Five stars is simply NOT ENOUGH for the care my pets and home got from Andrea and Jeffrey. These two were absolutely over the top amazing, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. Shortly after I’d approved them to cat/house sit for 10 days, my lady cat somehow managed to get a huge cut in her leg that needed stitches in 2 places, 3 kinds of liquid medications twice a day, and occasionally wearing a cone ): so she wouldn’t rip out her stitches. This happened 3 days before our trip. I told Andrea and Jeffrey that if this was more than they could handle (it was definitely more than they signed up for ) that i would understand if they wanted to bail, and in fact, we seriously thought we’d have to cancel all or part of our trip. Well, Nurse Andrea and her sweet man Jeffrey came over for dinner, learned about all the medications, met the cats, and told us they could do it, no problem!! We reluctantly went on our vacation, and Andrea and Jeffrey kept us updated the whole time and nursed our fierce hunter back to health!!! We came home to a healed cat, a totally spotless house, and a bunch of new cat toys!!! I really believe Andrea is an angel and I am so grateful for what they did for us. This is DEFINITELY who you want looking after your pets and your home!!!! 500 stars!
We highly recommend this sit!!! Here’s why: Siobhan and John are extraordinary humans. Not only are they kind, caring, hospitable, and easy to communicate with, they are hilarious, thoughtful, and easy to be around. We are grateful to call these two our friends after getting the opportunity to care for their home and adorable cat, Piper. She is such an easy-going cat. Piper just wants to hangout with you in the lanai each morning, play with her string anytime you want to entertain her, eat her food, and catch lizards. She’s inquisitive, shy, yet playful, and one of the sweetest cats once she gets to know you. Siobhan and John’s home is gorgeous, such an awesome space to relax, and perfectly located to explore Venice and the “Shark Tooth Coast.” This is a sit you should be ecstatic about if you get the chance to meet this awesome bunch!!! We hope to be back again soon ❤️
Binki and Margot are an adorable duo, and we had a wonderful week spending time with them. They are both extremely well trained on walks, loving and fabulous company at home. Sarah was fantastic with communication, so welcoming! She gave us a comprehensive guide and tour and so we felt at ease all the time we were there. It’s a beautiful house and gorgeous location to explore the River Thames from. Both quiet but with lots to do, close to supermarkets and coffee places - couldn’t have asked for more. We would love to housesit here again and would recommend it to dog lovers. Thanks so much for having us Binki and Margot - looking forward to seeing you again!
It was an absolute joy to stay with Leo, Luna, Rosie and Felix. Each with their own unique, endearing, gorgeously goofy and fun characters, the fab four share a deep appreciation for love & snuggles. We had the best time exploring the trails both local and further out with Luna & Leo, who can handle a fast pace and steep elevation gain no problem. The pair are easy passengers when driving to a trail, but equally happy to play ball & frisbee in the field just a block down. Their favourite pass time at home is snuggling into your lap (Luna) or beside you (Leo), they're incredibly affectionate and melt-your-heart sweet. The cats will be found out on the catio or most often in Rosie's case, cozied up on one of her heated beds downstairs. They too love affection, but are also independent. Nate and Meg are fabulous hosts, sharing comprehensive instructions, great on communication and making us feel at home right away. They also kindly allowed us to stay two nights ahead of the sit within their outbuilding guest room + kitchenette, enabling us to explore the city beforehand. We used this time to go into downtown Seattle so that when the sit started we could focus our time on fun with the fluffies. As with any pet sit, the animals come first. Please be aware that the maximum time the dogs can be left alone is around 4hrs, or if pup-friendly, they'd love to join you on a longer adventure. We would highly recommend this sit to others and would gladly stay again. Thank you so much for the privilege of looking after your fluffy family members in your beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful home!!
Lauren’s warm hospitality and kindness made me feel very welcome in your home. Opal was an absolute delight to spend time with and her company was a highlight of my stay! Everything went smoothly during the house sit. The location was just center of Loudoun county, easy access to Ashburn metro and explore other gems in the area!
Risa has a beautiful home and made me feel so comfortable! Paloma is such a sweetheart and warmed up to me immediately. It's also a great neighborhood and close to so many places.
When first speaking with Calum & Dawn and then seeing Laika on video, I suddenly felt that this sit would be a very compatible experience. Upon meeting everyone, it was a comfortable, reassuring and very “chill” atmosphere. Laika is among the most wonderful dogs I have ever met - a truly magical companion. I enjoyed getting to know her each day and looked forward to doing everything from walks to feeding and movie night cuddles on the couch. The walk were relaxed and free among several kilometers of nature walks in a few directions. Laika is excellent off the lead and in the first few days helped me discover all the paths nearby. She enjoyed walks of an hour or more. Anything less felt a bit unsatisfying to her. Laika’s biological clock is very calibrated, I always knew when she wanted something and usually came within the same time each day. Calum & Dawn were exceptionally friendly and relaxed hosts. Their home sits atop a hill with a good two acres of land on a semi-private road. I particularly adored the architecture and the energy of their home felt quite sublime. I cherish the time spent there and in many ways, it was as enjoyable as taking a holiday somewhere.
