Ivan was a real life saver. When we arrived in Buscerias Mexico I realized I left my necessary medication at home. Ivan drove it in his car over to a friend's house that was willing to deliver it to me by plane. Also when my indoor/ outdoor cat Karen got injured by another animal, Ivan and I worked together on a plan to keep her safe. He left the house immaculate. He used his own bedding and carefully put the spare bed back together beautifully. He also helped set up a new wifi network in my house through all the brick walls we have so he could work more efficiently and we could enjoy it when we got home. He ate his own food but we offered him anything in our fridge. He stayed around with Karen and when it was 17 degrees F out, he made sure all our cupboards were opened up around the sinks and the pipes were wrapped and there was adequate heat to all living areas so the pipes would not freeze. We would welcome Ivan back anytime. Karen missed him!
We had a wonderful sit with Millie and Hulk who were very sweet and easy to take care of. Lotte was a lovely and welcoming host. Her apartment was well equipped and in a great location. Thanks Lotte!
We had the great pleasure of taking care of Brian and Kitty and looking after Jennifer and James's house. Jennifer and James were very kind and made us feel at home right away. All the important details were explained perfectly and the communication throughout our stay was very pleasant. Brian and Kitty are very fun and kind animals. We bonded a lot with both of them. Kitty is a very independent cat and Brian is a sweet and chill dog, we definitely enjoyed our walks with him. The house is incredible, spacious, organized with a beautiful Amsterdam house style, to top it off, it's right next to the Vondelpark. Would highly recommend this lovely family for a house sit! What a treat of a sit - Wonderful, relaxed, easy going pets. Great cat / dog combo with a flexible routine that worked well around mine. Easy relaxed time in the living room in the afternoons and evenings. - Beautiful view. - A spacious, ideal sized house in a quiet, lovely area of Bend - The most welcoming, relaxed, helpful hosts (Jim and Cathi). The sit more or less felt effortless, while being nourishing to all involved. I felt that if any issue would arise, the hosts would be available. Highly recommended as a wonderful way to connect to scenic Bend. Can easily see myself being here again. The entire exchange felt wonderful. Trusted House Sitters at its best.
Dani was a joy to sit for! Her place is so comfortable and Effie and Ace are two of the sweetest, silly dogs I have ever met. I would definitely recommend sitting for her and would love to be back!
Fantastic sit! Jonathan was very communicative from the get-go and Puck was a joy to watch. Puck is playful yet well-behaved. After a day or so he will warm up and snuggle with you. Their apartment is modern, clean, and in a fantastic location for exploring the city. I would consider sitting for them again without hesitation.
Emily & Max were great, and Ruby & Momo have so much personality! I really enjoyed watching them play and hanging out with them. They're playful, easy to manage, and super sweet. :) Emily & Max provided everything I needed and were very easy to work with. I mixed up the end date, and they were so gracious!
