We really enjoyed our time at Rebecca's with Norman & Betsy. They are 2 precious dogs and we had such fun with them. Norman did sleep at the end of our bed one night & that was just fine with us. They were so good when out for a walk and Betsy knew when we were getting close to home and she made a b-line down the hill and home! Rebecca was good about keeping in touch and left all the appropriate bits of information in writing on the counter. Her home is lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the sit. We would definitely sit for Rebecca again.
I had such a great time pet & house sitting for Robyn. Maggie was very sweet and easy to care for. We became instant buddies, she is so cute! I enjoyed walking around her neighborhood and meeting the friendly neighbors. Roxie and Velma are both independent, but they warmed up to me quickly and were great company. Robyn was very kind and gave clear instructions. I was able to meet her prior to the sit and enjoyed meeting her and her fur babies. Her home is very cozy and I felt comfortable there. I work remotely: the wifi was fast and I had no trouble with connection. It is not far from downtown Columbus and easy to get everywhere. I would gladly sit for Robyn again and recommend this sit to anyone considering it! Thanks again!
Marta and Phil have a beautiful home in Bradenton close to all conveniences, restaurants and of course, the beautiful beaches of Anna Maria Island. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like part of their family. They made sure we knew about the house and made sure we had everything needed to be comfortable during our week of petsitting. Their house is in a nice community with a pool, where most of the neighbors know each other. We met many of the neighbors as we were walking Boo, and the neighbors had been told to expect to see us out in the community. We also did some watering around the house since they have a lovely yard and flowers. We fell in love with Boo. He is a little over a year old and full of energy. He has a wonderful way of looking at you and cocking his head like he knows what you are thinking. At times he seemed he could almost talk or wish he could and it was fun trying to figure out what he was trying to tell us. He could play endlessly it seems, but is content to settle down and lay on the floor or the couch with you. We couldn't resist going on walks or runs with him because he was such a fun companion to have out and about. We highly recommend petsitting for Marta and Phil. Of course, you have a great location for petsitting, but Marta and Phil are considerate, friendly and fun to be around and Boo is absolutely a wonderful dog to get to know.
I am so grateful for Mary & Kayvan's hospitality. They have gone above and beyond what mosts hosts do. I met with Mary prior to her departure. She was very welcoming and I felt right at home. Mary’s home is beautiful and clean home. There is an office with super large monitors which was amazing since I work from home and work with a lot of spreadsheets. A huge plus for me was the peloton and free weights, this was great. They even paid for cleaners to come in weekly! Their condo is also located across the train which was super convenient getting into the city. The absolute best part of staying at Mary & Kayvan’s is that you get to hang out with Molly. She is the sweetest gal ever! (no overstatement) She is so well behaved and was the best companion you can ask for. The hardest was saying goodbye to her. Mary & Kayvan, Thank you so much for your hospitality and generosity during my stay, I couldn’t ask for a better host. =)
Remi is an intelligent, playful, handsome dog. I had a great time with him. Ideal for someone who is looking to get fit, Remi could walk/run for hours! Ian & Kat were lovely. Thanks so much for letting me stay, and goodluck with the move!
I had a wonderful time in London with Eugene. He is the sweetest, easygoing cat ever, and a very handsome one too! The apartment was very comfortable and cozy and in an absolute top location in London. The area is lively and fun, with markets, shops and cafes all around the corner. I met Luna and Tom before the sit and they made me feel at home right away and there was great communication throughout my stay. I hope to be back someday! Thanks Luna, Tom and Eugene :)

After we moved to Leander, I lost both my cat sitter and dog boarding services and I searched very hard to find a new pet sitting service for my 3 dogs and 1 cat. Every Pet Gal and Guy we met during our meet & greets gave us the reassurance we needed to trust our fur babies and our home with them. After using Pet Gal’s services 3 times and us having to cancel on them twice and reschedule on them once, I feel ready to leave this review. Every single sitter we’ve had so far truly cares about your fur babies as if they were their own. You receive pictures from every visit with a detailed report of what your babies have been up to. They also make sure that you are matched with sitters who have been able to make the strongest bond with your pets both for your pets’ comfort and for the pet sitters themselves. I have a little mean cat, and Pet Gal has been so patient with her to the point that now she purrs for Pet Guy, Brian! For the times we had to cancel or reschedule our service requests, Debbie and her teammates took care of our changes graciously and with understanding. We just used Pet Gal for a two-week overseas trip. We missed our flight back and were delayed for about 24 hours. Pet Gal was super empathetic and they quickly arranged to extend our service and continue to watch our babies. I can trust Pet Gal especially Brian, Wanda, and Claudia with my pets’ life and my home, and I don’t know if I can say that for anyone else ever!

