I had a wonderful weekend sitting for Leela and Rizzo. They were both very sweet and great company - it was hard to say goodbye! Carrie and Henry's home was also in a great location in Wicker Park, and I enjoyed long walks with the dogs through the beautiful neighborhood as well as being able to walk to many great restaurants and shops. Would be happy to sit again!
We had a really great time in Calgary taking care of Roman, Canoli and Boots. All three of them are lovely and very well behaved pets. Roman is very loving and caring and we could really feel that he loved us as much as we loved him. The cats also gave us many cuddles which we really enjoyed. All of them are just gorgeous! Chelsea and Jamie are really nice people as well, the communication was clear and not complicated at all and we would love to sit for them again!
Moon is such a sweet dog! He definitely still has his puppy energy and his top priorities are being as close to a human as possible and keeping a ball in his mouth at all times 😁 Elena was very easy to communicate with, especially as Moon was unexpectedly under the weather during part of the sit. As others have mentioned, her home is simple but very conveniently located for anyone looking to explore downtown DC.
Our stay at Tracey’s gorgeous Cotswolds home and looking after Sophie her cat has been nothing short of delightful. The cottage is absolutely superb, located 15 minutes drive from Bath, and only a few minutes walk to Bradford on Avon centre. The town itself is a very traditional and picture postcard Cotswolds village. The cottage itself is gorgeous, super cosy and superbly decorated. The surrounding countryside is perfect for a walking or a cycling getaway. We brought from London our two bikes and loved exploring the area. Upon arrival, Tracey surprised us with fresh homemade sourdough bread and marmalade. This was such a lovely thing to do and made us feel so welcome. All communications and instructions throughout were clear. She also gave us great advice on things to do and places to eat. With regards her lovely cat Sophie, who is truly one of the easiest and cutest cats to look after. She has the most gentle and easy going personality. She is independent, has the freedom of the gardens and loves laying on the garden chair in the sun most afternoons. We had good fun playing with her in the evening and she loved a cuddle and snuggle as well. We would definitely house sit for Tracey again, anytime. And would highly recommend it to anyone else considering visiting the Cotswolds. Tracey was lovely to deal with throughout and we were blessed she decided on us to look after her lovely cat Sophie and her home.
What a delightful time I had with Reggie and Cobweb! They are the cutest pair - full of joy and cuddles...I actually felt like I had woken up in a Disney cartoon with Cobs purring next to me and Reggie bouncing around celebrating the new day. Tom and Chloe are super kind and welcoming. Their communication was top notch before and during the sit and their house is totally gorgeous with a particularly well equipped kitchen, which I enjoyed very much. Lots of excellent walks near by and easy access to the city centre by tube. Highly recommend.
Twigs is a dream to look after! I'd 100% recommend this sit to anyone and would jump at the chance to look after the pup and flat again. Izzy was super welcoming when I arrived and made me feel at home. The flat is just minutes from the sea front and well located to get into central Brighton. You're never far from the action while still being in a quiet corner of the city. Twigs is a joy to be around. She's super friendly and always attracts hellos and waves on a walk! She was super sweet at night time too (she'd always get under the covers with me) and also sleeps well in the living room if you'd rather her not sleep in the bed. Super well behaved and low maintenance, and great on the lead! Thanks so much Izzy for the opportunity to sit 🐶
