There were so many things I liked about Sydney. She commmitted to a very long 3 week sit with our two dogs. She was willing to arrive the night before we left so she would have plenty of time to get to know the dogs and the house. She even offered to take us to the airport the next morning. The house was very clean and tidy when we returned. The dogs were alive and appeared healthy. Unfortunately my neighbor across the street called me at 11:00pm a couple of days before we were scheduled to return to tell me that one of the dogs was at her house. Our tenant who lives downstairs let me know that she became concerned when she saw the dogs roaming the full yard with out Sydney in sight. Our tenant asked Sydney if we had said that was OK and Sydney let her know that the dogs were being watched from inside the house . . . I assume she was watching out the windows and doorways. To be fair, our yard is pretty well fenced in but I did make it clear to Sydney that it was still possible for the dogs to get through the fencing. It was not fully secure. Also, I understand that there was a fair amount of rain but I had let Sydney know where my rain shoes and raincoat and umbrella were so I expected her to be outside whenever the dogs were outside. Overall Sydney was very nice but I wouldn't invite her back to take care of my dogs. I think she would be better suited to care for cats and small dogs that are confined to the house.

Madalina
We feel so lucky we had a chance to petsit for Madalina: she is the best of hosts, we got along immediately because she is a warm, kind and generous person. She made a delicious dinner when we arrived and we had a chance to talk to her and her wonderful family.

The doggies are fantastic: Fyn is the father, he takes a little time to open up to you but when he does he is sweet and enjoys cuddles and attention. The lady of the doggies, Sheba, is really something: she looks at you with such sweetness that really melts your heart. When it's dinner time for her, she does a sort of ballet out of joy.
And here are the puppies: Totto, Tom and Buck. Totto will get straight to your heart and make you want to take him home with you. He's super lively and when you cuddle him he looks like he can stay there forever! Tom is super lively too and looks at you with his sweet eyes (but he can be naughty!), and Buck is sometimes reflexive, sometimes so full of energy you'll have fun playing with him. They really make your stay pure joy!

Madalina's home is very confortable, full of light and has everything you might need (including a super fast, super silent dryer that makes it easy to manage laundry... and a super device to steamwash the floor which was really useful to keep the house clean.)

We are very happy to have met Madalina and grateful that she gave her friendship to us: we hope to see them all again very soon!

Andrea
Andrea was incredibly easy to communicate with and very patient with all our questions. She was also great dealing with the uncertainty of traveling during Covid. Her apartment is warm, bright and comfortable. Marshmallow and Tiger were lovely. The perfect cats who love to snuggle and play but are ok if you want to sleep until 8 a.m. ;) Zurich is a beautiful city with lots to do. We feel incredibly fortunate to have spent time there. Thank you Andrea!

AMAZING!!! This was an unplanned stay, but one that we will forever remember and so glad we changed our plans to make it happen. I love it when a homeowner actually reaches out and "invites" you to come take care of their home and pet.

Josh and Jamie are just the nicest people who you could ever be fortunate to meet and were very accommodating to make this sit happen for both of us. The house was a gorgeous row home on a picturesque street with endless walking trails and parks for us to explore with Winnie. Shockingly, even though we were in the middle of tons of activity, the wildlife was abundant all around us as we got to enjoy geese, fox, deer and even a beaver in this community. The home was immaculately clean, very well equipped with everything you needed to enjoy your stay and an incredible media room.

Winnie, Winnie, Winnie !!! She was a blast !!! She was always up for an adventure, will walk with you forever and ever and ever, does not pull at all, doesn't bark and in fact hardly ever makes a sound unless she is letting you know she needs to go out. She is a nuzzler which is cute as heck when she is laying down with you.

We could go on and on about this sit and the wonderful family and dog, but will just end it with this. If you get the opportunity to sit for Winnie - Just do it ! 😉

We would definitely jump at the chance to take care of Winnie again anytime!!!

Leo is so cute, sweet and fun! He is a pro to communicate what he wants and get what he needs! We love him so much and hard to leave him. But we are lucky to have second sit with him soon. We enjoyed our neighborhood walks, loved hugging him , playing toys with him and watching TV together. Leo’s dad and mom Joe and Taylor are very friendly and helpful! Their house is in quiet neighborhood, it is comfortable and well equipped. We truly enjoyed this sit and would love to come back and hang out with Leo any time.

This was my first sit, and it was such a privilege to look after gorgeous Kaia in her beautiful home. My son who was home from school for Easter, came with me and we both enjoyed Kaia's company and the pretty local village of Glassan. The garden is huge and it was lovely to play outside with Kaia. She has a lovely, gentle nature. We felt very welcome here. Daughter Lucy had the fire on when we arrived and Rob came to stay good-bye as we were leaving. Carmel was in contact before and throughout the stay and gave clear communication. All in all, a wonderful experience. Thank you, Carmel.
