Gillian is the ideal sitter and I highly recommend her. I was extremely anxious about leaving my house cat Molly to go away with family for my 70th birthday, knowing how Molly’s indulged (by me) behaviour in the night could prove to be trying, as she likes to wake me up several times, wanting to give and receive affection, not to mention nibbles of food. Gillian was so patient with her. Before the sit Gillian communicated well and asked questions, making sure she understood even the smallest detail about Molly’s habits and requirements and I found this, and her obvious care, enjoyment and knowledge of cat behaviour reassuring. Communication during the sit was also excellent. Gillian sent a daily update with photos and I have returned to a very contented Molly and a really clean and tidy apartment. Thank you Gillian.
Sadly we didn’t get to meet Christine and John prior to the sit, but we did communicate via the message box and chatted on FaceTime so I felt more than happy to entrust my precious Sophie-Lou (and of course, my home) to their care. I really wasn’t disappointed! What a lovely, friendly couple! Although I wasn’t their first sit in Britain, Christine kept in touch on their arrival into the UK so I didn’t have to panic about them not turning up which was, obviously, very reassuring! Sophie-Lou was clearly very loved and spoiled during their stay and I came home to a very contented cat! The house (and garden) were immaculate too so I am delighted they came to stay! During the holiday Christine kept me up to date with photos of both Sophie-Lou and the places they visited during their stay. They were certainly very busy! Christine even wrote a wonderful blog about their stay which was great to read and provides useful info about Broadstairs and places to visit. You can find it at https:/tattletails.blog/exploring-eastern-Kent Thank you Christine and John for taking such care with my precious girl and my home. I hope you enjoy the rest of your stay in the UK. I 100% recommend you to anyone who is looking for a sitter. Thank you!!