The Pet Gal has been my go-to since moving to TX in 2017. Staff are incredibly professional, responsive and reliable. They go above and beyond. I always look forward to the pictures and commentary I get when I am away. I can count on my cats being taken care of, but also getting the extra nurturing and play time that makes their day special. Services are worth every penny!
We used Pet Gal to watch our 5 dogs while on a 10 day vacation. We had 3 scheduled visits each day. Our assign pet sitter was Ginger. She came for an initial visit prior to our vacation to introduce herself, meet us and our pups, and find out their routines. She was extremely friendly and genuinely excited to meet us and out pups. Definitely put us at ease knowing we made the right choice! During our vacation, for each visit, Ginger sent us a long narrative about how the visit went, bathroom info for each pup, how they ate, and issues, and included a collage of 10 to 15 pictures of our pups. This was every visit (3 times per day for 10 days)!!!! When one of our pups got sick, she cleaned it, when one has leaky eyes from allergies, she took care of it. She even hand fed one of our "entitled" pup when he refused to eat with the others like he doesn't when we are home. She went above and beyond our expectations. We will definitely be using Pet Gal in the future. I would recommend Ginger every day and twice on Sunday! She is the best and we were lucky to have her!!!
The Pet Gal experience was a fantastic one! The company is first of all run very professionally and in an organized fashion with an excellent web site, communication portal, payment system etc. We had our sitter come twice and day and EACH TIME received a specific list of all that she had done, as well as a written commentary and several photos to keep us up to date. This was via the website portal, email AND text! More importantly, the pet caretaker that took care of our brood, Stephanie, was amazing. She was absolutely on top of all the detailed instructions to care for our SIX cats (one with major health issues and maintenance needs), as well as our outdoor critters, garden and complex home. We hadn't done any major travel since COVID, which is when we managed to accrue all the cats that wandered up, so we were unsure if we would have the freedom to resume our traveling lifestyle again - but Stephanie and The Pet Gal have shown that there ARE folks out there who have the capability, responsibility and kindness to do the job. We highly recommend them!
Pet Gal does an amazing job and for us they are the best of the various pet sitting services. Of course its the sitters that make all the difference and for Donna and Rebecca have been amazing. We really appreciate their care of our three dogs. I think another difference is the care that Pet Gals uses in selecting sitters and also the extra training such as dog behavior that they provide. You can really tell the difference. Finally the prices are affordable and booking is convenient. Update: As i've said previously, Pet Gal is an amazing. Over time, we've had different sitters but everyone is so awesome.

My dogs had a great experience boarding at Camp Bow Wow for 2 weeks. The staff was very friendly and Ren was especially helpful! Booking was straightforward. The cameras were a plus.
Camp Bow wow is amazing 🤩 My Australian Shephard spends a full day here a few times a week. There’s always a staff member with all the dogs to keep things moving and fun. My dog is always tired out and ready to eat/sleep. He seems to really enjoy it here. Their bath options are great and all prices are reasonable. Highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for anyone looking for a great place to let your dog be a dog! 🐕

Both of my dogs - high energy Nordic breeds- are enjoying their time at Camp Bow Wow. They come home tired giving me a day off from their super charged walking demands. They also love the enrichment activities. I’ve used Camp Bow Wow in Colorado and was so excited when a camp opened near me. Love this place and the Camp Bow Wow crew are very kind.
