I absolutely love this place they are so kind and friendly to all the animals. They definitely treat them as if they are family pets of their own. I love knowing that they will play with them and pet them and that they are not just left alone while you’re away or traveling. Very good prices and rates for all of the services they offer definitely a trusted place to bring your pets. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with everyone that works here. Paws VIP has been an absolute blessing for my one-year-old dog, Rocky! The staff treats him with so much patience and care, and he genuinely loves going there. Every time we pull up, Rocky gets so excited, which says it all. The team is fantastic—they even remember little details, like making sure Rocky uses a slow feeder during mealtime. I also love the social media updates; it’s so reassuring to see Rocky having fun and socializing with other pups. Paws VIP truly lives up to its name, providing VIP treatment every time. Highly recommend!

HANDS DOWN The BEST daycare! I’ve been taking my Daisy baby here a little over 4 years and she absolutely LOVES it! PawsVip is trustworthy, clean, and exceed my expectations on daycare/boarding facilities . Not to mention the staff are Amazing! I’ve never had to worry about my fur baby while she’s in their care .

The only place I trust to watch over my baby girl Maya. She is a hard one to earn over and she really enjoys her days and boarding there. Highly recommend!

This is the only place we board our two adopted dogs. We found Paws VIP for our older pups who is dangerously afraid of fireworks and loud noises. Being near the airport they aren't allowed and its the only place he feels safe on holidays like 4th of July. When we adopted our second dog the great things about Paws VIP continued. She gets anxious when she's not near our other dog so their sibling boarding option is perfect - and we get a discount! I recommend Paws VIP to all my fellow dog owners and will continue to bring our pups to their location for as long as we have them. Thank you for loving our dogs as much as we do!

I was nervous about leaving my energetic and playful pup, Max, in someone else's care, but from the moment we walked in the door, I knew we were in good hands. The staff was warm and welcoming, and they immediately made Max feel comfortable and at ease. The facility is clean, spacious, and well-organized, with plenty of room for the dogs to run around and play. Simmy explained everything very well. Thankfully

We love Janice's Critter Care! We've used them several times to take care of out cats while we were away on longer trips. They take excellent care of our cats and promptly reply if we ask for an update.

We started to use Janice’s Critter Care when we moved to Federal Way in 2019 to care for our cat. The peace of mind that her team provides while we are away is most wonderful. Her communication, responsive, and loving care she provides is beyond amazing. This past December we went away when a snow storm arrived and she kept us in the loop on conditions and still made it to see our diabetic cat. Even when the road wasn’t plowed and had to walk to get down to her house, she still made our cat and his health a priority. We are beyond grateful for her dedicated care and services. I highly recommend Janice’s service!!

We have been using Janice's Critter Care since we moved to Federal Way earlier this year. Janice is very responsive and flexible with our changing schedules. Christine always takes excellent care of our pup and makes sure he gets long walks while we are at work. We have had poor experiences with Rover in the past so we were thrilled to find this company. They have excellent knowledge about animals and they are genuinely good people. We would not trust our dog with anyone else. Janice is extremely reliable, always willing to work with my requests.we had to be gone for a week, I had 4 cats, (one diabetic requiring shots in am/pm) and an aquatic turtle. I had notes on everyday, they were willing to continue services if needed. The cost of the service very reasonable. I would highly recommend Janice’s Critter Care! This company is very personal and professional when it comes to onboarding and caring for furry loved ones. My pupper loved his carer and I'm so happy we went with them!! They left notes after their visits, and were very thorough when taking care of my old boy. I will absolutely be using them again and recommending them at every turn.

Tim & Janice have been watching our pets for 10 years now. They not only take care of feeding & exercising our dogs (mostly Newfoundlands, but we got a Rottie mix last year to add something new!), they bring in the mail and check the houseplants to see if they need water. Even better, they are able to look after our chickens when we are gone; managing their food, water and treats and giving them a little time and human conversation while gathering eggs. Our four hens are my "Birds with Benefits" and I would not trust them alone or with someone who would scare them and cause them to stop laying those delicious eggs. No one else has come close to the excellent services provided by Janice's Critter Care! Doug & Cathy

We were out of town when our pet sitter experienced a family emergency which left us scrambling to find someone to watch over our cats. I called frolic and explained the situation. We set up an interview call immediately and was guided through the process with ease. Molly and Alexis came by in the evening and took excellent care of our cats by giving them tons of love and playtime. They really showed a deep love for the well being of our pets. Prices are reasonable, reports are thorough and service is excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend Frolic to anyone.

What a fantastic experience! The team at Frolic took exceptional care of all of us, from first contact to the last tummy rub. Professional, friendly staff along with detailed reviews and pictures made our first week of dog walking so easy. We had a snafu with our elevator and the dog walker was responsible and flexible - really amazing. 🤩 My two fur babies had a great time, so glad I found this company!!

