We got to meet Elaine and the pets early before she left on her trip! That was a great thing to do!! Elaine had everything laid out for us with great instructions! She also bought us breakfast for the week and had great snacks!! Ava warmed up to us by the second day, started cuddling and sleeping with us! The pet care was very easy! The neighborhood was safe and easy to navigate! This would be a great sit for anybody!
Had a great time watching Skippy, Daisy, Lucky and fish. Both dogs have very distinct personalities. At Skippy’s old age he knows what he wants. If he doesn’t want to walk at all or walk in a certain direction you’ll know. But if there is a dog to chase he suddenly has a 5th gear that he was hiding. But if you carry him to the turnaround spot of the walk, he knows it’s all down hill from there and walks back just fine. Also sleeping at night with Skippy at your feet on the bed was never an issue. He would sleep forever there without moving. Daisy is always eager to see you. She’s up on her hind legs jumping around. And when you finally get closer she likes to rest the side of her head on your leg, arm or whatever she is up against. Very sweet dog that will make you love her within seconds. I found that a couple minutes of fetch after the walk makes her content to relax or any time she wants to bark at something passing by it means she’s down for a little fetch with her many toys. I spent most of my time staying at the house reading and doing work for my 10 day stay. Once you get accustomed to the flow of their day and what their bark means within the context of the day, it was pretty easy going. Lucky gets two shots a day, morning and night but it was very easy. Lucky was accustomed to it so no intense reactions. Lucky pretty much sleeps all day and isn’t around you much. But by the end of the week Lucky spent evenings on the couch with me and the dogs. It’s a great part of LA close to most everything you would want to see. Working with Bridget and Peter was easy and great communication throughout. Full kitchen for whatever you want to cook. Also I loved the layout of the house with the kitchen and dining area open out to the vaulted ceilings of the living room. Awesome record collection made for some very mellow evenings. Their alarm system was easy to use and also gave nice peace of mind while sleeping upstairs. Overall it was a great experience.
We spent a wonderful 3 weeks in White Rock staying at Elizabeth's beautiful house. Leo is a loving dog full of energy. He is well trained and easy to take care of. There are many trials in the area and Leo is always happy to have a car ride and enjoy a long walk! Recommended!
Everything about this sit was faultless The house is stunning and the family left it beautifully for us along with instruction videos sent previously so we knew how to use everything in the house. The location is great with lots of beautiful places to visit along with lovely cafes and restaurants. What I loved most about the sit was their dachshund olive we all bonded with her straight away and so enjoyed our time with her. She is the sweetest little dog, so affectionate and well behaved and great company to take out for the day or for walks. She loved saying hello to other dogs and was fantastic on the lead and in the car. We were really sad to say goodbye to her when it was time to go! Thank you Claire, Olive and family for welcoming us into your home we would be very happy to come again and would definitely recommend this sit to others 🥰
We absolutely loved looking after Saffie, Miami, and the ducks at Miriams fabulous home in Ware. Three weeks just wasn't long enough and we could have spent the whole summer looking after her beautiful garden. Saffie was a joy to care for and we will miss her terribly. She is such a gentle, easy-going dog and we felt comfortable with her immediately. Miriam and Piers were so welcoming and made us feel like old friends rather than housesitters and we would recommend sitting for them unconditionally. A wonderful experience.

We had Rara watch our two puppy shih Tzu‘s for an entire week while we went to the shore. It was nervous to leave them with anyone because they were so young. He assured me over and over, improved herself to be a knowledgeable and caring dog sitter. She did a wonderful job of making them feel loved! We received daily photos of them playing in the yard and napping with their woobies. We were especially comforted bc Rara has been at our local veterinary clinic for years!! I can’t say enough good things about Weather or Not. As a former vet tech, I am admittedly extremely picky about the caretakers I choose for my dog. I am happy to report my dog has always been happy, healthy, and very well taken care of here. We’re given frequent updates and pictures and Lisa isn’t afraid to reach out to ask about something if she isn’t sure, which is such an important quality to have! She takes the utmost care and always wants to make sure she’s making the best choices for our girl. We moved out of state a couple of years ago and still make the drive all the way back here when we’re going away because we don’t trust anyone else with our girl. Simply the best!!

