Candy was a wonderful & welcoming hostess. She invited me to arrive a couple days before she left so she could show me around. I did arrive two days early. She picked me up at the airport, and it felt like I had known her for years. She brought me to the National Mill Rescue to show me the great work they do there on behalf of rescued dogs. The next day we went to the zoo, which was great! Her dogs are adorable. Bella & Gwinnie became my couch companions right away. They love pets & snuggles. Max is slow to warm up, but we made progress. Candy had their food & schedules printed out, so it was easy to follow. I had a very pleasant week in COS and would care for Candy's pups in the future.
I had an incredible long sit with Pixie and Pandie! They were so good on our walks to the park and they were great company while I studied. Just the sweetest little pups! We had a lovely little morning and nightly routine and I miss them dearly already! Jan and Rich are such kind and prepared hosts! They were super responsive to any questions I had, and they left a fully comprehensive welcome guide for me to refer to. The house is very cozy and warm and it has everything you’d need to brace the chilly Seattle winter. The hot tub, wow! I felt totally spoiled in every sense of the word. Thank you to Jan for letting me borrow wool socks! I definitely recommend this sit and I’d be more than happy to return. Waking up to a beautiful green backyard with lots of hummingbird visitors is just one of things I’ll miss about staying at Jan and Rich’s home. Thank you!
My experience with Linda, Larry and Bodie was truly phenomenal and words cannot fully capture the depth of gratitude I feel towards them. From our very first zoom call, I immediately felt a strong connection with Linda and Larry, which has only grown stronger over time. They are exceptional individuals embodying generosity, kindness, intelligence, and open-heartedness in a way that is unparalleled. I am incredibly grateful to now call them dear friends! And then there’s Bodie-an absolute sweetheart! From the moment we met, we formed a bond that brought me joy and laughter every day for two months. I miss her terribly. Combine this with the warmth of their beautiful home, the welcoming community, and the magic of Porte de Lima and Portugal as a whole, and you have an experience that simply cannot be surpassed. I am deeply thankful for the time spent with this wonderful trio. 💕
A tidy, comfortable home in a lovely location with much to explore. The cats are adorable and exactly as described in both the write up and in person. Joby's instructions were clear and she left lengthy instructions I could reference. I was fortunate to be there while the many daffodils were blooming and the weather was pleasant enough to enjoy the screened porch.
I have just spent 4 days looking after the wonderful Michonne and Titus. They were very low maintenance and just happy to be fed and sit by me in the evening, even shy Titus sat with me on the sofa after the first night. Jo has a lovely flat, it was spotless, comfortable and had everything that I could need. Also, only a 10-minute walk to the beach which was a lovely wander in either direction with plenty of little cafes. I would highly recommend this sit and would have no hesitation in sitting for Jo, Michonne and Titus again.
Although one cat is semi-feral, my overall experience was lovely. Communication with Chelsea and Coley was easy, the cats were joyful, and the morning and evening times on the porch were serene.

Prime Pet Care are excellent! A reliable and well ran service, really know dogs and felt comfortable straight away letting them look after and take care of our young dog. June looked after your dog from when he was just a small pup. Once he got old enough he moved to doing two walks a day with Alan. Can't recommend these guys enough!

Day care for dogs. They offer half day or full day sessions. Dogs get a chance to play, solve puzzles/stimulating tasks, fitness, naps and feeding times. The staff are amazing with the animals. The venue is large enough with indoor and outdoor space. Great value for money.
Tilly's first time yesterday at doggy day care she loved it. staff are great with your puppies/dogs. We also use the puppy academy great for getting your pup around other pups in a safe environment.
My great dane pup has been going to daycare since the first day it opened, he is a very happy and content dog for it. The staff are fantastic and very experienced I think of them as jaspers 2nd family. The building is a fantastic set up it allows dogs of all sizes and ages to play and socialise with the other students in a very fun safe environment. It also has very cozy secure hideaways for dogs to sleep. If you are looking for daycare for your dog i can highly recommend Doggy daycare academy and it's staff they really do treat the dogs as family. Wagging tails all round. 🐕
Brought my two Rhodesian Ridgebacks along for a trial day, as they might have to spend a day or two there in the summer when I am having my baby. They absolutely loved meeting everyone and all the dogs, and was lovely to see how much the staff care for the dogs. Highly recommend!

