Christina was such a wonderful host, and Aitra is a very easy-going cat. I arrived a few days early, and Christina welcomed me into her home, gave me recommendations for places to visit and social groups to try, and showed me how to take care of everything while she was gone. Aitra was my little buddy during our three weeks together. She loves following you around, getting sink water, looking out the window (and pushing boundaries by stepping on the ledge), and playing. She is delightful company, so soft, and very photogenic. I loved sending Christina daily picture updates maybe just as much as she loved receiving them—her love for Aitra shows in everything she says, and it’s so sweet. Christina has such a beautiful heart, and it was a pleasure meeting her. I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to stay with Aitra and make a new friend in Belgium.
