They were very well-behaved on walks, responding quickly when called. We loved the morning and evening feeding of the pigs and poultry. The windfall fruit from the apple and pear trees was convenient for distracting the pigs' attention while we got organised. After a few days, the routine was well established. If it rains then this can be muddy work, so do take sturdy boots or wellies. We made a delicious crumble with the apples and pears. And the plentiful supply of fresh eggs was an added bonus. Wifi was fast and coverage was excellent across the entire house and immediately outside.
