I had a wonderful time at Nina and Stephen's with their cat Moglet :). Moglet is an affectionate cat that takes a some time to warm up to strangers. She was unfriendly to me for the first few days. But as she became comfortable around me, she gradually turned into a sweet little baby who loved sitting next to me getting head/chin rubs. She's very low-maintenance, usually just naps upstairs and would come down when she wants food or attention. Nina and Stephen are great hosts who made me feel very welcomed in their home. They even left me some Christmas presents :). Communication with Nina was easy before, during, and after the sit. The apartment is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. It was very clean, spacious, bright, and well-equipped with everything I needed during my stay. Overall, I couldn't ask for a better sit. And I hope to come back for future sits :).
Tina's flat in Paris is in a great location, close to the metro, rental bike stations and areas of interest. It's also perfectly located far enough away from crowded areas. Though the flat is small it was comfortable (including the bed) and had everything we needed for our two week stay. We had a great time looking after her little kitty Hecate for two weeks. She was so fun to play with and became quite the snuggler after only a few days. Tina communicated well and provided useful information and recommendations for restaurants and cafes. The building has a secure entrance and we only saw two other people in the building the whole time we were there. We recommend this sit and would love to come back and look after Hecate again.
We had such a wonderful time caring for Holmes in Portsmouth! He is such a sweet and funny dog and his passion for chasing pebbles on the beach is unmatched. Becca was so kind and consistent in all her communication and set us up to enjoy the perfect weekend getaway in their lovely home! Would wholeheartedly recommend this sit to others 😊 thank you Becca & George, we miss Holmes already!
I really loved this sit. Abby and Zoey were so sweet and loving, and the area was wonderful for our walks. Deb was a wonderful host and communication was great. I already miss them.
Buz was an absolute pleasure to look after - I missed him as soon as I left! He loves his toys (especially his red key), a snuggle on the couch & is very adamant on which path he wants to take on his walk. Jay was very welcoming and has everything you need in the home. Great communication- I’ll definitely visit again!
Housesitting for Margot and Kerrick was great! They were both very generous and easy to communicate with - always responsive and helpful. Their home was lovely and in a great location! Unfortunately, while I was there, one of the cats, Jelly Bean, pooped on the bed in the guest room. Margot and Kerrick were super apologetic about this! She's never done this for a house sitter before, so it's possible I just got unlucky. After that, I simply kept the bedroom door closed when I was away, and there weren't any additional problems. So I just wanted to mention that did happen, but it's easily preventable! Don’t let it stop you from accepting this sit. If you'll be occupied in another room for a while or you'll be away from the house, just keep the bedroom door closed. You won't have any trouble at all. Other than that, the cats were wonderful! Any cat lover would enjoy how loving and snuggly they all are! They're the sweetest babies. They'll hop right in your lap and purr like crazy.