Contacted cats in situ after posting a message on local Facebook group and almost everyone recommended cats in situ! This was my first time getting a in house cat sitter and I was really apprehensive. From the moment I contacted Una it was nothing but pleasant conversations. Una came out and went over everything and put my nerves at ease. I booked Una for morning and evening visits as I was away for two weeks. I got daily updates and pictures via WhatsApp and when I came back my little cat wasn't stressed and hadn't pooped anywhere as she usually does if I leave her with my family to look be looked aftered. Una spent time and played with my cat! Una cleaned the litter tray and even when I had to make an impromptu return back Una came over to make sure nobody had broken in! I would 100% recommend, and if you are a first timer like me I would highly recommend Cats In Situ!
Una provides a fantastic service - i can't recommend her highly enough. She's looked after our two cats on two occasions now and i've been very happy with the service provided - the cats certainly seem to enjoy her company! Before starting to look after them Una will arrange to meet so she can get to know your cats and understand their little foibles, and put your mind at ease before your holiday. During her visits she'll give really good updates as to how they're getting on - pics, videos etc - which is really good to see. Most importantly, she's really easy to get on with and genuinely seems to love the cats! Highly recommended.
I was recommended the services of Una at Cats in Situ by a family member, so I had no hesitation in having her look after our cat Jasmine whilst we went on holiday. Una is extremely professional, trustworthy, and her dedication and passion for cats comes across as soon as you get in touch. Una also offers to look after your house whilst you’re away which is very reassuring. Our cat Jasmine was loved and cared for whilst we were on holiday getting treats, play time, and lots of cuddles. The communication from Una to us was excellent with daily updates provided which included photos and videos. Una went above and beyond her duty of care which I am extremely grateful for and I will happily recommend Cats in Situ to everyone I know.
Una is professional, caring and a great communicator. I was extremely impressed she meets animals and families in advance. Una has individualised Care Plans to meet the needs of the animals in her care. We feel totally reassured that our cat and house is safe in Una's hands. I contacted Cats In Situ as a result of customers reviews and can't recommend Una highly enough, she's amazing!
We have used Cats in Situ twice now and can't recommended Una enough. She clearly loves cats and her kindness and patience with our nervy cat paid dividends she persevered and had him very relaxed, our other cat loves her to bits. She goes above and beyond and you know that both animals and house are in safe hands and she takes the time to send pictures and updates. Not all angels wear wings some wear a cats in Situ uniform.
Una looked after my wee furbaby which we were away for 2 weeks. My cat is very clingy and she does not cope in catteries. I have used a few cat sitters before, but I have had the best experience with Una. My cat was so happy with her and I was relaxed knowing Una was looking after Darcy and keeping an eye on my house. I would always recommend Una to anyone and highly recommend her services.
We have an old and sometimes nervous Siamese cat who likes his normal household routine and doesn't like us going on holiday. When our previous cat minder moved away we were concerned to find a good replacement, someone we could trust who would take good care of him. It was a relief to find Una and knowing she had her own Bengals gave us immediate confidence that she could cope with a Siamese, not always the easiest of cats. While away we appreciate the regular updates and photos, this helps us relax and enjoy our holiday time and Una is usually better than us at remembering when our bins need to go out. I can unreservedly recommend Cats In Situ.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Una. I knew from the first moment Una stepped into my house that she was going to give my 3 cats the best treatment ever and I know my house was in safe hands too. Una really took the time to understand not only each of my cats but also me and what my worries were. I had the best experience of going away knowing my cats were safe and happy. We have used a cattery's for our 2 younger cats previously but they were really stressing out and I explained all of this to Una who immediately put me at rest when she explained everything she would do. Una was just perfect with them, they were happy to have play time and feeding time all rolled into a big ball of cuddles and happiness. I couldn't believe the photos and videos Una forwarded on to me, my cats clearly weren't missing me. I massively enjoyed my trip away more because of Una's reassurances. The lovely lady that she is even sorted out my fish tank for me. I will only be leaving my cats with Una for my trips away from now on.
Highly recommend Una! She's incredibly dedicated to her job and clearly cares very much about every cat she looks after. From the meeting in advance of going away to discuss arrangements, to all the photos and wee updates she sent while we were away, we never had any reason to doubt our cats were in the best hands. We would not hesitate to get in touch with her again next time we go away!
I found Cats In Situ via social media and can honestly say she is an absolute angel!! Having 4 cats it can be very costly to put them in catteries and they always came back a little out of sorts taking ages to settle back in at home making it really difficult to go away on holiday and the guilt we felt was terrible. Since having Una come to the house when we are away our babies are so much happier when we return, there's no settling period, no grumpy cats, just hugs and love when we come home. She really is amazing, all our cats love her and I now have no hesitation in going on holiday because I know my fur babies are well looked after and loved!
We have had Ted look after our dog on numerous occasions, and he treats him like part of the family! .. very reliable, the dog loves being with him and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend Ted for anyone who wants their dogs treated like royalty! Such a lovely guy .. well done Ted!