We used frolic for the first time last weekend and were very happy with the care our pets received! We were very apprehensive about using a dog sitter but we are very glad that we were able to find a reliable and professional service. Everyone was fantastic and customer service was friendly and easy. Justin and Dylan were so sweet with our boys and we greatly appreciate the effort they took to play with them, clean up the backyard, and bring in packages. Frolic Pet Services is fantastic. I've used them on trips out of town to help keep my pet family well cared for and they've done excellent. They took pictures daily, communicated well throughout the whole process, and honestly just went above and beyond. I will most certainly use their service again.

I usually have terrible panic attacks and anxiety leaving my cats, one of whom needs insulin injections 2x a day, when I've gone away to visit my elderly father. I usually set up a kitty cam and check it rather obsessively while I'm gone. Since I found Frolic Pets, it's a whole different feeling! I don't even need the anxiety medication I usually take when traveling! They give you updates each visit on their super convenient pet portal. Really detailed and thorough notes on everything that they did or noticed. They even attach pictures of your pets from each visit and they respond immediately to any inquiries. Their staff are kind, competent and really care about your furry family members. I asked a friend to stop by my apartment mid-day in addition to Frolic Pet's visits the first time I used them. I didn't even bother my friends the next two times I hired them. I felt 1000% confidence in their staff's care and dedication to my cats specifically. I swear my home was even more clean after their visits than I usually leave it! They're absolutely amazing. You won't ever worry about your beloved pets when you travel again!

We just used Frolic for the 1st time for our 2 cats. I was a little anxious leaving them for 2 weeks with a new sitter, especially as one of my cats requires medication twice a day. We had 3 different sitters take care of the cats, and after each visit, we received a detailed report of medications dispensed and care given, plus numerous photos. The sitters exceeded my expectations, even taking the trash out (we didn't ask that this be done). I would definitely use them again!

Our neighbors use Froloc pet services, and we've watched the employees walk and interact with the neighbors dog and they do an amazing job. But, we see this one employee walk the dog, and I've never seen so much love and compassion. That guy absolutely adores this dog like it's his own, and always taking great pictures of the dog, even getting on the ground for the perfect pic. We've noticed this for over a year. I finally told him today how great we thought he was with the dog. I think his name was Thomas and the house (area)is located on 7th in Puyallup. That man deserves a raise for going above and beyond.

My pup gets anxious and isn't super great socially with other dogs, but I know I can rely on Carol and Frolic staff to ensure that she is safe and taken care of when I need it. They took great care of her when I couldn't after my double jaw surgery. I even talked over surgery options with owner Carol before going through with knee surgery for my aging pup, she is so knowledgeable and wants the best for all the pets she/and Frolic cares for. The daily pet reports while boarding puts the minds of my kids, my husband, and I at ease when we have to be away from our canine baby. Staff always write the nicest things about our pup. We will drive out of our way to make sure our pup can be cared for there (even after we moved to Eastern Washington) because of the quality of care we know she recieves.

I use Frolic for walking my dog. They are very professional and have come across as trustworthy and knowledgeable. Every time they walk him I get an email with pictures and status of if he peed or had a BM, if anything unusual happened, anything you can think of they give me a status of. Their app is easy to use to schedule walks and the price is comparable to Rover but without the stress of potentially cancelling. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a walker (they have other services but I have not used them).

DO NOT BOARD HERE! Has gone downhill! Beware of hidden boarding fees! I first contacted Frolic a few years ago upon moving to WA as Frolic seemed like a great option as they were close, with a flexible schedule, and a large number of staff. Dog walking seemed to go pretty well, and they also offered boarding services, which for our first few vacations, worked great. Recently I had my dogs stay with Frolic while my wife and I were on vacation and expected things to go as well as usual. To my surprise I received a message from Frolic On the first day of boarding that I would be charged a extra fee for one of my dogs barking....um, you own a dog business? Why am I being charged for a dog being a dog? I was also charged because Frolic insisted they knew better than me when it came to medicating my senior dog, I had specified proper dosage three times by the time the our vacation was over, and the owner suggested she knew better, and charged me for over-medicating my dog despite repeatedly telling them to stop. Luckily, an overdose for my dog isn’t fatal, but for yours it could be! As the staff and the business owner will not listen to the dog parent when it comes to dosing instructions. By the time all was said and done, we could’ve boarded a third dog for what we paid in hidden fees, which is outrageous because Frolic already charges more than an animal hospital with 24/7 care. Also, these extras are subjective, and therefore non-negotiable. I was of course I was not told about these extra fees until Frolic already had my dogs. Beware, if you care about your pets, please avoid this place at all costs.

Our two pups LOVE going to daycare. The staff is great and always attentive to the pups. We have used their boarding services and our dogs highly enjoy their stay. Pricing is reasonable and there is a discount after one dog. They also do packages of socks daycare. For those dogs that may not do so well with others, they also offer non-social daycare. One of my favorite things is that they also have a groomer which is super convenient and easy to book with.

