I am so happy that I found Lindsey to take care of our farm for a few nights. It was a lot to take on (goats, sheep, chickens, pig, ducks, dogs, cats) and she took excellent care of everyone while we were away. It felt so good to get out of town knowing that all was in good hands. Lindsey is very responsible, respectful and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend her and we'd be happy to have her back here anytime.
We had a good time with Lilly and Louie. They are beautiful and independent cats who most of the time mind their own business. Louie showed his affectionate side as well which was sweet. Peter and Glenda were very welcoming and kind and made us feel comfortable at their house. It’s a lovely home with a nice garden with lots of plants and a pool. We felt good and enjoyed our time with the cats. Thank you for having us!
The owners were very friendly and organised, leaving helpful instructions. And all four cats are totally gorgeous and lovely company. They will have you well-trained in no time! The flat is really comfortable, and in a brilliant location, just across the heath to Greenwich Park. Lots to do in the area. A great sit!
We had an amazing time staying at Erin ranch! The cats are super friendly they will come up to you and literally lay on top of your chest! The horses are absolutely beautiful. When you wake up in the morning can go see the horses, and they come up to you right away. they love to be petted. The area is beautiful so many trees, very quiet, calming, it really felt like a retreat. Thank you Erin for choosing us, we really had a very relaxing long weekend :)
We had the absolute best time dog sitting for Henry in Martha’s Vineyard. Henry is very friendly and has a lot of energy, and we really enjoyed taking him on long walks and bringing him around to explore the island with us. There was no shortage of places to explore with him (hikes, beaches, towns, etc), and it was also convenient that the house is easy walking distance to an extensive trail network. While Henry has a big sense of adventure, he was extremely calm and mellow in the house. The home is lovely and we were very comfortable during our stay – and the Vineyard is spectacular in the fall. Mary and Pat were gracious hosts and we really enjoyed getting to know them during our short overlap. We stayed over the night before, and they gave us a lot of helpful information about Henry and suggestions for things to see and do on the island. They did warn us that Henry can jump, but provided simple tips to prevent it, so it was not an issue for us. Henry quickly became our best buddy and were so sad to say goodbye at the end of our stay! Definitely would recommend this sit and we sit for them again in a heartbeat! (Note that we did not sit for their cat, Walter, as he remained at their west coast home)
The O'Briens are awesome! And Chester is amazing! He is a gentle giant, sweet, smart, obedient, and loves to play. We played ball and tug. He got along so well with my small chorkie and was very gentle with him. They became quite good friends quickly. The O'Briens are a dream sit. I felt like we really hit it off on our pre-sit zoom where we all talked about what was involved and I shared why I wanted to sit with Chester. Even Axl, my dog, and Chester were on the zoom call. I was made to feel so welcome and special that it was if I were their own family. They arranged for me to work online and gave me my own desk space. They made sure I had things I liked for my breakfast until I could have food delivered, and Pamela made the most awesome roast and potatoes which I happily ate. It was so yummy!! They allowed me to come the night before they left and stay the night they returned home. Their home is very nice and tidy, also very comfortable. I felt comfortable the entire time. I was allowed to park in their garage while they were gone and was given a remote for the garage door as well as a key to their home. They showed me where everything was, what Chester's routine is, what he likes, and made it very easy to take care of him. The O'Briens and Chester are a sit set to a high standard! I would 1000% recommend sitting for the O'Briens and hope to do so again in the future.
Toby and Ellen, received me in the most warming way, they took their time to show me around their beautiful, modern, super tidy and well organized house. The pups are a pleasure to be with, and are always ready for a nice walk, or play with. We definetly enjoyed this pet sit and would love to go back at any moment. I could only thank Ellen and Toby for this opportunity.
