What a great time we had. Glenda and I totally enjoyed loving up on Zoe, Oreo, and Marley. Such a peaceful home and lovely little town. Donna made our stay so relaxing. Even offered the use of the hot tub that we took advantage one evening. So close to a lake that had several activities available. Not so far was Sylvan Lake as well with several great places to dine. It was an absolute pleasure to meet Francoise, John, Victor & Tiger. Straight away we were made to feel at ease in their lovely home. House notes were prepared for our stay, which is always appreciated. Victor, such a lovely little Jack Russell, was also going on holiday, so we actually just had Tiger the tabby cat to care for - he was such a personality and a wonderful companion to us - an absolute joy to care for. The house is absolutely charming, really comfortable and warm, in a pretty picturesque setting, within the village of North Mundham. The vibrant and historic City of Chichester is just a few minutes drive away, where you will find all the major supermarkets for your supplies, also plenty of cafe's and restaurants - not forgetting the many little individual shops for a spot of retail therapy. The coastal towns of Bognor Regis, Hayling Island, Brighton &Hove, plus many others, are also within close driving distance. One of the highlights of our stay was the Tulip Festival of Arundel Castle (20 mins drive) - Amazing! And a must see if you are lucky to be in the area during April. There is so much to be recommended for John and Francoise house/pet sit. Anyone lucky enough to secure this assignment ( we very much hope for a return invitation:), will have a very pleasant time indeed. We took care of the little furry ladies and had a fun week in Valencia. Sophie was super friendly and welcoming, we knew we could call her if we needed anything. Apartment is on a great location in the downtown, yet pretty quiet. Plenty of bike rentals if you want to go further. Roux and Bee were so lazy during the day, but in the mornings and evenings they love to play and run around. We enjoyed this housesit a lot <3

The destination was a very quiet neighborhood and having a car would be helpful if you wanted to explore the city.
It was such a wonderful first housesit, with Siena…Clear instructions, and a nice quiet house. Both Nicole and Matthew were easy to communicate with, when I had questions and responded immediately. It was an uncomplicated and straightforward experience, so for this to be my first housesit with THS, I couldn’t have asked for anything better! I had my choice of streets to walk Siena on each day, different routes in all, and finding the pathways up/down the neighborhood was icing on the cake! Siena was easy to walk, and easy to redirect if a dog was coming towards us. Such a good girl! I visited all of my favorite coffee shops and eateries within minutes of their house… truly my hearts desire. Thank you for this, my first, THS housesit!