Can’t say enough good places about this place! It’s so clean, our dog always has a great time, they have cameras that you can log into during the day - even watching the staff interact, they truly love the dogs. They have tons of activities for the dogs. Overall great! Recently we needed to go to Dallas SUPER last minute and we contacted them for a night of boarding and they responded quickly with no issues. Highly recommend!
I took my furbaby ( Bella) to camp bow wow for her initial interview. I found the business to be very clean and well organized. The cat mplete staff were very professional and courteous. The nice part is also the closed caption tv they have for monitoring your pet.my pup will definitely be staying there in the future.

The staff was friendly, informative, and displayed a true passion for the proper care of the pets under their supervision. We can't wait for our first play day!
This is the place to be if you are seeking a boarding or dog day care in the Leander area! From the minute I entered Hounds Town, I felt so welcome and immediately knew Snoopy would be in good hands. The staff were so friendly and inviting. They are great about providing updates and answering any questions you may have. I will definitely be returning soon.

Hounds Town Leander is the place I e been looking for all my pet owning years. They truly care about your dog and make every effort to show it. Quinn loves this place and has zero issues with going and hanging out. We use the daycare, grooming and boarding facilities regularly. Love this place and its people.

Leander Pet Care has been watching over our German Shepherd and Corgi/mix fur babies for over two years! They have been VERY accommodating to last minute pet care requests and scheduling changes and have always given us peace of mind knowing our pups are in good hands. Our dogs absolutely love when Lauren or her team comes because they get spoiled with so much play time in and outside. Our GSD has a medical condition that require he sit to drink and eat in his Bailey Chair and they have been able to accommodate and work with him since day one. We use Leander Pet Care for overnight stays when we are on vacation and for daily drop ins. We can always look forward to our visit update with AMAZING pictures of our dogs. Lauren and Tony are absolutely amazing to say the least. When we moved back to Texas we did not know anyone to watch out pittie, Bandit. We don't trust just anyone to come in to our home as well as treat our dog with the same love and care we do. We are strict with our training and they followed every rule we had in place. Pitties get back reps and from the moment we met Lauren and Tony, they made us feel completely comfortable and Bandit loved them both. We work 12, 14 even 24 hour shifts. Lauren and Tony would come and take Bandit out of his kennel, take him for walks, feed him, play with him and return him to his kennel no matter what the weather was doing. I even received report cards and pictures so I knew he was cared for during our absence. They have even gone above and beyond to help when we were out of town and brought in our packages and shut our garage door for us that we forgot to close. When Bandit passed they were very empathetic. When we adopted another pittie, Dandy. They were just as amazing even though she had so much more energy than Bandit. She loved them as much as we do! We have since moved, but would highly recommend them to everyone!

I have been using Leander Pet Care to care for my fur babies for years and highly recommended them! When I brought home a new puppy, Lauren puppy sat while I was at work and helped me with potty training and puppy socialization. She did such an amazing job, my puppy was potty trained in no time! Lauren is a such an incredible business owner and takes pride in running a quality business. I know anyone that hires Lauren will be so happy they did!
We were new to the area, we knew no one. Had to leave town unexpectedly and leave our pup behind. Our pup joined our family during covid so she has never know what it is like to be alone. We were so nervous. Lauren and her team came to the house to meet us, see if there was anything they could do for us in addition to caring for our baby. They offered to water plants, adjust lighting, whatever was needed. We we out of town for over a week. Every visit we were provided details of the visit and photos. I felt our one year old doodle was truly being fed, walked and LOVED. If you love your dog like we do, trust Lauren and her team to continue that same care in your absence.
