Wonderfully warm welcome to a lovely, quiet and cosy home with a fantastic garden and offcourse the adorable duo. Together with Archie and Hamish, we formed the Scottish trio aha. They were easy to care for, independent, social and affectionate cats. I enjoyed my stay, would return and recommend.
We had a great week and a bit looking after Brora and Treacle! Woody and Compton were very welcoming. They have a beautiful home. They provided us with very clear instructions, and were very helpful when we messaged them while they were away when we did have any extra questions! Both Labradors are super loveable, we enjoyed our daily routines of taking both out to regular walks each day in the nearby woodlands, they also have a spacious garden to play outside with them. Brora was only six months old at the time and we even took him to puppy school one evening during our housesit. We wouldn't hesitate to sit for them again!
Kati was an excellent host! She was extremely gracious and kind and provided a ton of great recommendations! Her home is filled with artwork and character and sits in a quiet neighborhood. It was perfect for morning or afternoon walks! She’s close enough to the city where it’s easy to go in on a day trip and explore as well! Yoda and Shadow are very sweet and very chill. Yoda didn’t quite warm up to having me there but it worked out fine, and he wasn’t mean about it if I didn’t get in his space haha. Shadow is easy-going and just kind of does her own thing. Overall, two very good and easy-to-care-for cats! It was a great experience and I wish the weather would have been a bit warmer for me to get out a little more, but other than that it was a very nice sit!
We had a wonderful time house sitting for Michael he was very friendly and made us feel right at home. His home is very nice and well kept, located in a quiet neighbourhood with amazing views of the Neuwied nearby. Neuwied and the surrounding area is a beautiful town and easy accessed by public transport. We enjoyed getting out to explore the area during our sit. Findus is a friendly cat does not like too many cuddles, smart, playful and really loves his food. We have our highest recommendation to any future sitters!
I'm grateful for my stay at Karen's super cute cottage. Caring for Wesley was a true joy, he's such a chill dog; independent, but also always down for cuddling. Like other's have shared Karen's neighborhood is serene, quiet and tucked away from the main island road. PS -- that bed, wow, maybe the most comfortable bed i've ever slept on!