Lisa and Mike give off the distinct impression that they care for each and every dog like it's their own. My wife and I moved away from Delaware years ago but still make the hour-long drive when we travel because we don't want to leave our pup anywhere else. Whenever she's there we get frequent updates and pictures showing us how happy, healthy, and comfortable she is, which very much puts our minds at ease while we're gone.
My dogs and I had a wonderful experience with Weather or Not. Our primary care giver , Becca, provided dedicated and dependable service. Communication from her and her partner, Maggie, was consistent and detailed. They even included photos of my dogs while I was away. My dogs are spoiled and they can be difficult, especially the senior dog, who requires daily medication. My concerns were put to rest immediately with Becca's attention to detail and her messages. Great service. I highly recommend this service.
Weather or Not is outstanding! We have used Lisa's company for pet taxi, dog walking, and overnight boarding. Every service has been outstanding. Our dogs absolutely adore Lisa...so much so, that our pup, Piper, was totally happy to trot off for overnight boarding without even looking back once when we dropped her off. She went on to have a fun filled weekend. I have great comfort knowing that we have a team to help with dog support when we need it. Again, outstanding!
Lisa and her team are the best! They regularly walk my Rambo a couple of times a week. Rambo has also been boarded at Lisa's house which is extremely dog friendly with a great yard! I trust Weather or Not Dog Walkers fully! Rambo so excited when he is with Lisa or one of her team members. Lisa is super responsible. I love the daily updates and pictures she sends after a visit. I love this place! More importantly, my puppy loves this place (quite possibly more than home). They’re so great to my baby and to us. The facility is well staffed, clean and my puppy is safe and supervised. Can’t say enough good things! Be prepared for lots of sleep after daycare. JB is always wiped out from all of the fun!
People are everything and Dogtopia has the best. Everyone is so nice, qualified, knowledgeable and caring. Our Rita loves it there and we have no worries when we drop her off!
I would not recommend this doggie daycare anymore. My dog Finley had been going to this location for 14 years - back when Helen was the owner. I felt like she was taking care of my dog like her own. I saw the negative changes with the most recent ownership changes - much higher prices and the manager was not very friendly. Finley was under their care in May while I was on vacation. He was an older dog with cancer. He passed away while there. They took him to the emergency vet that I had requested while I traveled home. 3 days later I received an email from “Dogtopia of Fairfax” - not signed by a person - saying they were sorry of his passing and they had his belongings for me to pick up after I pay for his stay. They did refund the last day. I was in shock to see that a service related business would continue to charge when a dog has passed away. I went to pick up his things and pay what I owed - the manager said the Regional or District Manager is the person who made her charge it. I sent him 2 emails about it and had NO response from him!!! Terrible way to run a business. I then reached out to Dogtopia on Instagram to send them a DM because I couldn’t find any other way to contact them. A few weeks later they reached out, were very sorry about the situation - they then contacted the location and had them refund my money because I should not have been charged. Just be warned that this Dogtopia does not have the small home feel anymore.
Would never recommend Dogtopia anymore. They have gotten WAY too expensive for the service they provide. Staff is friendly enough, but they will put the bigger dogs in with the little dogs. And these bigger dogs are very hyper and playful around the little ones. My dogs also come back sick more often than not after boarding. Would not recommend.
Wonderful experience, building is secure and clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, all dogs are tested for temperament with other dogs and placed in room with dogs similar in size. There are food/snack options available for reasonable prices or bring your own food, they have a fridge and microwave to warm it up. The play rooms are frequently cleaned, supervised, and there are cameras to watch how your doggie is doing. Best of all is my dog (which has separation anxiety) had a blast and didn’t want to leave! Dogs get to have a play day, learn social skills, are safe and protected, provided nap time and meals in a clean safe environment. I feel safe leaving my dog here and knowing they will have fun. The outside play area has small dog pools, splash pads and other various things to do!
I would definitely recommend Dogtopia. My dogs love going there for daycare. The staff is friendly, caring and interactive with my dogs and they love them! I check in on them during the day on the cameras, and they are always having a good time and are tired out when they get home.
Oh wow! My dog hasn’t been this happy since he was a puppy! He didn’t want to come home with me today. Jess and her team already feel like a part of the family - they keep him busy playing all day, he is fed and so happy. Thank you Dogtopia in Wilmington, we are so lucky to have found you.

My dog Sadie goes here for regular baths and nail clipping. She is always happy to go so I know they treat her well. She comes out smelling and looking well groomed and wagging her tail! The staff is always friendly and genuinely care for your furry baby!
Our Dalmatian, Neuhaus loves his visits so much when he sees me packing up his food & toys the whimpering begins. He really enjoys the play time with his friends and we love the Pet Cam! It makes our vacation less stressful knowing he is having fun in a safe loving environment.