I can not say enough positive things about Leander Pet Care (LPC). I recently took a ten day trip and I worried at the thought of leaving my dog at a boarding kennel where she would not have individualized attention. I had not been away from her except for a few overnight trips where she stayed with a neighbor. I found LPC online and liked that they have menu options allowing you to have them come as little or often as you like. They gave me an online update with photos after each visit. The daily reporting gave me great comfort in knowing my pets (dog, cat and turtle) were very well taken care of. Dan, the sitter, was punctual and stayed for the entire time requested when I set up the visits (I know this from seeing my Ring doorbell monitor!). He walked the dog several times each day, played with her, and paid great attention to the cat. I will definitely use LPC again!
I'm very impressed with the level of care and companionship given to the pets. All of the employees are so loving and patient with them. They are reliable and send regular updates with pictures. I would recommend Leander Pet Care to anybody needing a pet sitter or anybody with dog walking needs. I am confident the employees will do their very best.
With the best of hopes & intentions we arranged for Lauren to visit our Shelby & Townes while we went to Midlothian from 8/31-9/2. The occasion was a 20 year vow renewal & my sister, brother in law drove from Plattsburgh, NY, 2400 miles for the occasion. Planning had begun over 6 mos earlier, the venue, catering, the chaplain, hotel & many other details were deliberated and decided. We met with Tony & Lauren, introduced our furred family members... everything seemed spot on. We were gone 24 hours and the 1st morning Lauren had trouble getting Townes back inside. He's a 13 month old GSD who has not been around anyone other than my partner & myself (thanks to the pandemic). We have a guest house across our driveway & a friend was house sitting. We were in touch with Lauren during this difficulty with our GSD & even had our friend bring Lauren $100 at her 1st morning visit. Twelve hours later that evening she called and stated that Townes had leapt upon the hood of her 'NEW' car and destroyed the paint. She stated that she was in the process of obtaining 2 estimates and that we would be liable for the expense of repainting & bodywork. We received texts, photos... so our 1st venture out since Covid ended with us returning a mere day into the trip. I had to borrow my brother in law's truck to return & had to get it back prior to 11AM. We got back at midnight set out again at 0730 with two vehicles to Midlothian. In all we made (5) 165 mile trips back and forth, 3 were as a result of incomprehensible actions on Lauren's part. We talked to Tony the morning after we returned. He asked me if Townes was OK first, he then said that he couldn't believe that Lauren had approached us about the car, that their insurance had already covered whatever she alledged had happened. He stated additionally that his belief was that our GSD was in no way responsible for Lauren's car difficulties & doubted that whatever occured had happened at our premise. He also said we had overpaid them & was hoping we would use them again stating that he would be the one to personally care for our dogs in the future. He spoke about their reputation/credibility in the canine community as something of importance. We contacted Lauren and said that we didn't feel comfortable with her coming to our home & that we no longer needed her services. In spite of that as we were returning to Midlothian we passed her on the hill to our home. Afterwards she called saying there was a new lock on our gate. We reiterated that her behavior had required our return home canceling our trip. Our friend in the guest house had gone to her the 1st morning (in proximity to her vehicle)at our home to tender an additional $100 and he stated unequivocally that the car was undamaged. At that point she had visited our dogs on the evening of the day we left & the following morning only and Lauren had received $190.00. I had intended to provide another one hundred at the successful conclusion of our trip. After all this it took a while to sink in, months of planning, all the expense for nothing because of a $$ grab. I then contacted Tony and stated that I felt it incumbent upon them to at least return the fee & provided notice of my intent . Leander Pet Care in addition to not responding did not even return our house and gate keys requiring replacement and instalation of 2 keyed entry & 2 deadbolts as well as the gate lock. Let this serve as notice of intent to bring this issue to Justice/Small Claims Court. If you read this & still choose L. P. C. I pray you have better luck than we did. Additionally our GSD puppy was injured having his rear leg cut in multiple spots as well as being swollen to twice it's normal size. Lauren, Tony said not a single word to dignify how this had happened while under their care forcing me to ask rhetorically, 'are these the actions of professionals & would you want your canine family members & home treated this way?' ·
Pam and her staff are the best. They took great care of my 8 month old Aussie. Love that they have daycare so that she wasn’t stuck in a kennel all day. I am excited that I have found a place that I trust leaving my fur baby. It shows that the staff love and care for the animals. The groomer is excellent and prices are very reasonable.
