We had the pleasure of house-sitting for Aimee and Tyler, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome gift of homemade jam from their garden, which added a special touch to our arrival. Communication was excellent; we sent them daily photos and videos, which made it easy to stay updated and connected. Aimee and Tyler also gave us detailed video call instructions before we arrived, ensuring we were well-prepared. The house, located on the outskirts of San Diego in a gated community. The neighborhood is family-friendly, bustling with families and children. We had convenient parking in the driveway and enjoyed access to the community pool, which was a wonderful amenity. Inside, the house was well-equipped and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the comfortable king bed ensured restful nights. At the end of our stay, the house got cleaned by a cleaning service which we appreciated. Taking care of the pets was a joy. Anne and Taylor, the cats, were playful and entertaining, and we loved exploring the backyard with them on their leashes. Rosie, the dog, was delightful on walks and a great companion during our stay. It was a joy to take her on longer walks outside of the community and giving her her bath was easy enough. It was fun to watch how Rosie played with the cats and how she put them in their place when they were up to something. Collecting mail daily and taking photos of it to send to Aimee and Tyler was easily managed and helped maintain good communication during our stay. Overall, our time at Aimee and Tyler's home was memorable and enjoyable. The combination of a well-appointed house, excellent communication, delightful pets, and thoughtful hosts made it a perfect house-sitting experience. We would return for another opportunity to stay and recommend it. We miss Rosie and cats already!
It was a great stay in Wassenaar. Dennis and Cathy are lovely, organised and made me feel very welcome upon arrival, the house is beautiful and I loved the kitchen table with a wonderful view of the garden. Wassenaar is great for walks in the woods and on the beach. Macy is a lovely senior dog, she sleeps a lot and if she wakes up then she need to be taken out right away. She loves to be wrapped in her blankets and if you scratch her ear. After her walk she gets a piece of banana and she jumps up and down like a puppy, it made my day! Thank you for letting me stay in your beautiful home!
We enjoyed our house/pet sit at Mitch and Linda's. They are a lovely welcoming couple. We met with them ahead of time to go over things and they left us with detailed instructions. Saco, Vanzetti and Puccini were loveable, gentle giants! They love attention and their walks around the fenced in property. The chickens were easy to care for and the eggs were delicious. The horses had their own caretaker but were fun to observe and the barn cat could even be seen every now and then. Agate mostly resided upstairs, but loved it when we visited with her. Their house and grounds are beautiful and walking trails were just out behind the gates. We would definitely sit here again and recommend it!
I had a wonderful time at Sabine's apartment. She was very welcoming, took time to show me around the area and recommend some places of interest to visit. I fell in love with her adorable cat Tigrette who is quite shy at the beginning, but very affectionate once she warms up to you. Sabine's apartment is very close to the train stations and shops which made it very convenient to get around. I would 100% recommend this sit and would love to come back to look after Tigrette again and again. Thanks Sabine!
My partner and I stayed in Nikki's lovely apartment in Erfurt for only a couple but we had the most fantastic time! The apartment is a very short walk from the train station and Nikki left very clear instructions on how to make our way inside. We were met with the adorable Rasputin, who was a little nervous to begin with (which makes sense!) but certainly warmed up to us throughout our stay. He was super easy to get along with and already knew his routine! Erfurt is a gorgeous city, with lots to see and do, and the apartment was perfectly located for us to explore! Nikki was always quick to respond to any questions we had and checked in to make sure things were going smoothly, we would certainly recommend this sit to others!
Stripe & Inki are two adorable cats, each with great personalities and they’ll steal your heart! Stripe came to us for pats and scratches straight away while Inki took a day to warm up. They were both extremely cuddly, sitting on our laps at night time watching TV and sleeping on the bed/bedroom with us. It was hard saying goodbye to them! Carly & Rob were very thorough with their instructions & easy to communicate with. They have a lovely & welcoming home and everything was set for our stay, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend this housesit to cat lovers.
