Lorraine
House sitting for Lorraine and Brett was a pleasure. The house was beautiful and in such a lovely location, close to the beach and cafes & restaurants. Dolly & Max were the best behaved pets that we have ever met. They came when called, they put themselves to bed, they waited patiently while their food was prepared. We would happily sit for them again.
Marcoola Beach is a hidden surprise with long stretches of beach for walking , patrolled swimming close by and a convenient surf club.

This sit was a little piece of heaven. House was 100 yards from Sunset beach. This is an inland beach on the protected side of the Soldier Point peninsula. Very peaceful. If you want the surf, drive to the other side of the peninsula (15 minutes). We had daily visits from the koalas. It’s a bird watching paradise. Kangaroos on the golf course.
I’m a large dog lover. Saying goodbye to these three little chihuahuas was a heartbreaker. If they don’t steal your heart, you’re a better man than I.
Greg and Toby were great hosts. Helped us get to and from our transportation (train station and car rental center). The whole Port Stephen’s area (Soldier Point, Salamander Bay, Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay) was very relaxing, many things to do options. Great restaurants or cook at home. Would come back here anytime.

Lisa
Lisa's place was a great sit! Fig is ADORABLE! And very easy going. He is sweet and paws at you for pets. He is very low maintenance, but likes to be your buddy. Bainbridge Island was a great spot to spend time in and Lisa was very accomodating and communicative. I would highly recommend this sit to others that get the chance!

Susan
Staying at Susan and Ed's was a lovely relaxing experience. Cooper and Bentley are well trained calm dogs with wonderful unique personalities and you can't help falling in love with them after a few days.

The location is very quiet with plenty of countryside walks where you can take the dogs, always with great views of the Alps. It's a little difficult to get around so I would recommend having a car, especially to get to larger supermarkets.

The station is within walking/cycling distance though if you want to get into Geneva. So is the lake which is a beautiful place to swim - definitely a highlight of my trip.

The house has everything you need and Susan and Ed had left plenty in the fridge and basement pantry. There's even a wine cellar!

Tim
Tim’s family was extremely warm, welcoming, and kind. Pepper and Marshmallow are a hoot! Adorable, need lots of attention, and super high energy- as to be expected from a pair of young doggies. We enjoyed our time with them in their lovely home. Would absolutely housesit for them again and highly recommend to other sitters. 🤙🏼