I LOVE this place! We moved to Leander last year and needed to find a new boarding spot for our dog asap and immediately went and toured Paws Landing. The owner Pam is amazing and truly loves all the dogs and cares for their well being. She sends me the cutest pictures of him while he is there and I love that he gets to be outside all day instead of locked up like at our last place. He comes home happy and tired every time. We also get him cleaned at the end of his stays so he’s also squeaky clean. I could not recommend this place more! Thank you for all you do Pam!
Pam and the staff at Paws Landing treat my babies like their own and I never worry leaving them while I’m out of town! I’ve been bringing my pups there since she opened her doors and I won’t bring them anywhere else. They always come home happy and worn out. The facility is clean and brand new. We are very happy with the quality care our dogs received at Paws Landing! The facility was well staffed with knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive pet care-givers. In addition, we found Paws Landing to be very clean and well maintained for comfort, supervision, and other pet services. They had a variety of spacious kennels and several playtime/exercise areas; both inside and outside. The staff sent a daily update with pictures, which certainly made us feel at ease while we were away. Our dogs came home happy and relaxed. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and loving place to board their pet!
Update: I really hate that I have to change my 5-star review. In fact, this is the first negative review I’ve ever given on any social media platform. However, after a 2-night boarding stay turned into a bill of over $600, half a day off work, and a pup in pain who had to suffer through two weeks of the cone of shame with absolutely no consideration from the owner, Pam, I feel obligated to share my experience. We boarded our dog, Sam, at Paws Landing for two nights, with added-on daycare. Sam has been going to Paws Landing for daycare, boarding, and grooming since last September. In fact, I wrote positive reviews for them on multiple media platforms and would always recommend them because, like so many others, I thought Pam was so sweet. I guess it’s easy to give off that impression when everything is going right. On this particular stay, Sam ended up getting bitten by another dog during doggy daycare. Pam called me later that day (Saturday 7/27/24) to inform me about the bite. Looking back, I should have realized how strange it was that she called me later in the day instead of immediately after it happened. She mentioned that he was acting like it hurt but was still doing okay, and was even still participating in doggy daycare until they finally had to pull him out because all the other dogs were trying to lick his injured ear. She mentioned that they weren’t able to get a good look at the ear because he would growl when they tried, but they were doing their best to keep it clean, and she recommended taking him to the vet on Monday to possibly get an antibiotic to prevent infection. Although it wasn’t the news we wanted to hear, we’re reasonable people—we understand that these things can happen. Pam reassured me that Sam seemed to be doing just fine, and I trusted her to let me know if anything was wrong. Sunday night, we got back in town, and my husband picked Sam up. They got home, and you could immediately smell the infection and see he was in quite a bit of pain. First thing Monday morning, I called the vet and got him an appointment. After taking him in, I emailed Pam to give her an update and ask if the owner of the other dog would be covering the vet bill. She replied, “According to the Paws Landing waiver that every parent signs, it states letting parents know of the risk of dogs getting into scruffles amongst each other while here. I am giving her an extra star for offering to cover part of the vet bill “if need be.” Even though I feel it was an empty gesture, I will still give her credit. Honestly, it’s not even about the cost. We understand that things like this can happen with dogs. We’re upset because, after being loyal clients for almost a year, she hasn’t even had the decency to follow up with us ONCE to find out if Sam was okay. The last thing she knew, he was being sedated so they could check on his injuries. It has been over three weeks and still NOTHING. Due to this and the fact that his injuries were downplayed (if we had known his ear was already getting infected and that he was in that much pain, we would have come home early from San Antonio or had our emergency contact pick him up and take him to get checked out), we will NEVER be back and are no longer recommending this establishment to anyone.
