Wendy was the perfect pet sitter. From the outset her communication and reliability gave me confidence that I was leaving my cat in capable hands. We met before the sit which was really helpful. During the sit Wendy let me know that my cat was content and when I returned home the house was spotless. Wendy had even left a lovely little vase of flowers for me... and had stripped the bed and put the washing machine on! Absolutely no hesitation in recommending Wendy.

Martin & Christine

Once again Martin and Christine did a fantastic job. As it was the third time they sat for me Chipie and Sasha immediately recognised and greeted them. I left two very chilled cats in very good hands. I received daily photos and updates of my babies throughout their stay. Martin and Christine could only do the first week of my 6 week holiday so the pass over between pet sitters happened without me being physically there. The first thing the next pet sitters did was to send me a message asking me to thank Martin and Christine for leaving the house in immaculate condition, washing the towels and changing the bedding! I know I can rely on Martin and Christine 100% and they can come back whenever they want.

Anita

Anita was amazing as house sitter / dog carer whilst I went on holiday for a week. She kindly came to visit for a couple of hours a few weeks prior to my going on holiday to introduce herself and her sweet dog Benji, (who is so easy going with both dogs and humans), to my dog Nick Nack and they got along just fine. I felt instantly that Anita was kind, trustworthy, calm and reliable and I invited her partner Liam to join her and Benji for a couple of days, if he could get the time off from work, which he did. Regular photos were sent to me and I could see Nick Nack was having the time of his life on walks and playing with Liam, Anita and little Benji. I felt very relaxed on my holiday knowing that he was being so well loved and cared for. On top of that I returned to a spotless house - I could not have asked for more! Thank you Anita, Liam and Benji!

Beatrix

I marked all categories with five stars because it is truly deserved, for example, in terms of 'self-sufficient' I was trying to recall which bin collection week it was and Beatrix calmly said that she checks the local council site anyway to be sure. I genuinely have no concerns when Beatrix come to stay as I am sure that the pets are cared for with more dilligence than when we are in charge. Thank you Beatrix for facilitating our week's holiday and we look forward to catching up with you in October.

Gregory

Gregory did a tremendous job looking after Floki for 2 weeks. Even an added complication of Floki gaining a small puncture wound on his paw before I went away saw him take it in his stride to look after Floki. There was just the right amount of communication before and whilst away, and I came back to a very happy and health dog. The flat was left clean and tidy. I would give Gregory a glowing report - but then I don't want him to be too busy in the future either for my future trips away ;-)

Sarah was a great sitter for our cats. The house was as tidy as we left it. She was self sufficient and reliable. Thank you for taking care of Monkey and Blue! We recommend her to anyone to take care of their pet babies.

Brody, who sometimes takes his time to get to know people better, greeted him like an old friend and really enjoyed himself and all the attention Louis gave him. Sally & Tim

From when I first spoke to Sally I had an instant connection with her and a strong instinct that she would be a very zeewoi. This turned out to be absolutely correct! She and Tim came with their beautiful pointer, Plum, and spent two weeks looking after our lurcher, Tess, and the house. Tess had a marvellous time and went for long and exciting walks. We had regular updates - just the right amount. We got back to an immaculately clean house and a very happy dog. Oh and all the seedlings and plants in the greenhouse were looked after too.

This is our second time of having Megan and Scott to sit for us - and yet again, were a complete delight. Totally trustworthy and inspire confidence that both property and dogs, are being well cared for.

Jane

We had a great couple of weeks looking after Fergus and Lemoni. Tim and Jane gave us a lovely welcome and showed us around the house and garden. Tim and Fergus took Matt on a local walk and explained about the park in Bury where Fergus could safely run off the lead. They also provided us with a detailed welcome guide to refer to. Fergus is a lovely big friendly dog who is very well trained. He does pull on the lead a bit at times especially if he spots a pheasant! Lemon is a shy little cat who kept to herself but did call in for a stroke and some 'dreamies' every now and again. Tim and Jane's house is really lovely, comfortable and cosy. The surrounding area is full of interest and we enjoyed some lovely days out. Communication was excellent before and during the sit. We would highly recommend this sit and would love to return.

