Such a great dig and family to sit for. Skye is a gorgeous affectionate soul who was my constant companion! So many beautiful places to walk locally but also a short drive away. Skye is obedient, great with other dogs and very easy going. Lovely house to stay in, and I was made to feel very at home.
Carol was a generous and thoughtful host! I was able to meet her and Daisy ahead of my house sit and she was very conscientious about preparing me for an exuberant welcome. (Daisy loves new friends!) Carol’s home is clean, cozy and comfortable and I felt well oriented with the additional printed welcome manual she provided. She thoughtfully placed hospitable touches that made me feel incredibly cared for even though I was there to provide care. Daisy is easy to manage and has a sweet disposition. It was a joy to get to know her during my stay.
Todd’s house is in a quiet neighborhood conveniently located near shopping, the beach, and Santa Barbara. There is a very nice kitchen for the cooks, and a lovely patio to sit and contemplate nature, or read a book. Toby is the ideal kitty, hanging out to watch TV, and a fearless hunter of the laser pointer. I hope to housesit for Todd again!
We had a wonderful time watching Ruby, Shirley, and Laverne. The kitties gave us the best cuddles and we really enjoyed taking Ruby on walks, playing fetch in the beautiful back yard, and cooking in their gorgeous kitchen. Cheyanne and Kevin are the sweetest people.
I very much enjoyed my stay in Miriam's flat in Canterbury. The city has so much to offer and the flat is a short walk into the city centre. George and Maya were great to hang out with, friendly and curious and happy to sit on my lap when watching tv in the evening. The flat is comfortable and has everything you might need. All in all, a lovely stay.
I had a very good experience sitting for Sharon. Her pets-Olympia and Napa warmed to me quickly and it was easy to stay with their daily routines even though I was away at a convention part of the day. Giving affection and playtime always connects me with these special family members. Her home was spacious and comfortable with every convenience you could wish for, top quality! Having a pool to jump into was a lifesaver in the recent Albuquerque heat! And I so appreciate her support in my needs to attend the convention all week. A very pleasant experience. I would return or recommend to anyone else.
