It was an absolute delight to sit for Peter and Lyn. Looking after Mika was a shear delight. He is such a beautiful cat and loved the human connection, such a joy to be around. We could so easily have taken him with us, but I think they would have missed him!! Lyn and Peter made us extremely welcome into their beautiful home and the Christmas decorations made it even more special for us. There was excellent communication all the way through. We would not hesitate to sit again should the opportunity arise. Thank you Lyn and Peter for choosing us to look after Mika and your home , we had the best time xxx
We absolutely loved this sit. Grady and Faryn are very kind people, and their house has such a great vibe. They made us feel welcome right away. The house guide was detailed and clear. Stella is so sweet. She loves going on walks, chasing her blue ball, sunbathing and getting pet. She’s also a perfect little spoon to cuddle with. Sometimes when I sat at the table working she’d be chilling by my feet. I'd look down and suddenly find her looking up at me. Then she’d lay her head on my thigh. It’s the sweetest thing, like she’s checking in with you. Una is a beautiful and affectionate cat who’s full of character. She loves food and getting pet and she has a different meow for both. She was a little shy when we first met her but she warmed up fast. Soon she would walk out to the edge of the bed for some head massaging anytime you came to her part of the house. She loves to use your hand as a head massager. She does most of the work, lol. What a terrific place if you work from home. There are plenty of rooms to work from. Each one has a different vibe, and they're all peaceful. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. There’s also a great backyard with a roofed patio, so you can work outside if you fancy. We are so grateful to have spent some time here with Stella and Una. Wonderful memories. We highly recommend this sit, and we’d love to petsit for Grady and Faryn again.
Amy’s place is very comfortable and easy to find. She has great WiFi to do my work. UNO is hilarious and will come right up to you and meow when he wants attention. Other than that, he spends a good amount of time outdoors. I would sit for Amy and Uno again.
I had a lovely time minding Delilah for a few weeks. She was good company, hanging out with me as I worked online in the dinning room and cuddling on my lap in the evening. She loves time in their huge garden too. Steve and Rita's house is a beautiful, spotless and spacious deco building, with a very well equipped kitchen and Aga stove to cook on, and to keep the heart of the house warm. My guest room was large, sunny and very comfortable. Their place is in a green and quiet area of the charming town (a city officially) of Wells, easy to walk or drive into town, or to go on country walks. They left me some tempting walk maps but it rained much of the time I was there, and I was still recovering energy post Covid so didn't get to try any. Communication with Steve was clear and fast before and during my stay. I would highly recommend housesitting for them if you are lucky enough to have the opportunity.
Otis!! love you! one of the loveliest and most well-behaved and kindest dogs I took care of. He is very easy-going and all he wants is to have his human nearby. I spent a really fun week with him, taking long walks and enjoying our cozy home time. Earlsfield is well connected to everywhere and the house was really cozy to stay in. Michele is absolutely lovely and friendly too, it was really easy to communicate and they welcomed me warmly.
Jerry & Elaine are fantastic cats to look after. Isobel & Oliver were very friendly and house was in an excellent location. A very pleasant stay.
