I had a great experience with this sit. Cora and Doc are two very sweet dogs who love to play and cuddle. Ginger and Pepper are independent cats, but Ginger enjoys attention now and then (she will very politely ask you to turn on the bathroom faucet to drink from, which is very cute!) Meredith’s house has some cool art on the walls, some good books around, a fantastic back patio where I spent most of the time hanging out, and is overall very cozy. Would definitely stay again!
Zora was one of our favorite dogs to sit for. She was amazing! Such a gentile, kind soul who we will never forget. Carol was an absolutely fabulous host. We felt immediately at home with her. She generously invited us to stay a couple of days before the sit began and shared great information about places to visit and restaurants to try. Her instructions for care of Zora and the plants were very clear and she is such a fun and warm hearted person to be with, we felt very lucky. The apartment is gorgeous, with everything you would need and views to die for! Very well located for trips to the city, walks in the woods and beach. We very much hope to be back and reccomend this sit very highly!
It was lovely to meet Robert & Jo on our arrival, they were so welcoming and introduced us to dear sweet Bundle and gorgeously friendly and bouncy Purdey! They took time to show us the house and gardens and talked through everything we might need to know. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like welcome guests in their very spacious and comfortable home. The dogs are very relaxed and well trained and were great company, and the house is beautifully located in glorious countryside so the walking is fabulous. We would have no hesitation in recommending this as a brilliant house sit, and as Robert & Jo know we would be delighted to return and see them all again and explore more of the lovely area.
Milo and Cush are wonderful companions! An automatic feeder does a lot of the heavy lifting, so it's mostly a matter of giving them some love and cuddles, and keeping their litter clean. Julien wrote down really clear instructions that were easy to follow. I might suggest coordinating schedules with a bit of overlap to get the rundown in person, but the paper instructions worked just as well. Julien's home is wonderfully appointed (the bed is so comfy!) and is located in a peaceful village just outside London. It makes a great jumping off point for exploring the area and a short 30-minute express train gets you into central London. I would recommend this sit for anyone in the area. In fact, I'm already coming back for a second stay!
I had a great time in Dublin, taking care of Tallulah. She was super sweet, easy going and loved her brushes! After a few hours being a little bit shy, she gained confidence and spent time with me. The house is in a nice neighbourhood, has everything you need nearby and is also well connected to public transport. There is everything you could need. The communication with Julie was great, we were in touch all the time, Julie answered all questions quickly and gave clear instructions on caring for Tallulah. I would recommend this sit 100%!
