Mariana hospitality doesn’t have limits. One of the very best and favorite Pet & Housesits by far. I felt so welcome the moment I called her on the phone. The Communication with Mariana was great. She solved every little issue which was only one when we almost ran out of dog food the day before she returned home. I texted her about the food and in 15 minutes there was a delivery of Fresh pets dog food at the front door. When first arrived to their home, I was quickly greeted with loving licks & tail wagging by her adorable fur babies Willow & Pixel. Like most dogs they were curious and excited to meet me as I was to meet them. We connected and just like that I became Auntie Petsitter. She warn me Willow was a drama queen, and likes all the attention. As she wanted me to pet her and share my love with her and only her and then I could pet Pixel. Mariana showed me around her lovely home and the very first thing she said was help yourself to any food or anything in the house. She said I have Fish, Steaks, salmon you’re welcome to eat it please eat whatever you like. I said no thanks, I will bring my own food as usually. However Mariana Insisted that I eat her food and it was so Delicious. Who does this? I’m learning now that’s its not the norm. It was greatly appreciates & a very generous jester. Mariana set the bar high as some host even write in their house rules, don’t eat our food any of it. Not here she said my house is your house. Have anything you need or want. I felt so conscious I even texted her while she was out of the country and said are you sure I can keep eating your delicious healthy food. She said of course it’s only food I will get more and I appreciate you taking care of my babies. That’s real classy, selfless and kind.  I’m saying this to say before she even showed me how to feed her dogs she said help yourself to the food in the fridge. This says a lot about a person when they make sure you eat before their pets, Mariana is that kind of host. compassionate, giving, considerate, thoughtful, loving and a Spectacular host. She didn’t smother you with text worrying about her babies. Not a lot of rules, she must have felt confident they were in good hands with me as their sitter. I did daily photos & video logs updates. Which she appreciated. Let me show you my food in the kitchen. What a wonderful way to treat a sitter that going to care for your pets for 2 to 3 weeks. Next she sharing the dog daily food routine,  Part Dry, part Fresh pet, they love fresh pet then their other wants and needs just walks and water k play time. I enjoyed seeing them come running for meals. Make any sound in the kitchen and they come running Lol. A quick tour of the house which was the guest room and workout room. Please help yourself to my Gym, yard ect. Again my house is your house. I already washed clean sheets for you to make yourself at home. Whenever I texted her she quickly reply like ordering dog food in seconds, or the time I couldn’t figure out how to use the french press coffee machine Lol. Texted right back. You will not find more sweet dogs then Pixie & Willow. They are very, fun, loving funny & well trained dogs. They listen well, follow instructions and are a Dream to care for. Willow loves her toys and to play Ball, she will bring you the ball and want you to throw it over and over and over. She also loves laying her he’s on you lap for movie nights. Pixel likes affection as well just a little more chilled. Very loving and affectionate also. It was so funny Pixel the big one would try to climb onto my lap like her sister however Pixel I couldn’t fit. I truly enjoyed playing you tube pet TV for them. We enjoyed movie nights, with popcorn walks, laughs and even had dinner together most nights. Did I say how well trained they are? We enjoyed walking in the Neighborhood. They know all the commands, come, sit, food, & walk, they are also very well housebroken and never not once had a accident in the house. It was my pleasure to sit with them for almost 3 weeks! Also taking care of the plants & feeding them Plant food. I looked forward to returning to them some days.  If you get this opportunity to sit for them I promise you life will be changed. Lily and Dan were very welcoming to myself and Ciara! They live in Northcote which is only a 30 minute train into the town centre and is also an interesting area in itself to explore. Lily was great with communication, getting the sit confirmed within a day and provided all the information we needed. Jett the border collie / Kelpie was the best sit we've done! She's good natured, patient and affectionate, she'll be well behaved and quickly develop a bond with you! 100% recommend and hopefully will get to meet them again someday!
I absolve loved this house-sit. Catherine welcomed me with fresh-baked croissants. She’s an all around inspiring woman. M&M are so expressive, fun, and loving. The house has super chill vibes. It’s close to walking trails both directions. The trolley at the end of the street takes you straight to downtown. Durango has a ton to do - you definitely won’t run out of things to do! 10/10 great stay
Lovely relaxing sit in a pleasant and safe part of Basingstoke. Steph was welcoming and helpful and ensured I had everything I needed. Very enjoyable, and nice kitties :)
I had a great time with Cosi and Pruna. They were so much fun! House was in a great location, close to everything but still quiet. Oriana and Arnau made me feel very welcome and provided excellent notes for the sit. If you love interactive cats I’d definitely recommend this sit!