I was anxious about leaving my pup with strangers as he is very timid around new people. But when I collected him he was so happy and playing with the resident dogs! The owners couldn’t be lovelier and I would highly recommend!
This was the first time we have left our 15 month old ALD with anyone other than family. We only left her a few days but when we went back to collect her, she had already made herself at home and was quite happy amongst the other doggy residents - I was so pleased and can’t recommend Alison & Fraser highly enough. Alison and Fraser even had time to sent me a pic of Roxy chilling on the top of the sofa 💕💕💕🐾🐾🐾. Thank you again Alison & Fraser for taking such good care of our girl. Delighted to get our three dogs in here at short notice. Fantastic service and really great value for kennels ( our normal kennels are twice the price in England) Our dogs were well cared for and the staff were knowledgeable about their quirks and habits when we picked them up which shows me that care and attention had been paid to them. We would not hesitate use Powiswood in the future and can highly recommend them.

First time we've had our dogs in here and very happy. We picked up our dogs and as usual they were happy to see us. Once home they remained settled all day. Totally different from previous boarding at a different kennels. Hopefully we'll be able to use Powiswood in the future.
My dog stayed here for 12 days and was looked after very well. Facilities and staff were excellent and took phonecalls from myself on holiday asking how buddy was getting on. Buddy will be going back here again

Our own dog has has been with Granny Woof Woof for over 2 years now, from the puppy group which helped socialise him with other dogs and now to his adult group where he loves to run around and play. He absolutely loves his days out with Granny Woof Woof!
Absolutely first class service . Our dog loves going to Granny woof woof . The service they provide it’s second to none. Iain is what we call the dog whisperer our dog was shy and lacking confidence when he first started going but now he is confident and is thriving all thanks to this service . We get lots of live videos when Daco attends and we can see the smile on his face whilst he plays with the other dogs. Daco gets picked up in an amazing transport van all kitted out for dogs which he loves going into . Cannot recommend highly enough , Alice and Iain are amazing .
One of the best dog care providers. The love that they all show the dogs is outstanding. Nala and Loki are always excited when there getting picked up for their walks. These guys are so accommodation when it comes to booking. Their runs are perfect for doggies to let off steam. Highly recommend.
My two miniature schnauzers have a great time at Granny Woof Woofs They have enjoy running around with there furry friends from Puppies + still do. My maltipoo has separation anxiety. Adele spent some time with her, even though she cried. It didn't put her off and she was willing to let her stay for 2 nights. But due to covid I couldn't go away. Hopefully she will get better and can stay with Adele in the future. Highly recommend x