Everyone has been really sweet and welcoming. My pup loves paws n pals, he seems to really enjoy going and comes home happy! The pricing is really reasonable. And the hours are flexible and they have weekends. Love the pictures they post. Natalia and Cheyenne are particularly good with him, they’re so sweet and loving toward my pup! The downside is that there is no online booking, so you always have to call or email, they don’t save your card on file so you have to check out each time. But overall we’re really loving this dog daycare! I’m a happy dog mom knowing he’s in very good hands.

I highly recommend Paws n Pals for daycare and boarding of your pup. For me, the location is supper convenient to my place of work in Kent and all of the staff has been wonderful. My dog is a high energy husky/German Shepard mix. He loves going here and is zonked afterwords, he sleeps on the car ride home.

I picked up my dogs from daycare and they had great things to say about the dogs. When I got home and was able to take a look at one of them more closely she had many nasty looking sores on her body. I was upset and emailed the manager who assured me they would look into it. Eventually they decided it was caused by her low mobility (which is possible) but still, why not bring this up with me during pickup? It's as if it happened and was ignored. It doesn't tell me if the sores were attended to or monitored during her extended stay. Not going back, in her 8 years with me she has never developed a sore of any kind. Makes me wonder what happens here.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Paws n Pals for their exceptional care of our husky during her overnight stay in Seattle, followed by their awesome coordination with Delta Cargo to prepare her for her next flight. As we arrived from our international flight, Veronica kindly met us curbside to make the pick up process so easy. Our husky had broken her water bowl on the previous flight. Paws n Pals, however, went above and beyond, ensuring that she had a replacement bowl and even pampering her with a cozy bed in her kennel. The thoughtful attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Throughout the entire process, Veronica thoughtfully kept us connected, sharing so many pictures from the moment they picked up our husky until the final check-in with Delta. We are genuinely grateful for the amazing service provided by Paws n Pals. It is evident that our girl was showered with love and attention, making her journey all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough positive things about Paws and Pals Dog Day Care! From the moment I walked through their doors, I knew my furry companion was in the best hands possible. My dog boarded for 19 days. She was to be groomed at the end of her stay. However, about 2 days in, we realized the weather would be hot and asked that she be groomed that week. Fast forward to picking her up... she is not groomed. My dog literally looked homeless. She was wet, dirty, and so stink. I asked how could they allow her to be like this in this heat? She could barely see. They accused us of picking her up early until my husband showed them the email. We would have paid for another grooming. How could they let our dog be like this for 19 days? She must have been so miserable. All they could do was apologize and give a 10% discount for future grooming... no no NO. You all didn't care about our dog. Truly disappointed and will never ever leave my dog with them or any other boarder ever again!

Trust them with your pets! After a last minute change to my original plans, Brett went out of his way to help, accommodate, and care for my two dogs on their layover. They answered calls when nobody else would, made me feel at ease with his genuine interest in taking care of my dogs and was willing to work with a unique situation I was in, to get my dogs home. I will recommend them to anyone who has dogs traveling through the Seattle area.

I used Paws n Pals airport service to board my dog during his overnight layover. Veronica with VB Transport Services picked him up for his overnight stay and brought him back for his next flight all while giving me pictures and frequent updates over text. Everyone involved made the stressful experience of flying a pet so much more manageable and less concerning. I couldn’t recommend this company and their services enough.

I've been coming to Buscuits for three years. My beautiful boy Oliver always looks wonderful after a visit with Elisabeth. All the staff is helpful and friendly and I can tell they are animal lovers. I have complete trust in them and would definitely feel safe boarding there if it was ever necessary.

Groomers are awesome! My Pom has idiopathic alopecia and they do a great scissor cut to blend her fur around places where she’s lost hair. She looks great!

We've been a client for over ten years with the same groomer, Heather. Our former dog was very nervous around other people as he was a rescue. Other places called him a drama king, sadly. Heather and the shop were wonderful to him. Now we have Lady Evy who is so trusting, and Biscuits is still the best. We're so proud to support their business and will for years to come

Been taking my dog here since I moved to Federal Way. The owner is great, other dog groomer not so much honestly… She can be rude at times and misses spots completely. 5 Stars because the owner is fantastic at both customer service and grooming.

TL;DR: great staff. safe clean environment. Thorough evaluation. A client of mine highly recommended Biscuits for doggy daycare and after just a few visits we can see why. Our puppy Ponyo is a pit/husky mix so she's very smart, incredibly active and unfortunately anxious when left home alone. We were nervous at first to bring her to a daycare setting as we don't have any friends with dogs to socialize her with and do not trust dog parks. She went through a very thorough 4hr evaluation and came home a happy, sleepy puppy. She's learning how to socialize with other dogs and her training sessions are much more constructive with all that energy burned out. They have a wonderful app that provides updates and videos/pictures that you can download. The staff has been very understanding of her hyper puppy antics and my nervous pet mom check ins. Overall we've been very pleased with her care there and elated to find a safe outlet for her energy and socialization.

