schedule down, as she didn’t get sick once. Even though our stay was short, we formed a fast bond with her! Judy & Chris’s home was very well-kept and had everything we needed. They definitely anticipated any needs that could have arisen for us. We slept well in the guest bedroom and felt right at home immediately. It’s so nice how so many things are conveniently located to them, including, downtown, which was an easy walk. We couldn’t get over all of the vineyards and breweries in the area. And of course, the pristine waters of the lakes were great for swimming. We can’t recommend this sit enough and we would love to have the chance to come back again!! We miss Roxie immensely!!!
Carrie gave precise and detailed instructions regarding her flat and how to best care for Coleson. Her home is in a quiet, tree lined area of Flatbush. I felt safe in the neighbourhood and tried a variety of coffee shops and restaurants that were within a 5-10 minute walk. There are also a bunch of grocery stores nearby if you need to cook instead. The subway stop is about a 10 minute walk away, and offers easy access to Manhattan. Thank you for allowing me into your home, Coleson is a very sweet and chill kitty :)
I had a great 3 weeks with Annie Blu and April ( and even got a chance to pet Little Stewart) Erika and hee family was more than accommodating and her neighbors extremely kind. April and Annie Blu were the best company and the family cares for them extremely well! They had a easy routine and the house is located just a short drive from anything I would need. Thank you for having me! Will definitely be happy to care for those two ( and Stewart) in the future. ( I'll try not to cave to April and Annie Blu's adorable puppy dog faces, they trained me well 😆)
