Margaux
My mum and I loved sitting for Margaux and taking care of Helios and Luna. Margaux's house was amazing with a comfy bed and everything we could possible need. Also great to see a fellow Disney and Tolkien fan :) Helios was immediately friendly with us, rubbing his head on our legs and wanting to play. Luna was a bit wary of us at first but once her brother had deemed us safe she was all for cuddles and lazing on our laps. We miss them already and would happily sit again. Harrogate is a beautiful town and very close to York.

Adam
Adam is organized, generous, and easy to communicate with.
Dallas is sweet and calm.
She does get excited for her walk, though. She seems like a puppy when she's out and about—a beautiful home and community. I highly recommend this stay.

Vicki
Beautiful house in stunning grounds just on the outskirst of Tenterden. The town was very nice and there's a steam railway station a short walk away. The hosts, David and Vicki were lovely and gave me a lovely lunch on arrival. Isla was a dream to look after, no trouble at all. I would definitely recommend this sit

A Wonderful Sit in Every Way for Fabulous Pets & People! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It’s been an absolute joy to look after Mars, Alby and Bonnie (plus the fish!) for Ren and her lovely family, wonderful hosts who really exude kindness and hospitality. The whole family made us feel so welcome, receiving us the night before they went on holiday, taking us on a local walk and sharing a lovely meal together.

As for the pets, well they are just the sweetest! Alby (the therapy dog) is full of light, so endearing, cuddly and caring with her big brown eyes! We found it so cute how she became our shadow, always walking right beside us. It’s impossible to not become attached to her! She’s great to take out in public to cafés, restaurants etc. Mars, the lovable elder dog is also a sweet cuddly teddy bear who we enjoyed walking in the countryside surroundings and equally lounging with on the sofa! We saw less of Bonnie, the beautiful independent cat apart from chats over breakfast and a few daily interactions. The fish of course were the least demanding of the pets with just a few feedings!

The home itself is especially lovely, well decorated with great energy and everything a sitter may need including a very comfortable bed, shower/ bath, desk for WFH and gorgeous garden perfect for playing ball with Mars and Alby! It is conveniently located in the pretty village of Tysoe right beside the village shop, post office, pub and tea room and with close proximity to the famous Stratford upon Avon which we enjoyed a day trip with Alby to!

We highly recommend this sit and would very happily return for repeat sits! Many heartfelt thanks to Ren and family and of course Mars, Alby and Bonnie (and fish!) for everything! 🙏💕

Darren
À truly blissful Xmas week! The two dogs, Connie and Robbie were an absolute delight to take care of. So well behaved in the house as well as on their walks. I really got very attached to them, I felt very connected to them both. As for Simba the cat, well that is the cutest creature I've ever come across. What a cuddle-monster! Those three are priceless, and doubtless the best compliment that can be given to the Bassett family. I did meet the family the evening before their departure and they were extremely welcoming and friendly. In the morning, Darren took the time to show me the ropes. The chickens were fun to manage as well and laid eggs every day. The house is lovely and felt like home.
I would do this petsit again any day. Well done to the Bassetts for setting up such a lovely home.

First, or review of the humans! :)
Mark and Kerin are a wonderful couple and generous hosts. They have a lovely home in Queen Creek, AZ, a new suburban area with lots of growth. They have a beautiful home very tastefully decorated, perfect for our tastes and needs. Kerin has put together a fantastic welcome guide that hs all of the information a petsitter would need! I was very impressed by the details that she included making our conversations / communications mainly about logistics and getting to know one another.
Now, our review of the dogs!
Jojo (5yo Boxer) and Doug (1yo Boxer) are such sweet, energetic, well-behaved dogs! This was our first experience with boxers and we love them. They both love retrieving their balls / bone, we played for hours. It was bit chilly =, but it was clear that Doug loves the pool. We work them out first thing in the morning which burned off some of their pent up energy which we found helpful to calm them thorough the warm midday temperatures. We then went for another round of ball in the late afternoon / evening, and then we settled in for an evening of dinner, movies / TV. This schedule seemed to work wonderfully for them.
Anyway, we would love to sit for Kerin, Mark, Jojo and Doug again, and recommend them if you are up for some active, loving dogs.