Over the past few years I boarded my dogs at Best Friends for weekend or week long stays. Having the opportunity to “check in” via video is a terrific addition to the boarding service. My dogs have always been happy when they realized they were going to spend time at Best Friends. Their reaction as we entered the doors made me feel they had a good time during previous visits. I highly recommend Best Friends!
Staff was welcoming as soon as I walked into the door; pleasant, greeting, and top shelf hospitality. Tabby, our calico cat, was not stressed or scared as she entered the cat boarding area. Will definitely use again!
My two golden doodles were well taken care as first time boarders by very experienced staff that were highly responsive to the individual needs of my dogs. Planning, drop off, and pick up were well coordinated and timely. I will definitely be using Best Friends Pet Hotel in the future and highly recommend their services.

Our pooch loves Best Friends like it's her second home. We've been boarding our dog here for about 3 years and the staff has always been phenomenal. Everyone is very friendly and it's a very welcoming environment. I admittedly get nervous when my dog and other dogs "meet," but she always does great at group play at Best Friends. I don't know what kind of magic they work but I get a little bit of a "training session" myself each time I chat with the staff at Best Friends when I pick her up. They're all great people and willing to provide helpful tips.
From my experience Best Friends always keeps our dog happy safe and well fed during his trips there. Anytime I have a concern or question or change in schedule they always try to accommodate. They love seeing Charlie’s face when he arrives and their new groomer has bonded with him which is not easy to do!!!
Best Friends is our ultimate doggy destination! My German shepherd Moon is so excited to attend the day camp at Best Friends, he practically pulls me through the door. Moon has such a blast playing with his furry friends and the staff who clearly adore dogs, and always comes home happy and ready to conk out for a well-deserved nap. And thanks to the clean environment - NO doggy daycare funk!! We have also used Best Friends for longer stays, and Moon always comes back the same tired, happy pup. Knowing that he is having fun and being well cared for allows us to relax and enjoy our time away.
Jack and his associate did a fantastic job looking in on my cat while I was away for a week. She is used to my almost constant presence, so it is hard for her when I am not there. But, she adapted to Jack and Michelle very well, which helped her to be less anxious. They are consummate professionals, and I would recommend them to anyone. This is my second experience with their great service, and I will be back!
My wife and I have a cat who, while adorable, is rambunctious to say the least. He's friendly around people but is picky about play and how he is petted. And I would certainly hate to leave him alone! But Jack, Michelle, and Asher take such great care of him that I've been coming back ever since we first tried out Your Pet's Best Friend while we went on a vacation. I particularly appreciate the communication I receive--daily texts, videos, and questions about what to do in certain scenarios tell me that my little furry guy is being taken care of each day he is visited. I also really enjoy that during the warmer months, Jack will water plants. Thanks to him we had some very successful tomato yields! I also appreciate that traditional peak times--Thanksgiving/Christmas/etc--are not a problem for checking up. Last minute availability is also not a problem; I've given Jack sometimes as little as 24 hours notice and he's been able to accommodate watching our cat. Jack was exceedingly professional at our first meeting, and he asks all the questions you would hope that someone watching your pet would ask. You can't go wrong if you need a sitter for the day, for a weekend, or even for a month (all lengths of time I've used him for). I highly recommend if you're looking for someone to care for your furry friends.
I have been using Jack for midday visits to my home since January of 2018. I remember when he came over for the first time to meet me and my animals. I was interviewing a few different people, and Jack was the one that exuded confidence and professionalism. I felt like I could trust him with my two rambunctious pit bulls, which required a higher degree of responsibility. The choice was pretty easy. Not only does he provide great care to the resident dogs, he is always accommodating to the many senior foster dogs that I have had over the years. He texts me after every visit, and his narratives are detailed and frequently humorous. He is proactive about holidays and asks if he is needed or not, and always gives plenty of notice for his vacations. I have no reservations about recommending Jack for pet care needs.

I should be embarrassed to admit this, but since I don't have children, it's fair to say I treat my dogs as if they were my kids. Jack has been there for all our dog walking and pet-sitting needs. If I'm working late, it's comforting knowing our pups are getting a walk and fresh air during the day. Jack's fantastic and has always been flexible if we need a sitter for the day or overnight. Jack's affordable, quick to respond (even when I have a last-minute request), and he takes his work seriously. You can tell his love of animals is genuine and he provides little notes and updates on our pups (who took care of business, where they went) and is reliable and trustworthy. My dogs love him!
