Mason was awesome. She was great at communication leading up to her Day 1 arrival and her departure 3 weeks later, always with our dogs in mind. She sent photos of her walking the dogs, was able to accommodate unforeseen requests and always promptly responsive when I checked in. Mason was an all around delight to have. No doubt our dogs were well loved while we were away.
Austin was awesome! He's a very personable guy with a good sense of humor, who seemed to love the idiosyncrasies of our 3 very different cats. He arrived the night before we left on our week-long getaway, and we had a relaxed time going over everything with him. Felt very confident leaving our home and cats to his care. The cats were happy and healthy upon our return, and he left the house clean and bright. He sent lots of great cat pix and updates, too! We really liked that Austin took advantage of the bikes we offered to explore our neighborhood and Nashville. Definitely recommend him!
We had a fantastic time looking for lovely Rosie and Louise's and Andy's cosy home in Lyme Regis. It was our second housesit for THS and nothing could have been better. Louise and Andy are amazing hosts and very easy going people. We felt welcomed from the very first moment. Andy gave us a ride in his car and showed us around in the city. Both of them also gave us a lots of great advice where to go and what to see while we are at the Jurassic Coast. As Lyme Regis is quite a busy place in summertime, we were super happy Andy let us use his private parking place next to the beach and the Cobb. We enjoyed taking care of Rosie so much. She is an adorable dog which loves going on walks during the nearby woods and fields with an amazing view over the sea and Lyme Regis. For her age, she is really fit and healthy, and full of energy - especially if she spots a squirrel or a cat 😊. We really enjoyed our daily cuddling times with Rosie and it was so cute to see that our mutual companionship seemed to make her happy. Dear Louise and Andy, thanks so much for your trust in us, allowing us to gain this wonderful experience of sitting your charming old lady... for the delicious dinner and nice conversation on the last eve... as well as your flexibility regarding our departure date. ... and of course to Alexa for the fantastic Latin songs :-) We highly recommend this sit and would really love to come back and look after lovely Rosie any time.