My boy has been going to Paws Landing for daycare for almost a month now, and he absolutely LOVES it! It’s so nice to know that he’s well taken care of and loved on while I’m at work. Miss Pam and all of the employees are so friendly and take time to answer any questions I had about his day. We will continue coming here for as long as possible!
Do not board your pets at this boarding. Horrible experience. Cleanliness & hygiene at this facility is a big question mark. I have boarded my dog before at other places but this place was for first time. When I picked up my dog after 6 days, he had lost over 4 pounds weight. I had given measured food for 6 days and I got half of his food back. It appeared they don’t care and pay attention to feeding details (which was just 2 times a day). Also, after reaching home, I noticed my dog has caught skin infection. He never had any such experience before. I noticed he was dirty and gave him bath immediately, but his skin & fur was already infected. He has lost fur on his cheek, chin and face shoulder and back. Still recovering after 2 weeks and multiple vet visits. Horrible experience.
Ziggy has been going to Paws Landing for about a month a now. When I drop off the kids at school Ziggy gets dropped off at daycare. He is in LOVE! Pam and her team truly love pets and it’s evident; check out the pics I get. The space is exceptional; clean, well thought out and really meant for all types of dogs and cats. Ziggy comes home relaxed (last pic, sitting on his chair at Home). Paws Landing has been an amazing add to our area. If that’s not enough, they also offer grooming services. Ziggy enjoyed Kristy too (first pic, his hair shined!) Don’t think twice of booking at Paws Landing, you won’t regret it….any service any day. Pam and her team will take good care of your pets.
Can confidently leave our pet knowing he’s going to have the best time and get spoiled all day! The team keeps the pups active & clean — plenty of space for them to zoom around but also tons of kennel options for your animal depending on their temperament. I appreciate the separate lawn space for pups that can’t be with other dogs, too. Lastly, the picture updates are the best! ♥️
I never leave reviews but I have to say this is the best boarding/day care center around. The most recent visit we had we decided to board our dog 15 minutes before we dropped him off. They also will occasionally send you photos of your pup! The last minute accommodation makes us customers for life! Great customer service! Dont go anywhere else!
Otto our boxer recently stayed with Shady Acres over the weekend while we were out of town and he had a great time! We are so thankful Shady Acres was able to accommodate our last minute request to board him. We will definitely be back soon for daycare and more boarding! They made the process so easy and helped us during a very stressful time considering our prior boarding facility canceled our reservation 4 days before our trip, at no fault of our own after 11 years of sending multiple dogs there. We are super thankful we found a new and safe environment for Otto to play and stay! He came home exhausted and super clean! Thank you Shady Acres!
We boarded our dogs there from 12/26-12/31, so during the busy holiday season. They are always very responsive over text which is always great/easy to receive updates and the staff was very friendly when we went in for evaluation. There was a miscommunication over billing (which was primarily my fault) and they refunded us even though they didn’t need to, and more than they needed to as the issue was again primarily my fault. They did it quickly and with a friendly note. I’d definitely board with them again off their customer service alone, especially during a really busy period. Thanks Shady Acres!
We absolutely loved our experience with Shady acres pet Ranch. We dropped our German Shepherd off for a three week training with Ashleigh and he came back a new dog. He’s doing wonderful at home. Ashleigh sent us multiple updates per week as well as pictures and videos of his training progress. We were able to visit and practice training with him in between, he really enjoyed their dog pool and we got to see what he was learning in real time. Would highly recommend!
