Helen and Guy are super friendly and welcoming, they have a lovely family. Wombat, Percy and Cheddar were incredibly sweet pets to hang around with. Wombat is big and very sweet. He loves to hang around with you on the couch. Percy and Cheddar are rescue cats and they need some time to get used to you but once you do especially Percy can be very affectionate. Helen and Guy's house is very comfortable, clean and feels like a little paradise in a big city. There is a park right in front of the house where Wombat loves to hang out with his girlfriend. The neighborhood is safe and feels like a tight-knit community. All in all a fantastic experience, thank you Helen and Guy!
What a lovely sit! Sophie was a Super host! She picked us up from the airport with open arms welcoming us into her lovely home. She is truly such a lovely funny kind soul to be around. We truly loved getting to know her and felt comfortable the moment we met. She even showed me around town the next day to let me know all the local spots! Felix & Juno were the sweetest cats you’ll ever meet. Felix loves his cuddles as much as his food and Juno a bit more shy is always meowing her way into getting more food. She needs her protein for all her beauty sleep she gets during the day. They are both outdoor cats that enjoy their balance of outdoor time and indoor snuggles. We loved coming home to them waiting for us at the door steps. We truly felt the love from these fur babies and highly recommend this sit! The area is beautiful and a key location for visiting all the top spots; would definitely reccomend getting a car to take advantage of the full experience. Sophie provided us with so many local recommendations which was super nice! Thank you again for trusting in us and we hope to see you in the future !
This was a great sit. Beth and Andy took us out for a lovely meal upon our arrival and gave us all the information we might need. Henry, Herschel and Stella were the sweetest and so much fun. Given that Henry is a Great Dane, it's an experience when he tries to sit on your lap. All three are very well trained and know their trigger words. The house is beautiful and the view is stunning. We heartily recommend this sit.
Steve and Tracey have a wonderful little space in a great location. The area was wonderful for evening walks and the house is immaculate. The kitties are adorable. Alfie is very chill and love to cuddle in the evening. Buddy is still a kitten and loves to be a bit more adventurous so he needed a closer watch, but we didn’t have any major problems. We had a fun time and it was so nice to just relax by the pool for a few days. There are a lot of dogs in the area so I had to use earplugs at night but that was the only inconvenience I experienced.
This is such a delightful special place! So many walks to explore right from the house. We enjoyed several coastal walks and other recommended places. It's a quiet, rural part of Wales where neighbors are very friendly. You'll need a car to get around. The dogs loved their walks, are super affectionate and mind well. The horses are beautiful, sweet and easy to take care of. We got attached to all of them! Helen and Paul are very easy-going and wrote out info needed. We had a chance to be hosted for dinner the night before they left and a tour around the property to know where everything was. There were other folks who were available to help as well. Rys is there working a couple days a week and walked me through making my own lap harp, which was so appreciated. He's a great resource for the area and if any questions come up. All in all, a lovely place to spend time and easy to recommend to others. Thank you Helen and Paul!
We really enjoyed our stay and the cats were lovely. The food dispensers were so useful! The house is in a great location and we found the transport links were great to get to the city and we could get around Manchester really easily. Overall it was a very relaxed sit and we enjoyed it a lot, thanks for having us :)
