Elizabeth was a great sitter!!! She was very easy to communicate with and asked perfect questions to get set up. She did a great job with the house and animals.
It was a pleasure for me to sit for Matt and Nancy. Their home is comfortable, clean, and provides a fantastic relaxing view. The best part, however, are Harry and Stella! They welcomed me from the moment I opened the door like I was their best friend. They are very chill dogs and great snugglers. Highly recommend sitting for them. There are stairs involved when taking them out to the backyard. Great communication from Matt and Nancy too.
Oh, where to begin? I had the fantastic good fortune to stay at Lissa and Jeff's magnificent home with Luna and the crew of cats for six weeks. By far the most comfortable, if not luxurious, sit I've ever had! Lissa was really great with communication and breaking everything down which needs to be done with the house (it's big!). She and Jeff are really lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed their company right upon arrival. They made sure everything was in good order for a smooth six weeks at the house. Luna is an old gal but very sweet. She needs a little bit of extra attention ( going out) because of her age but if you have any experience with older dogs, it's quite easy to learn her behaviors and it all becomes second nature very quickly. The walks up and down the road never got old. The views were just stunning. She always liked to keep me company while I worked, which is my kinda company. Lilly, Pan, and Puck were a delight. The boys, mostly Puck, might take a bit to get used to you but everyone is friendly is relatively easygoing. They'll be happy to receive head scratches and attention. Lilly is quite amusing, although she may startle you at times with her sudden bursts of vocal output. All three are quite charming. They do require some meds in the morning but it's all easy peasy. The house is nice and open. The view from the deck alone makes the stay worthwhile and one can really feel spoiled in the home. Fantastic little workout space upstairs, a sauna in the basement (amazing), and the hot tub was an added bonus, to say the least. And then there is the stereo. If you are an audio nerd/music lover (like me), you are gonna LOVE having access to this setup during your stay. Wanna catch a flick and feel totally immersed? The "theater" room upstairs has ya covered. Jeff set up one of the offices for me to work in and the space was really great and comfortable. Asheville has beautiful surroundings and while I went into town here and there I honestly loved staying at the house and taking in everything mentioned above. I could go on and on. Hell, even the beer glasses were a pleasure. So if one is about to get the chance to stay at Lissa and Jeff's, congratulations. You hit the Trusted House Sitter's jackpot. Lissa and Jeff, I can't thank you both enough for giving me the opportunity to care for your animals and home. Was a truly fantastic six weeks and made for some delightful memories. Thank you!
Meeting Susan, Sven, Caps and Bella was such a lovely experience! I can't speak highly enough. I adored spending time with the two pups: we chilled, cuddled and they were next to me the whole time :) I couldn't stop giving them belly rubs, they were the cutest. Susan is beyond lovely, communication was smooth and they were very accommodative. Everything was perfect, enjoyed getting to know them too and it was a really positive experience :) I would love to get back soon!
I absolutely loved spending time with Mishka! She was full of play and cuddles. Karolina was a wonderful host— very communicative and kind. The home was spotless and the views were incredible! And it was in a great location. I would absolutely do this exchange again! Thank you!
Excellent experience taking care of Wally. It’s an adorable little dog who made it really easy for us since day 1. We took him everywhere and never got tired or caused any trouble. Sebas and Lucho were very friendly since the beginning and their apartment is amazing. 10/10
We had the best weekend looking after Jabba, Honeybear and Nala! Kat and Mike’s flat is in such an amazing location, so close to shopping and the Olympic Park so perfect for dog walks. Communication was excellent too. All 3 dogs are so sweet, friendly and very easy to look after. The flat is lovely and it was great to be able to go for a swim whilst we were there.