Love this place, and more importantly my golden comes back home happy every time he’s stayed here. I used to board Simba at Action Pack in Round Rock, but they got too greedy for me, their staff changed too often and their service went to d0g$. I am so glad I found an even better environment for a competitive price and within 10 mins drive from home. Shady acres as long as Simba comes back with a smile, you have a loyal customer in me 🙏🙏🙏
My dog had diarrhea when taken home. Based on comments of staff my pet appeared as if she was going to snap at other dogs. My pet goes to the dog park and never has a problem. I then asked if my dog had outside time and staff indicated they did the best they could. When picking up my pet it took staff 20 minutes to find her. Very scary. This was a 6 day boarding stay. Provided 6 bags of food and they returned 4. Not impressed.
Non favorable admin changes. I boarded my dogs several times in this facility and I was always happy until this time. They usually fed them separately at no cost and this time they charged us an additional fee which was not in the first quote or on its website. They told me when I was there ready to go to the airport. What option do you have on that moment? Secondly, they used to send a full report about their interactions and behavior during their stay but this time the card was updated the date they arrived and with less information. How do I know how they were during the whole stay? In addition, there were no post on IG, no picture no web cam working. For the amount they charge, I would expect to know how my dogs were. The only reason I would come back is because I had good experience in the past and I just wish this new administration takes notice that what put them in business is the good service they used to have. If you are a frequent client, be aware of these greedy changes.
Last two times I have picked up my dog here he has been an absolute mess. This most recent time after Christmas was probably the worst he has ever smelled. He smelled like a toilet. This was after they "bathed him" before releasing him. He never has accidents at home or when he stays with friends so to say he had an accident on himself tells me he either got the wrong food or he is not being let outside enough.
2016 - 2018: We average a week several times a year. They love it. Also, and this so adorable, they give you a report card. I love that and I send it to my friends and family. They also have grooming. I have them bathe my dogs on the last day. The staff is very friendly and are genuinely interested in the dogs. They don’t have a lot of turn over, so when we drop them off our dogs recognize the staff. I feel totally secure about their well-being and happiness. 2018 - 2021: Sadly one of our dogs, Bear, got hit by a car and passed away. Riley took it really hard. About a week later we traveled and left Riley with them. I felt terrible about it, but they sent me photos of him having fun. I very much appreciated their thoughtfulness. We’ve boarded Riley many times since. 2021 - present: I’ve had good luck being able to board him kinda last minute, but I’m sure to book him as soon as I know our plans. I’ve even booked him months in advance.
Great service and care. My dog has a blast every time he's at Shady Acres. You can tell how the staff takes care of pets like they're their own. I've been taking my fur baby here for the last two years and we keep coming back! Highly recommended!
We just had our first playtime at Shady Acres and Peanut Butter LOVED it! He was SO HAPPY when I picked him up and he was SO TIRED in the evening after a long day of playing with new pup-friends. I really liked the daily sheet that came home with him, too! We are new in town and are so happy to find a place like Shady Acres for our pup. We will definitely be regulars!
I have been a customer of Pet Gal for a number of years. Due to leg problems, I needed someone to walk my Golden Doodle and Pet Gal has provided a totally reliable and wonderful dog walker whenever I need them. They have been flexible when I needed to move our scheduled time and they ALWAYS show up. My dog loves her walker and gets so excited when she sees her. They are careful, safe and trustworthy with my beloved pet and I look forward to seeing them for every visit.

Our Husky dog loved his pet sitters. They really paid attention to the schedule that I had him on and we were gone for a week. He is quite a handful of energy and love and Pet Gals were so loving to him and he was walked on time, fed on time and put to bed on time. They are the most caring sitters I have ever used and I will use them every time I need someone for my dear dog.

I have used The Pet Gal for my pet sitting needs for the past 8 years and have always been exceptionally pleased! I have a large and diverse fur and feather family which has changed over the years. Pet Gal Ginger is my main sitter and is always caring and meticulous, providing care for my elderly dogs before they passed and showing patience for my younger dogs. I love the fact that I receive a notification when my sitter arrives and an update with photos after the visit. Scheduling with the software is easy and efficient. It is always hard for me to leave my pet family, but I also always know they receive exemplary, professional care with The Pet Gal!