I've been taking my two dogs here for 6 years. Since they were puppies. They've never had an issue. Today I was told that my dogs wouldn't be able to come back. They said he destroyed 2 of their kennels. That would cost them a ton of money to fix and the kennels would be unusable. I asked to see the kennels. The corner of a chain link fencing was pulled out that was held on by a U-shaped nail. He chewed a small corner of a piece of wood that was covering a window. And then she started pointing out little stuff like, paint chipped off the wall, which all the kennels had that. I would have understood and been mad at my dog if he really did destroy their stuff. This stuff is easy cheap quick fixes. I was a Veterinary Assistant, in this line of work you expect some stuff to happen and animals aren't perfect. To me it feels like this person was trying to find an excuse to get rid of me and my animals for some reason. I believe they are in the wrong line of work. I wish I would have thought of it to take pics. I'm glad I asked to see it. I was stressed and worried I wouldn't be able to board my dog anywhere again. And I was so stressed about how I was going to be able to leave my dog to go to work, or trips... Before I saw the kennel, I was considering that I may have to get rid of my dog. It was so upsetting to think about that.

I've had my dog here for about 2 years. It's been a life saver when I had a baby and needed/wanted my pup to go play. I appreciate the daycare package of half days (half price), but flexibility if she needs to stay longer. It's been worth it and they incorporate fun things to keep the dogs engaged such as sprinkler time in the summer and themed photos for holidays.

I absolutely love the service here. Elizabeth has been grooming my GSD/Rottie puppy for over a year and just recently started grooming my new puppy Broly. She is kind, caring and you can tell she has a passion for dogs and what she does. I appreciate her very much and will always return to her for grooming needs. Boarded my Frenchie Balenciaga with Good Karma Pet Care when I went on vacation from 08/21-08/23. I had never boarded him before and was super nervous but Chelsea made me feel so much better about boarding him. Chelsea was so knowledgeable and friendly and took extra steps to make sure I felt at ease leaving my pup for a couple days. I could tell immediately that Chelsea really cares about the dogs in her care. I would recommend anyone who needs pet care to choose Good Karma. I know exactly who I will be calling the next time I need care for my pup. Thank you Chelsea and Good Karma!!

This review is so long overdue. If you're looking for a great doggy daycare, listen to me, you are never going to find better ownership and staff for a doggy daycare than here. They all loved my sweet Ada like she was their own pup, and you can tell they treat every dog with individualized love and care, which is so immensely valuable and rare. I became well acquainted with the owner and staff in no time - they're all very kind, friendly, often hilarious if you ask for a good story. Something that is also so rare is how creative they are - we still have every seasonal/holiday photo, laminated paw stamp, ornament, etc. They are all treasures we will love forever and we're so happy they take the time to create memories for us of Ada. I also love that they keep up on posting photos of the daycare dogs on their Facebook, where my mom would 'like' photos and engage with the staff in the comments. The place really became a part of our family and something to share in common with coworkers too. Until we had to begin looking for other daycares in Olympia I don't think I understood just how rare and lucky I'd been to be taking her here for all these years. No where else begins to meet the high level of service and love we got at this place. So if I could give this place a 20 out of 10 I would. If you're going to starting taking your doggo here please be fair to the staff, be kind and be appreciative of the amazing work they do, because you won't find a place like this anywhere else. Thank you all for the amazing years. Ada and I miss you and can't thank you enough for the wonderful memories.

You are gonna owe courts and a lot of people a lot of money with these fees after what you did… Your company and the story reached Arizona. Congratulations you’re almost infamous.

This is extremely sad, I don’t know how you can operate this business while also not reuniting a family. I don’t know how you don’t feel any guilt or remorse for this poor family and her fur-baby. It’s unprofessional and quite frankly sick. Please give this lady her dog back that’s your responsibility and your obligation as a pet provider. The puppy is probably so sad and misses its family and vise versa. Please do the right thing here!

We purchased a 10 use daycare pass, and were not told about any expiration. We had used it once when we were suddenly informed of the very short expiration window. $200 down the drain.

I don't know how I would have survived the last 7 months without Chelsea Bassett and the whole pack at Hound Hangout! I received a donated puppy to train as my service dog. Despite planning on this for over a decade, I was in the midst of a deep depression when I got him and completely unprepared for the bundle of energy I received. But the care and support my Charlie got at Hound Hangout, as well as the socialization, helped us both survive his difficult puppyhood. I transitioned to working full-time work during that time and knew he was even happier with them than if I were home with him. He is going to turn out to be a great dog, thanks in part to the calm, balanced and fun environment in which he got to spend much of the most vulnerable months of his life. I was also hospitalized twice in that time. I probably would have worried myself even sicker without knowing that someone as competent and caring as Chelsea was taking care of him. THANK YOU!!!

