Katie and Kevin did such a wonderful job caring for our dog Evie and looking after our apartment! They were extremely friendly and it was easy to tell they had experience with dogs. We really appreciated their flexibility and the updates they provided us throughout their stay. We would definitely have them stay at our place again and recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.

Kaye
I really enjoyed my dogsit looking after the sweet and lovable Lola. I only stayed for the weekend but Kaye's house is really clean and modern and easily accessible to amenities and central Bristol by car or public transport (Metro bus stop is within 5minute walking distance). Lola is very excitable when you meet her but quickly calms down. She just loves sitting on the sofa with you and hanging out. She is good on the lead and sleeps downstairs at night. Plenty of walks and parks nearby so I didn't need to take her in the car.
Lola was as good as gold and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house sit.

Dianne's home was cozy and comfortable. She gave clear instructions for Dixie's care as well as the ins and outs of the area. She was very welcoming when we arrived and introduced us to her neighbors for additional support if we needed it.
Dixie was so fun to look after and bond with. She quite a talker. She'll play hard to get at first but warms up after a few ear and chin scratches. She's really very sweet and likes to be in on what's hapoening.

Janet
I thoroughly enjoyed pet sitting for Janet. She was absolutely delightful and incredibly accommodating. Her home is cozy and conveniently located in a safe neighborhood with nearby shopping options. I especially loved the extra deep bathtub.

Janet has three pets - two gorgeous sheepdoodles named Lady and Gemma, and a very affectionate kitty named Spice. You will get stopped anywhere you go with the dogs by people telling you how pretty they are. The dogs are incredibly loving and enjoy sleeping with you, either on the bed or nearly on top of you. They are friendly and well-behaved, with Gemma occasionally getting excited in a happy and playful way, craving attention. Lady, as her name suggests, is an absolute charm. Overall, they are very easy to care for, requiring some playtime in the form of ball throwing or a walk to burn off their energy. They have a doggy door for their various needs throughout the day, which makes things easy.

Spice, the cat, is a joy to be around. She usually spends her time napping in the backyard. Whenever she wants food, she lets you know with her adorable meowing. I particularly appreciated how she would sleep either at the foot of the bed or curled up on my chest, purring. She is an incredibly sweet girl and has the softest fur imaginable. She will great you as soon as you arrive and will be friendly from the start.

Overall, my experience with this pet sit was wonderful. I highly recommend it to others.

Robert
This is a 5-star sit for so many reasons. In part, Bob and Kathy have been on TrustedHousesitters for many years and it shows. Let’s start with Bob being amazing at promptly and considerately connecting with applicants for sitter selection. He could write a training guide for all owners.

If you look back over the years at the feedback from sitters, and the sitter reviews by Bob, you will see consistently outstanding reviews. That comes from their thorough vetting of all applicants. Add to that the fact that from beginning to end Bob and Kathy focussed on assuring that my visit would be enjoyable. They were considerate, caring, and generous, and showed their appreciation in so many ways. My thanks to them both for all that they did.

The home is clean and comfortable and I found the guest room bed to be extremely comfortable. The home is set in an excellent village-like neighbourhood. A wide variety of restaurants and a supermarket are within easy walking distance. Many sitters will also appreciate knowing that the TV remote is so simple to manage. For many sitters, that is one of the biggest challenges!

Bob and Kathy made sure I had contact information for two neighbours, in case I had any concerns. Both neighbours were friendly and welcoming, without being intrusive. Bob and Kathy were also prompt in replying to my texts, and we kept in regular friendly contact throughout. They assured me that they were available at all times and that was the case.

As for Molly, well she is quite a character. She is relatively low maintenance, only requiring a short morning walk around a few streets. Although this allows a sitter plenty of free time, I can assure you that Molly also really appreciates company. As I am a homebody, I think this type of sitter, or someone who works from home, would suit her well.

I would not hesitate to recommend this sit and would be happy to return, if available.
