Wow, what a wonderful sit! Ali and Pams home and cat crew was just as described but better. A lovely welcome home cooked dinner and shown around all the house and everything we could use. Beautifully stocked kitchen with great appliances,crockery and herbs and spices. The historic house is elegantly furnished and extremely clean. The cat crew know how to manipulate especially Jeffrey (finally spelt her name right!) Bonnie and Clyde warmed up to us and we even had lots of cuddles. Squeak was quite aloof but i managed to get some brushing in and purrs. I thought Tiggy was a cute giant amongst the rest of them , such character. The terrace and peaceful outlook is fantastic and changes everyday with the colours of the sky. Ali left us maps and walk info and went exploring Andros and had a chance to taste a little bit of island life. Fantastic sit, fantastic hosts , fantastic house and typical cats that rule the house and surrounds , thankyou Ali, Pam and cat crew!!!
Heather was very kind and accommodating. Her and her family’s home is beautiful and located in a lovely, natural setting. Her pups are very sweet and it was a pleasure to be able to spend time with them and enjoy their home as well.
I had a lovely time looking after Nala and Mouse, both of whom are very spirited, affectionate and well-behaved. Antonia and Nicholas were very welcoming and generous, and communication was open and consistent. They have a beautiful home and a wonderful garden. Good walks are very easy to access close to the house, safely off-road, and Nala walks very well off-lead. Both the dogs are very sociable, love attention and absolutely adore each other! The house is in a great location, very close to central Oxford, and there is a canal path very close by. I highly recommend this sit; it was delightful!
Alan and Amy were lovely hosts and made me feel really at ease as they seemed very down to earth and very easy to get along with. There home was lovely to stay in felt very homely. Bleecker and Mercer were very friendly and although I was told that Mercer didn’t like men and can take a while to get comfortable with new people she sat on my lap on the first couple of hours of meeting me. Most of the time they was out side exploring but when they was indoors Bleecker loves playing and a good stroke and so does Mercer. The area was lovely and very easy to get into central London I used the bus most times as it was on the end of the road, I would also highly recommend going to Press the coffee shop which is also at the end of the road. One thing to note for coffee lovers bring some way of making coffee I was fine coz I always bring my mocha pot but for people who don’t and rely on coffee to get them moving bear this in mind. Would recommend this sit to anyone! Thanks guys so much for having me :)
We would definitely recommend - 5 thumbs up! Selina graciously made us feel very welcome with a lovely meal and full instructions for taking care of the chickens and Carson and Grantham - both wonderful doggies who loved walks on and off the leash and taken in the car to places including pubs. We were very comfortable in the lovely house and the surrounding countryside was beautiful. We enjoyed visits to Shaftsbury (remember the Hovis ad?) and Sherbourne. Thank you Selena for everything.
