Great experience, June and Sheldon are very sweet and Julie & Anand are kind, communicative, and have a beautiful home. Thank you for having us!
I stayed at Laura's and Eric's place for five days and I had a wonderful experience. They were extremely welcoming and very clear when communicating. All the information I received was complete and specific: this allowed me to take care of Calvin and Nahla without any issues. The apartment was very clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you need. They are also super well organized as far as the cats' food, toys, and equipment are concerned: you cannot make mistakes. Eric and Laura explained to me Calvin's and Nahla's temperament, how to manage the plants and the house, playtime with them, what their favorite toys, food, and treats are, and how to manage any situation that may arise. Calvin loves playing with things he cannot directly see and follows you anywhere, especially in the kitchen ahah, he's lovely! Nahla is really calm and sweet, she mainly stays under the sofa, but she will also come to see you to ask for some cuddles. They will let you sleep during the night, are easy to manage, and are not invasive when eating. I really recommend this sit both for the owners' kindness and the pets' qualities :) Thank you for this experience!
This was my first sit and could not have been better. The house is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Royal Deeside. Although a large granite house, it has a lovely warm feeling. Charlotte, the owner, has succeeded in making it a comfortable, cosy family home. She's very laid back and did not seem to mind if I contacted her while she was away if I had problems. The dogs, two black Cocker spaniels, mother and daughter, were delightful! Biddable, funny, cuddly, I could go on. They were no problem at all, and seemed unfazed by a total stranger looking after them. The chickens, too, were easy to care for and produced lovely golden yolked eggs every day. My my bedroom and bathroom were straight out of Homes and Gardens and I slept like a log. A car is essential as the local food shops are nine miles away. Highly recommended sit.