Kaelyn

We had a fantastic time with Felix & Sebastian in beautiful Thun. The two furballs are super friendly, calm and entertaining cats. They are very easy to look after, eat well and are always up for a game. They are also very trusting and cuddly, which has given us wonderful hours with them.

The communication and coordination with Kaelyn was uncomplicated and very pleasant. Kaelyn lives in a beautiful modern apartment within walking distance of the lake with comfortable furnishings. We didn't miss anything, it was very clean and we felt very comfortable at all times. Despite the time difference, Kaelyn always responded quickly and gave us valuable tips. Both the welcome and the key handover on the day of departure were very warm, reliable, direct and uncomplicated. 

Thank you for an all-round perfect catsit. We would love to come back as we both miss Thun & the cats!

Madeleine

We had a fantastic time looking after this beautiful house and Milo in Cabuya. It was so peaceful to sit outside and look out over the wonderful yard surrounded by palms, trees, and flowers. Milo is the sweetest dog and we loved taking him for walks up and down the road in front of the house as well as the many trips to the beach. Everyone in the town that we came across were very friendly especially when we walked around with Milo as everyone seemed to know him. Being there for an extended period meant that issues came up from time to time, but we were quickly able to sort through things with constant communication with Madeleine and Vincent. They were the excellent owners to work with and we enjoyed getting to know them before and after the sit. The wildlife and bird life was excellent and we especially enjoyed seeing Scarlet Macaws and howler monkeys almost daily. We really loved Costa Rica and this sit made it even more special for us.

Claire

Claire and Steve made us very welcome, inviting us to stay the night before so that we could be introduced to all the animals and be shown what to do.  The dogs were easy to look after and enjoyed being let off their leads on the fenland paths that we explored.  We were new to looking after chickens and ducks but this proved to be no problem either.  

The house and garden are lovely and had the weather been slightly warmer we could easily have spent the time enjoying the peace and quiet.  Instead we explored the nearby towns and can thoroughly recommend Louth as a place to visit and investigate all the individual little shops.

We would be very happy to sit for them again and would recommend the experience to other housesitters.

Overall it was a good sit! 
Jill was easy to communicate with before & during my three week sit. She was very flexible with making our schedules align , which was very much appreciated. 
It was my first visit to Houston. Houston is a bit spread out , but Jills place had all the essentials a few minutes away. The condo stayed cool in the prime of Texas summer. I think in part bc it doesn’t receive direct sun light ~ but there is a sunny community pool just steps outside. The kitties were a bit indifferent at first , but eventually did warm up ! They love their breakfast in the morning - and get a bit playful in the evening hours ~ but they mostly just lounge and do their cat things. Rosa the white kitty had some very sweet habits - like sitting right next to me during morning meditations - gotta love that! Jill left a large empty section in the closet - which of course is greatly appreciated! The bathroom was also cleared out , so there was ample space for your belongings. It was spacious and comfortable and once I was settled in , the three weeks flew right by! Thanks for everything <3

carol

My husband and I really enjoyed watching Louis and Frazzle. Louis is a big love bug, and he listened and behaved very well. Mark walked him most of the time because he's so big. I walked him once, and he got a little protective. So we let Mark handle him after that. They bonded and became buddies. With Mark he was a big teddy bear. Frazzle, like a lot of cats, took a couple of days to warm up, but then Frazzle dazzle is friendly and loving. The chickens took just an easy 15 minutes a day. The turtles are low maintenance.

Carol and Andrew are super nice people. We met Carol first, and she made us feel like old friends. Her warmth and bubbly personality is infectious. Their home is amazing, and the area is beautiful.  The local village is tiny. There is a small grocery store and a restaurant. To get groceries at Lidl supermarket is a 20 minute drive. That said, there is a lot to do overall. Take a walk or a bike ride down the canal for wine tasting. A trip to the castle in Carcassonne or live music up the street at the only village restaurant.  On property there are 2 pools, hot tub, and work out area. What more can you ask for?  It was an honor and a pleasure for us to pet sit for Carol and Andrew. We would do it again any time.
