Cat Sitters in Le Cres

Maggie and Clermont were wonderful. They arrived the day before took notes on everything in the house. They also brought two bottles of very nice wine. Apparently Handful was very satisfied with them since I don't think that he noticed we were gone. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Nicolas sat for us during a 3 week trip we made in Nov/Dec 2022. Communication with Nicolas wasn't easy. We were so concerned that he wasn't going to arrive that we made other last minute plans just in case. He did though contact late in the evening before we were due to leave to confirm his arrival. Our advert specifies that we are rural and a car is essential, Nicolas arrive by train and needed to be collected from the station. Having no car isn't ideal but our initial difficulties and concerns were eased as he is a pleasant , likeable chap and seemed in control of the situation. There was very little communication when we were away. Our flight home was delayed. We had previously agreed that we would return home at around 15hr and that we could drive him to the station to catch his train. We messaged that morning and kept messaging with updates. Once we knew our flight was leaving we told him when we would arrive home; but about 6 hours late. We knew his train would leave 2 hours before we arrived home so we said that if he needed to get the last train he should. When we arrived home the house was spotless, albeit very very cold as Nicolas doesn't like heat. Winnie seemed fine but a little anxious and she had pooped in the house which suggests that she had been locked in for a long time as this is totally not like her. Nicolas has still to read our message about our delayed flight so we have no idea when he left our house. To be fair, our cat was totally fine and happy. And our home was immaculate when we returned. We have no complaints about this BUT communication with your sitter is essential and we feel that Nicolas needs to work on these skills, if for no other reason than to ease the concerns of the pet owners. However, thank you Nicolas for taking good care of our cat and our home and we wish you happy travels in the future

Carole and Sylvain were brilliant Housesitters! They clearly loved all of our animals and they were so well cared for. This is what we wish to have with all of our Housesitters and Carole and Sylvain certainly delivered it in style. We very much enjoyed catching up with them when we returned home. Lunch and a delicious dinner were laid on for us which was really lovely. The morning before they left we went out together for a snorkel at the beach and had a good catch up with everything. We would welcome Carole and Sylvain back to our house at any time and hope that they will want to come and visit us again.

It was a pleasure to have Patricia and Jean Luc staying in our home, a delightful couple who very quickly felt like old friends - our pets adored them and I think were sad to see us come home. The animals were very well looked after and pampered and loved while we were away and our home was also well looked after, beautifully clean and tidy for our return with Jean Luc dealing with some DIY issues that we hadn’t been able to solve - what a star! We will most definitely want to invite them back when they can find a space in their busy itinerary. Thank you very much from all of us

I was very happy with Marianne for being available on such short notice. My previous sitter had canceled, leaving me without a cat sitter a week before the date. Fortunately, Marianne was available, and with her years of experience, I could leave with peace of mind. She was very flexible with scheduling and left the house tidy. I definitely recommend her.

Camille sat for our senior dog for a week. She is friendly and was flexible and accommodating of our travel schedule. She was responsive and kept in touch over the sit and reassured us with updates and photos of our dog. Our home was in perfectly clean condition when we arrived home, which was so lovely. Can easily recommend Camille, we would have her back at ours without hesitation :). Thanks again Camille!

Mayra and her partner are wonderful housesitters on every level. They took great care of our dog and home over Christmas and the new year and were a joy to communicate with. They are lovely, warm, thoughtful and attentive people and we feel really lucky that they were able to come to our home.

Alan,and his wife Mary and daughter Alli were excellent house-sitters and our pet dog was very happy to be looked after by them ! We will happily ask them again in the future

The sit with Melanie went really well! I came back to a happy and relaxed cat :-) the organization and communication was very smooth and she was super accommodating as it was a rather last minute sit. I received updates everyday, so it felt very reassuring. My flat was left tidy and all was perfect! Highly recommend Melanie, thank you for everything! Always welcome at ours 😽

Simon and Eléa looked after our two dogs for two weeks and they were the perfect house and pet sitters. We met on zoom the week prior to the scheduled house-sit and they were warm, engaging and trustworthy from the get-go. Simon and Eléa communicated with us very generously throughout the trip and sent us regular video updates of their adventures and cuddles with the dogs. The dogs were extremely happy and well looked after. The house was left spotless and linen and towels were washed for us upon return. I couldn’t recommend these two more highly!!

This was our second time having these ladies stay with our sweet dogs and it was the absolute best decision. We were gone for three weeks visiting family and never worried for a second about our babies. They sent constant updates, spoiled the dogs, took care of the house and garden, and even made friends with the neighbors. They went above and beyond expectations and may just be our favorite sitters yet. Thanks again ladies you are welcome back anytime.

Emilie, Joel and their niece were wonderful looking after our pets and home! They stayed with us the night before we left as we had a very early flight the following morning. Upon meeting our (very nervous) rescue dog they got on the floor and made her comfortable. By the time we all went to bed our little one was rolling on her side for them to pet! Our cats who are a little scared of all people even appreciated them at times for the trip. Communication was great and our home was incredibly well looked after and clean.