We first got in contact with Angela as we were looking for an experienced dog Walker for our 18 month old Rottweiler who pulled like a train on a walk and wanted to greet every person/dog we passed. After only a few structured walks we noticed a massive different in indis engagement and her behaviour on walks! We’ve also used her dog boarding service and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after my dog! We’re also attending her training classes and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve working together. She is so much more, from structured walks, training techniques, socialising & environmental training to help build Macy’s confidence. She has also given us lots of advise & support. Our dog Iris stayed with Angela whilst we were on holiday. The updates were regular and Iris looked like she was having the time of her life! She enjoyed Angela’s dogs Ivy and Maisey’s company and she came home super happy! Angela not only boarded but also trained alongside and helped improve Iris’ training and skills. I couldn’t fault the communication of the handovers and drop offs and the regular updates and pictures really put us at ease. We also came home to a domestic emergency with our house, Angela happily kept Iris for an extra night and it was no bother to her at all. We can’t wait to use Angela’s boarding again and I’m sure Iris would say the same if she could talk!🤣
Angela has been taking our 3 year old German shepherd Enzo on structured walks for the past 6 months and we have seen a massive improvement in his lead walking and reactivity to other dogs. He has also home boarded with Angela whilst we were on holiday and we knew we had left him in great hands. Looking forward to starting group classes to keep working on everything we have all learned so far 😊
Angela really is fantastic at what she does, she is so passionate about dogs & truly puts your pet first! We required puppy visits for our boy Harris, Angela was amazing from the start; she done an initial visit with Harris to make sure they bonded & so that we could see how professional and qualified she is, she took control of the situation by providing us with all info we needed as well as even demonstrating some training. We’re 1st time dog owners so were very nervous about having a stranger take care of our boy & enter our home 5 days a week but Angela settled these nerves so quickly with consistent pics/video updates, we truly trusted she had Harris’ best interest at heart. She is so on the ball with noticing when things aren’t right; she managed to recognise an injury that Harris had developed, and stayed with him until we got home & on another occasion was also quick to remove a Tick from his face when she found it! Angela gave us some great training advice throughout & was always happy to have a chat when we crossed paths on her visits. Overall an amazing dog walker/trainer that has set the bar very high for us in the future! We’d recommend Angela to anyone & will definitely use her boarding/training classes in the future. We used the home boarding service for our dog Maggie for 10 days during the summer holidays. Angela sent us daily updates and did some additional training. We were apprehensive about leaving maggie but she loved the experience and we will definitely use Angela for our next holiday.
Angela is absolutely amazing! The improvement we have seen in our 9 month old border collie in 2 months is unbelievable all thanks to Angela! She is so patient and makes training a delight! Wouldn’t trust anyone with our scout now
This lovely lady is definitely the Dog Whisperer! Very experienced, knowledgeable and patient. She took the time to discuss the needs of my 15 month old Dalmatian and put a well structured plan in place. This helped me to be more confident & comfortable walking him as he was becoming reactive towards other dogs and pulling on the lead. The initial assessment lasted over 2hrs and has continued since we first met, through regular contact & updates via her client WhatsApp group and evening training sessions which are absolutely fantastic! She is always there for any queries & reassurance. I honestly cannot recommend her enough....My boy is like a different dog!! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou! 🐾
Angela's outdoor class this week allowed us to practice real life scenarios in a controlled fashion. The chat before the class allowed everyone to share their thoughts about training and how it can change massively according to your mindset. Enlightening.
We have used Country Getaway Kennels many times now and can’t praise the care Christine and her team give the dogs. They are so excited to be driving up towards the buildings and I leave them knowing they are in safe hands. They stay together in one kennel and there is the option to bring your own food or have it supplied. It is in a lovely quiet area with plenty of space to have walks and run around.
Our girls always stay here and most recently had their longest stay (8 nights) - the girls and we appreciated love and care from the family and owners of Country Getaway Boarding Kennels and will only use them again in the future 🤍 …
May 14 -19 2024. I can't thank Christine and her team enough. I have never put my dogs in kennels before and was a little anxious for me and them . The preparation Christine advised from the 1st visit to view kennels, to the trial day care, to see how the dogs would be to the actual stay was all done with warmth, care and consideration to me and the dogs. Christine made me relaxed and confident that my wee Border Terriers, Daisy (12yrs) and Tilly (19mths) were safe and in good hands. This is an amazing kennel. My dog was scared of everything and everyone but he loved staying here and loved this family. They truly do it as they love dogs & they helped me out so much. The price is really affordable and they don’t do it for the money, they do it because they truly care. Also, the fact that Christine is a vets nurse also will put your mind at ease. This is a first class kennel & I can’t rave about it enough. Your dog will love it!!
It was my dog's first time staying at a Kennels and it was great experience. Christine put any anxiety at ease, and sends you updates over whatsapp if you request. Our dog seemed in very good spirits when we picked him up. Will definitely be back again!
Buddy was here for over a week. Christine and the team were so friendly and welcoming. Christine gave opinion of bringing his own food which I thought was a good option. Kennels is in a remote area so the dogs get walked in beautiful countryside.
Highly recommend Christine and Country Getaway. We have an anxious dog who I love very dearly and always worry about. Christine has done a great job of taking care of her on several occasions. We particularly like that the dogs are separated while they stay, so we don't need to worry about our dog being bullied by more confident dogs. The team shows great care and individual attention to each dog. Many thanks to Christine and the team.

Lovely,family run boarding kennels out in the countryside. Christine took such great care of my lab, it was honestly like a little doggy holiday 😍 really highly recommend this place, and I will be definitely using these kennels if I ever need someone to take care of my dog in the future whilst I am away. Would highly recommend Christine and her family for looking after your wee fur babies. We have used them a few times now and our wee Bella boo has always came back a happy girl. Christine is always so helpful and very quick at responding.
