Fabulous communication from Melissa & Ken with good clear instructions on how to look after their lovely home & gorgeous pets. The kelpies are great dogs. Mika is a very respectful dog & Gladdie the puppy really tries hard but sometimes her puppy exuberance overwhelms her & she just can’t help herself from jumping up & loving you!
Puddie the cat is his own man & genuinely loving (at dinner time at least 😂😂).
The home is gorgeous & spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend this sit to anyone who is comfortable on 50 acres with a few cows just 10 minutes from town.

This was one of the best housesits I have ever done. The communication was perfect and included helpful video inductions to the condo and care for Baghera their cat. The condo was a very spacious, modern and stylish warehouse style condo in a prime location bordering Old Port, Downtown and Griffintown and a block from the water. Baghera is a hugely affectionate cat and so easy to care for and I truly looked forward to returning to hang out with her. There was no part of the house-sit that wasn't just amazing. I would highly recommend them.

Glenn and I loved our stay in Odiham looking after two gorgeous dogs, we were made to feel very welcome and felt very at home. We would certainly love to look after them again.

If you love dogs (particularly well behaved ones )and love the countryside this is a perfect sit. We usually sit as a couple but unfortunately my husband Matt was ill so couldn’t come, however any reservations I had about sitting alone were dispelled the minute I arrived.
I arrived the night before to meet Mike, Claire and of course Truffle and Acer and I couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome. We had. delicious Indian takeaway and it gave me ample opportunity to ask questions and get to know the girls ( Claire had also left me a crib sheet with feeding instructions and a few housekeeping things.)
The house is lovely and cosy and easy to navigate. As well as an Aga there is a microwave/ combi oven and the kitchen is well equipped so great if you plan to cook. There is also a comfortable living room where you can watch tv with the dogs.
In my case I think a car is essential as shops are not walkable however I’m sure for those who don’t have transport you could get a delivery and then as far as walks- everything is on the doorstep.
And then there are the dogs- Truffle and Acer- they are just lovely !!!- they are both working dogs and therefore recall is good (occasionally they get distracted like any dog but the whistle soon brings them back).
They are great around the house and brilliant company, and at night they go into their baskets and only stir when they hear you get up. The dogs have a strict set of rules including not being allowed upstairs and Mike and Claire ask you adhere to these while you are there, but that’s very easy ( well apart from the big sad eyes).
In summary if you fancy a break in lovely countryside, in a lovely house looking after two gorgeous dogs then this is the sit for you.

We spent the whole of August in Algodonales (a lovely and bustling small town) in Layla's very comfortable house, and loved every minute of it!

Layla is a super host; very welcoming, energetic and great company.

Sam and Mischa are both easy to care for and a joy to look after. And Chicoteen is just your normal predatory cat, bringing 'gifts' into the house!

Communication with Layla was easy and relaxed before we arrived, and that continued throughout our stay.

It was a pleasure to meet and spend time, albeit limited, with Layla, and we hope to return in the not too distant future.

Beli & Russ are the *sweetest* dogs you'll ever meet (and the softest too!) They are easy to take care of, just letting them into the backyard, and we spent all our evenings on the couch together. Beli takes a little longer to warm up, but he is a sweet prince and was laying on my legs in no time. Russ will take ownership of your lap as soon as you walk in - I miss my little seal pup.

Otherwise, the house is very comfortable, lots of places to spread out and read or watch TV or work. I was able to cook easily and there are plenty of cleaning supplies at hand, a nice Dyson vacuum, and even a roomba to keep up with the daily track-in from the yard. I will say that the stairs up to the bedroom are steep, and the only bathrooms are downstairs, so I wouldn't recommend it for any one elderly or with mobility issues, but for everyone else it's a fine set up. There's not too much to the immediate area, but the Cuyahoga Valley National Park is close by with cute small towns and loads of trails. And there's a metropark with lots of trails even closer.

Overall, it's a great sit to get work done and snuggle with lovely, lovely dogs. Judith was in good communication the whole time and it was great to meet her on either side of the sit!