Love Good Karma. I’ve been taking my dog there since he was 4 or 5 months old. He’s 1.5 now. He loves it there and they love him. Super reasonably priced. I love that you don’t have to make a 24hr + reservation for daycare. Some mornings unexpected work things come up and I need to take him to daycare for a half day. Never a problem. He always come home tired and happy! He also boards there when I have to go out of town. Love the owner Chelsea and her staff.

Well they are nice people, and our dogs are treated great. But! They don’t listen to our request. We have old schnauzers. They need shaved and their paws cut short. This is the second time they have been here. Their hair is still a quarter inch out side of their pads. The rest of their bodies are trimmed but still long. Not shaved. They will be ok and look ok. I just don’t know if we should go back or try the place down 6th ave.

From Puppy Social to AKC CGC, we've participated in almost all of the manners classes and workshops, often revisiting them to navigate the teenage stage. Our older dog has been enjoying classes and daycare for 2 1/2 years and absolutely loves seeing her friends. We greatly appreciate the staff; each trainer offers unique skills and knowledge which they gladly share. Their genuine love for dogs is evident. Our newest addition, a 5-month-old puppy, is starting his journey with Gold Star, and I’m confident he’ll receive excellent training and become a wonderful companion like his big sister.

Our pup has gone there for the last 3 years for boarding and daycare and loved every moment. If I could pick them up and take them to Tacoma with us, I would. They have done little projects and pictures for holidays with the dogs and do add on enrichment activities that the dogs love. If your pup needs some play time or someone to watch them when you go out of town, Gold Star is fantastic!

We’ve taken our one year old Aussie to Gold Star since she was 10 weeks old. We’ve done countless puppy social hours, several levels of obedience classes, daycare 2-3 times per week, and overnight boarding. The staff is knowledgeable, caring, and genuinely enjoy working with dogs and their human owners. In classes you will learn the skills and behaviors to find your dog’s motivations and how to communicate with them. When I drop her off for daycare she is always so excited and the staff is excited to greet her. I can’t recommend Gold Star more!

First and only experience with gold star was so negative I refuse ever take our puppy back. After reading such great reviews we were so hopeful this would be a closer fit and with the extra training capabilities it would really help our 6 month puppy with direction and socialization. We dropped our girl off and not even 45 min later they called us to pick her up because she was barking in a kennel and “tried to escape by jumping over a 6ft fence” we were so shocked to hear this as her other daycare loves her and speaks highly of what a good playful pup she is. My husband walked inside to get her and hears the older woman yelling at the dogs to shut up because they are barking, he then asked again how she managed to jump over a 6ft fence and was told it was actually a much smaller fence and she jumped over to try and go play with the big dogs. The lack of patience is extremely concerning, the yelling at pups for barking was the cherry on top to never bring our girl back. Do not recommend this place to anyone ever! We LOVE Gold Star Dog School! We've worked with four different trainers here in different types of classes and skill workshops (Beginning Obedience, Intermediate Obedience, Scent/Nose Work, reactive dog classes, polite greetings, leave it! skills, etc) and I would not hesitate to highly recommend every single person we've worked with over the last year. The facility is spacious and clean, everyone is very nice and professional, and our dogs have definitely shown improvement. Cannot say enough good things about these fine folks!

I have completed puppy kindergarten and several puppy socialization hours with my 4.5 month old Goldendoodle. Archie loves the environment and the instructors and always runs into the building. Jean and Terry do a great job starting the young ones off right and create a positive place of learning for both dogs and their humans. Archie will begin their basic obedience class this week.

I highly recommend this facility and staff. Terri and her daycare staff have been taking care of my dog for over a year now. He was very shy and fearful at first, but they were extremely patient with him and he now really enjoys doggy day care and goes several days each week. We have also taken a couple private lessons, and several group classes, one with Terri and several with Jean. All the classes have been fun and worth while. The privates have been informative. Jean is phenomenal. She has taught us so much in her Calm Canine and basic obedience classes. Jean is especially skilled in training reactive dogs and their humans. We also had a positive experience boarding with Terri a few times. Shout out to Day Care staff- Taylor, Chloe, Melissa, Emma and Megan as well for all you continue to do for us!

This place is great! My dog loves it! She didn't start out loving it because she had never really been away from her family. But the staff worked very closely and diligently with her (and me) to ease her into being away from me and she very quickly adjusted to absolutely adoring the staff and daycare/day camp. They also take super cute dog pics for holidays and they even do arts and crafts which are too adorable for words. If you are thinking about daycare for your pup, definitely check out Gold Star!

Terri has trained all three of my dogs and has been my trainer for the last 6+ years. She also has been my go to recommendation for my puppy people and has trained a number of my puppies. She now has her own facility which is amazing! She gets you up and working with your dog, minimal time in the chair and gives really good feedback to help you and your dog be successful. We love Terri!!

Terri and the trainers at Gold Star Dog School have provided excellent training for my two dogs (and me!) We have worked with them for competition obedience, rally obedience, and for puppy kindergarten for many years and always receive positive, supportive training approaches that are very helpful. I highly recommend Gold Star.

