This was a dream sit! I spent a week with Lilo in the beautiful city of Lausanne. This was my first time meeting a Shiba and I had a lot of laughs discovering her personality. She is independent, intelligent and sassy. On her walks, she will lead you to local cafe or patisseries - talk about your own local guide(!) and if a pinecone is in sight she will initiate a game of pinecone soccer. We both shared a love for people watching and sun bathing on the patio and I will miss that foxy girl! The pawrents, David and Anne, are wonderful people, and they feel like your best friend’s parents - warm, fun and inviting. They have stories to tell of their adventures and you can tell are so passionate and loving. If you get picked for this sit, enjoy! You’re going to have the best time with Lilo as your companion.
From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience taking care of Cleo and Grace! Hilary and her partner were extremely kind and generous. The place was also impeccably clean. Although we didn’t explore the area a ton because we were visiting family in Ottawa, it seemed to be quite central and easy to access stores and restaurants by car in a matter of minutes. Hilary was also great to leave resources and recommendations!
I had a lovely time pet-sitting for Kim. Lucy is an adorable frenchie who loves going on walks, snuggling, and playing with her toys. Kim was a great host - very communicative, helpful and welcoming. There was an issue with the heating one day and she worked quickly to get it fixed the same the day. The apartment is a great location, near multiple trains, lots of restaurants and bars and the apartment itself was very tidy.
I would recommend this housesit with Mimi and Rooh strongly. They were delightful kitties and I enjoyed taking care of them. My communication with Ananya was comfortable both before and during the housesit.
I really enjoyed looking after Popple and Hamish in Lana's lovely apartment. The area Lana lives is really interesting and it was great to see a part of Melbourne I didn't know. Good coffee shops nearby and very handy for quick public transport to many parts of the city. The cats are easy to look after and Lana was great to communicate with. Thanks Lana for a lovely few days and I'd love to return.
Barbara is an incredible woman to house-sit for and her neighbors are the loveliest bunch we’ve met in our entire history of house sitting! Our sit started out with a bang when Barbara welcomed us at the bus station with giant hugs. She left us with many local tips, including the best hiking trails around Semriach, and shared everything we needed to know about her fur babies so we could care for them with ease. Eleni and Blitzi were a fun duo to look after. Both very playful and independent and just all around wonderful company. Although Blitzi was super-shy and her love language wasn’t physical touch, she expressed her affections in the most quiet, adorable ways while Eleni was ever-ready for our rubs -- so glad Barbara shared them with us! We recommend Barbara’s charming home, kitties and community without question -- thank you TONS for this amazing sitting experience and we wish you the best of life! Cheers :)
