We had the best time during our stay, especially thanks to Heike and Thomas's hospitality! They prepared a traditional dish for us the night before their departure and gave us a tour with plenty of time to learn the needs and expectations during our stay. Heike provided a detailed Welcome guide with lots of tips and tricks about the area. As you can see from the pictures, their home is lovely, spacious & relaxing. The cats- Antoine and Cleo- come and go as they please and are content as long as there is fresh food in the bowl and a have few pets here and there. Can't recommend enough!
Sylvia is great host and goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is great. Suzu is very quite and loving. Saaj is playful and will be your best friend. Easy to care for and a pleasure to spend time with. Great home in a nice neighborhood which is close to accommodations for your stay.
We had a few weeks with Bonnie and she was an easy and fun cat to spend time with. She was very loving for a few minutes in the evening then settled down for lap time as we watched TV. She loves to play, especially in the morning but for most of the afternoon she likes her alone time for napping. The house has a great location, doesn’t take long to get to Portland when needed and Milwaukie has some nice food carts and restaurants. Inside of the home is comfy with lots of light. Nick and Kate were easy to communicate with and answered any questions that came up.
Caring for Mochi at Kat and Joey’s lovely little place in Crested Butte was a lovely experience! Their place is located either walking or cruiser bike distance from the historic town center. Mochi was initially aloof and apprehensive but then became such a loving, happy little buddy. She loved her walks, fetching the ball, riding in the car—anything to pal around with me. The paved bike path is just 30 seconds from the house so no need to drive anywhere. The town also has an excellent transit (bus) system that’s FREE! Kat and Joey’s house is very comfortable and their neighbors are quiet and friendly. I would LOVE to come visit Mochi again!
Freddie is such a good dog. At first he is cautious, but after the first walk, you will gain all his love. He really likes to be cuddled and to play with his toys. Also he adores to go for a walk. The places around the neighborhood are amazing with beautiful views so we loved it too. His owners are really good people, they left everything perfectly organized for us to feel comfortable and also welcomed us with a very special gift from our home country! We really appreciated the time spent with Fred. thank you, Eli & Dante.
We had such a fun day looking after Monkey. He is such a ball of energy! There is a lovely park just down from the apartment. Andrea and her partner are also lovely, they made us feel comfortable in their home.