We used Linn to watch our two cats while we away, and she did an amazing job. It was so nice to get to have them stay at home versus being separated for boarding. She administered medicine for one of our cats, tended to the litter box, made sure they got water/food, and played with them! Tremendous value for the price. She even got our mail for us. Would highly recommend!

The business owner is wonderful with pets. If you need to travel away from your feline fur babies for a short time, you can safely leave them in their comfortable home environment and Linn will come visit and feed them so they don't have to stay in a kennel. This service is super valuable to us.

This is the best place for day care and boarding! Linn is flexible to changing schedules, and quick to respond. She monitors the group closely, and makes sure all the dogs get along. Her yard is great for the dogs to run around, and the indoor space is great to keep them dry in the winter. I really like that when our dog boards here, that he is not in a kennel, and treated like family. Couldn't ask for a better place to send our dog to!

Linn is amazing!! She was a life saver! My husband and I have to travel a lot for work, and a lot of the travel is last minute. We gave Linn a set of our house keys, and we were able to call at the last minute and ask her to cat sit for us. When I travelled, I never worried about my little cats, I knew they were in good hands. I like Linn because she is a professional, she is licensed, and knows pet CPR! My cats are very shy, and don't always like strangers, but they loved Linn! I really felt that Linn genuinely cared for my cats. It was also nice to get pictures of my cats while I was on the road. I only wish that we still lived in Tacoma! **UPDATED: My husband and I had to travel for 3 weeks in a row. We didn't know what we should do with our cats. We don't live in Tacoma any more, and we didn't want to try a new cat sitter for that long. So Linn offered to board our cats! I can enjoy my vacation knowing that my cats are being looked after and cared for at Linn's place!

Linn is amazing with our dogs and has been extremely welcoming every time. She's also very accommodating with our needs. We moved further away but will continue to use her.

We take our two germans shepherds to Personal Pet Concierge and have loved them. We love that we get several updates from Linn several times while we are away, and we know that our dogs are being cared for throughout the day, not just left alone in a crate. We love that the dogs are not being kenneled and are in a home environment and aren't surrounded by a large number of other animals during their stay. Carter P.

We have taken our Mini Aussie Roo to stay with Pet Concierge a couple of times and she LOVES it. Lynn takes great care of her for a reasonable price as well. I appreciate that she sends updates with pictures of how Roo was doing while we were out of town which helped us relax knowing she was in great care. Roo always has a comfortable stay with dog beds, room to run and enjoys playing with the other animals that are staying with Lynn. Lynn even went the extra mile and bought us another bag of dog food when we ran out on the last day. Saved us a trip to the store on the way home when we picked up Roo. Highly recommend them for pet sitting.

I love Personal and Pet Concierge. Linn and her team make traveling for work easy and stress free. I never worry about my cat anymore because I know he's in really good hands. While their services are 100% great, I want to highlight a couple areas in which I think P&PC excel. The first is communication. This is an important area for me (I'm a writing teacher) and I find that many petsitting agencies and individuals struggle to maintain adequate communication before an after my travels. P&PC have been wonderful communicators. They reply quickly to my efforts to schedule care for my pet. They send me updates (including images) while I'm away. And they are always clear about billing, visit schedules, etc. I couldn't ask for more. The second area is care. In the past, when I would return from a long trip my cat would be all out of sorts from a lack of TLC. Since I've been working with P&PC, he seems to barely notice that I've been away. This is because they visit him often and they treat him like he matters (like he's their own pet). It's not just about keeping food in his bowl. In sum, I can't recommend these folks any higher. I don't think you'll find better pet care in the area.

AMAZING! Our rescue Border Collie, Quinn, had always been a little apprehensive around other dogs, especially males. He spent a week with Linn & Mark and their bevy of guests. Quinn had the time of his life! He was exhausted and content when he got home. It has now been several months since his stay, and we continue to see the positive after-effects of his visit. He remains confident and more social. As a matter of fact, we had a true test shopping at the hardware store yesterday. Quinn was relaxed and social with a male dog, even sharing a treat! My pup Raspberry has been coming to Paws Play since April 2023. This is my first experience with a doggy daycare and I couldn’t be more happy! I love seeing the updates on IG and TikTok while I’m at work, and I love that they do different events/activities for the dogs. We do daycare twice a week and she has so much fun that I don’t think she’s ready to leave when I pick her up! She sleeps amazing after a full day of playing with her friends and I’m happy knowing she’s in good hands when I’m at work!

My dog Luna has been going to Paws Play for almost three years and always has a great time. They work hard to make sure each dog had their personal needs met and enjoys every visit. Luna also loves boarding when I am out of town and I feel great leaving her with people she loves!

My dogs love this place. They cant wait to get out of the truck to play with all their friends. The staff is super fantastic. We do daycare, boarding and buy all our food from them. Super care of my pets and provide competitive prices on food.

Boarded my dog here for a 5 day vacation. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff or care my dog received. He had a blast and played so much that he slept for a whole day after coming home haha. If you miss your pet, they will give you status updates and even send photos. I have attached a few. Look how happy he is! Cute! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It’s definitely cheaper than some spots, but they should charge even less due to the poor service and treatment they provide to the pups. My dog used to cry on the car ride there - he only gets excited now when we go to his new daycare. Don’t think that’s any coincidence. They’re contained to a windowless warehouse space - *they do not take them outside at all*. So they just poop and pee on the hard cement all day. They randomly kicked our puppy out, mind you with no warning at all, due to his “behavior”. When I dropped him off that day, they took him in and then the girl immediately told me she’d be giving him a bath because he just laid in another dogs pee. Like it was our fault.. maybe she should’ve cleaned up the mess sooner? Then I proceeded to watch her scream at the dogs. She seemed miserable (she was the only one working and there had to be at least 20 dogs in there). When we went to pick him up after we were notified he was kicked out, we thought he bit someone or something. Turns out their reasoning was he was just too rambunctious.. because he’s a PUPPY. Why would they let a less than 1 year old puppy into their daycare to begin with if they didn’t want to handle puppy energy?? Before leaving with him we asked if he’d gotten that bath and instead of answering the question, the manager/owner (I think her names Tabitha) just proceeded to talk badly about our dog. My partner said, “right you just told me you thought he was too much, I’m just asking if he was given a bath like we were told he’d be given.” The owner replied “I’m not sure.” She should not be allowed to operate this business. Ended up being a blessing in disguise because we found a new daycare - Kate is pricier than paws play but the dogs run around outside, and she seems like she loves what she does. She’s also only said very nice things about our pup - “he’s always so positive” for example. He’s got high energy but he’s a very good dog. Moral of the story, Kate’s an angel and Tabitha sucks. Don’t put yourself or your dog through this.

My dog loves this daycare, he’s so happy when I pick him up. One thing that really stood out was how seriously they take the trial run to make sure your dog is a good fit. The owner mentioned that they also do “down time” so the dogs can have space and don’t run themselves ragged playing constantly. I’m very grateful they open at 5:30, which allows me to make it to work on time (only daycare in the area open this early, btw!). Staff members are always so kind and friendly. Really glad we found this place.

Best doggy daycare ANYWHERE!!! Super great staff and doggy friends for our Mika. We take our pup once a week when my husband goes into the office. Mika is always so super excited to go in that it’s hard for her to contain her excitement. Aside from the daycare we’ve also had Mika stay for boarding. We like that she gets her own space and not have to be in a kennel since she doesn’t stay in a kennel at home. Seriously we could not be happier with Paws Play.

Our dog loves Paws Play! We tried other daycares before we found Paws Play on a recommendation from our boarder. The others were bigger groups and didn't seem to interact with the dogs too much and our dog didn't seem too happy to be there. After his first day at Paws Play he was tired and happy and definitely enjoyed the smaller pack there and the interaction the staff has with him. Now he knows when we are there and runs to the door to get in! It is nice to know that he is in caring hands while we are working as he is able to play but they give him time to rest too when they see he is tired. We are so glad we found Paws Play and our pup is too!

My Chloe loves paws play! We have done both daycare and boarding here and each time we come back she is just so excited to be there! She always comes back home so happy and the staff here enjoy having her. They are always happy to tell me how she was while she was boarding/at daycare and point out her doggy friends. They accommodate to her needs, she doesn’t do well in kennels or in the suites (she is a stage 5 clinger and just wants to be around someone) so they accommodate her and don’t force her to stay in there. She also loves playing ball and the last time I picked her up they had given her her own ball that she just carried around all day. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. We had a terrible experience boarding our Chloe at another place, she came back a zombie and was obviously not happy to be there at all. I have not seen anything remotely close to our experience with the first place at paws play! They treat the pups like their own and give them the freedom to run around and play all day long. I am so happy that we found paws play!

Our pup Cedar has been coming since June 2022. The prices for daycare and boarding are very reasonable. They do great fun events and always show the dogs having a good time on Instagram. My dog loves coming back here each time. They know her well and greet her everytime she comes in. They have been great when she needed transportation and they were great calming my nerves the 1st time we boarded her. Just a good caring place to bring your dog.

We love Rainier Dog Resort! We can’t recommend them enough, our girl Cado loves the staff and her furry friends. You can tell they truly love animals and there is no doubt that she gets the best, most honest genuine care when she’s at day camp! They really know how to run an amazing spot. We are so happy to have found them! If you need a safe place to bring your pup, get them exercised, and tired out this is the spot! The picture updates are an added bonus and so fun to see throughout the day! Thanks staff for being extra amazing to our girl!

Rainier is amazing! The staff does such a great job at caring for our pup and bringing us peace of mind knowing he is having a blast while we’re gone. We love receiving pics of our dog playing in their amazing turf arenas. They are so creative at creating fun games for all the dogs, and it’s awesome to see our pup participating and having fun. Our pup struggles with reactivity but the staff handles him so well, even when he is on medications or new foods, they make sure he is well cared for! We can’t thank the amazing staff ant Rainier enough!

Our boy Blue lives his best life at Rainier Dog Resort. There is such personal attention, love and creativity in the way they play with him, sending us same-day photos of his fun, and a huge amount of variety in environment textures and play. The activities available to these dogs read like summer camp. They can do fetch, water play, ball pit, trampoline, free time with your friends, pupsicle snack, leashed meadow walks to visit cows, frisbee time, treat puzzles, cooling elevated dog beds, pretend play on several climbable themed structures like a jeep or pirate ship, there's outdoor time, indoor covered/shaded playtime. When there's a holiday, the dogs are included in the celebration. Blue gets Star Wars pictures of May the 4th, a quesadilla snack for Cinco De Mayo, paw print cards for Mother's Day. Such a joyful place where I know our dog is happily surprised, mentally stimulated, and loves to come back to. This place is silly, it's safe, and the staff's communication with us has been A+.

Barkley and Muffin enjoyed their time at Rainier Dog Resort & Spa. The staff was very friendly. They kept me abreast of how Barkley and Muffin were doing and even sent photos.

Took my 2 pups there for a free trial. I loved how they sent pictures and were very open to communicate. My dogs seemed to have so much fun. I loved this place because they have a huge indoor space and outdoor space as well. The other plus was it wasn't over crowed. Some places I have gone had 50 to 60 dogs with not many people watching over them. Look forward to having a safe fun place to have them stay when we go out of town.

We bring our Piper here for boarding. We drive an hour each way just to have her here because we know she is safe, comfortable, and actually being taken care of. Everyone is so friendly and she absolutely loves coming. They are great with communication, have always been so gracious with schedule changes, and we love getting the pictures of all the fun activities she gets to do while she is here! They really do go above and beyond!

We’ve boarded our dog here several times and will continue to. The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. They have lots of great options for boarding packages, an app they use to load pics of your pup, they are great about making sure healthy friendly dogs are being boarded. We always opt for a daily frozen Kong and a bath and nail trim upon departure. Our dog loves it here and we feel totally happy and confident leaving our dog here while we’re away.

We absolutely love the Muttro Pups! We have been using them for all our boarding needs for our three Italian greyhounds! They get to board in the same room and not in a cramped cage. I have such peace of mind that my dogs will be taken care of and happy! We have been repeat customers for 4 years!

They take great care of my crazy Shiba/husky mix! I also love that they are super responsive to their text check-ins, and send me cute pictures!

We boarded our 4 year old dog for the first time over the holidays after an unexpected change in our care plans. The staff was incredibly helpful in getting us the boarding help we needed with only a couple weeks’ notice at such a busy time of the year. I applaud their good communication (including updates and photos during her stay!), deep care for all animals they take in, and the willingness to help us out when we were in a major bind. We will definitely be boarding our dog here again! Highly recommend.

My two dogs, Lemon and Raspberry, have always had someone home to watch them while I go on work trips, and that changed this year after our relocation to Washington. I travel for work 3-8 times a year and I was worried about being able to find a suitable place for them since they have separation anxiety, are on the barkier side, and need prescription food. Muttropolitan found a place for my pups after a last minute Rover cancellation in October, and I took them back for a longer visit this month. These people go above and beyond for my dogs -- even sitting with them while they eat (this is the only way they actually eat when they're stressed). In addition to being reasonably priced, their facility accommodates them being boarded in the same kennel area, walks them multiple times a day, and is extremely punctual with sending updates and pictures upon request. My dogs are their normal silly selves when we get home, which shows me they are getting proper attention and they are minimally stressed while boarded. I am so glad that I found a place for my two babies. I highly recommend the Muttropolitan.

Our sweet Sunny girl has always gone to Leash the Muttro Pups anytime we needed boarding when we have to go out of town. We always come back to a very happy bean! It’s like a mini vacation for her, and we feel better knowing she’s really well cared for. What we appreciate the most is the photo text updates we get on how she’s doing, as well as the accommodations they had for her when she was still a pup and not spayed yet. 5/5 recommend! We've boarded our dog here a couple of times now for extended vacations, and he is always so happy and well cared for. Our dog is somewhat aggressive with other dogs, and we love that the Muttropolitan staff have experience with dogs with behavior issues and know how to handle and care for all the pets staying with them at any given time. It's a lot of extra work, and we appreciate the care and love that goes into his stay.

I have been bringing my dog here for over a year. I highly recommend them. They are so kind and loving to my dog. He can be a bit hyper and other dog daycare places have suggested I give him CBD before bringing him because he’s just “too much“ so I love that leash. The Metro pups takes him as he is. He’s always well cared for and now that they have a bigger space. I’m sure it will be even better.