I would highly recommend The Pet Gal for everyone! My sitter, Suzy, is the absolute best! I knew by the meeting I had with her that my cat would be in great care with her. She has gone above and beyond being so sweet to my cat and taking care of my place. I was also impressed by how detailed her daily messages were which definitely alleviated my anxiety when I had to be away. Id rather not deal with the hassle and prices of pet boarding. Pet gal has great service at reasonable prices. Debbie took care of my cat Angel Bae, even after she experienced an unexpected event in her personal life. She sent me pictures of her eating and playing, and a detailed overview of her visit. I would definitely recommend the Pet Gal services and will use them again since I prefer my pet to have one on one care in the comfort of home!
Sheryl and Tom took great care of Decy, Dexter and Butters during our recent trip to Europe. We checked in a couple of times and were given updates for peace of mind. They feed a great quality dry food and have nice and clean kennels for all of the dogs staying with them. Our three dogs shared a run and likely had a great time beyond imagination. Easy to locate facility; big sign at the entrance of the road. Sheryl is very quick to respond to text and emails. It was my first time boarding with Sheryl & Tom and will send my furkids to board with them from now on. Tom allowed me to bring my kids back to the kennel area and made sure my pups were able to use the doggie door okay. The kennels are clean with plenty of room for two 60 lb dogs to board together in. I saw kennel workers inside the kennels showing some love and attention to pups in the kennels. Many places claim that they will spend time with your pups but you never know if they do. I am so happy to finally find a boarding facility that will take great care of my pups. Thank you Sheryl & Tom!
Our dog is happy here! Shertom is a wonderful place! The kennel settings are perfect with a personal yard attached to each dog's room. They also walk them out to the common territory. I couldn't ask for a better doggy daycare!
I am brand spanking new to Texas and in search for a place to board my dog while I wait to move in my new home. It turned from two weeks to 4-5 weeks and on top of that it was during the snow storm. Not only did they take great care of my dog, but they made sure every dog had heat, was protected from the cold , and stored plenty of water in case of emergency. My dog was happy there and the owners couldn't be more kind and pleasant. I would recommend this place. Reasonable prices and great care. You cant beat that :- )
Left our pups for two nights. Tom and Sheryl have such a nice place. Very clean and it's obvious all the fur babies are well cared for. Our pups were worn out from the running and playing and slept like babies when we got them home. I was worried to board them after a previous experience elsewhere. The last place I used, my pup was so angry with me that he turned his back and snubbed me for days! lol
This was the best boarding place i have used. The pups have a lot of space with a large dog run. Owners were great and knew each dog by name. They were very easy to contact and flexible. I had my 2 dogs boarded for a month and felt like they were in great hands. I would highly recommend this kennel.
I've boarded my dog here a few times since I moved just down the road. While the location is very convenient for me, I've continued to use Shertom primarily because Tom and Sheryl have been great to work with, and I trust them with my dog. It's nice being able to fire off an email to them at any time to check on booking a reservation. My dog also takes medication each day, and while other places have attempted to charge me to have them administer the pill (it isn't anything difficult), Shertom happily does this without any issues...even providing the pill pockets since my dog won't eat this one particular pill on its own.
Very courteous and professional team. Take very good care of our dogs. We have boarded 3 dogs here multiple times and are delighted with the service. Facilities are excellent with real space for the dogs to move - both inside and outside space in kennels. Completely different from some other places where animals are effectively kept locked in crates most of the day.
Our two dogs love it here! They really get excited as we turn onto Fawn Ridge Drive. The kennels and runs are big, giving our pooches a sense of open-air freedom that I've not seen at other places. Sheryl and Tom are very accommodating and we know our dogs are in great hands during their stay.
We boarded our dog for the first time while we went to Florida, and we were very pleased with how happy our dog seemed when we picked him up. He normally is so stressed to stay anywhere, but I can tell Shertom Kennels was the perfect place for him. He ate well, played hard, and that's what we wanted for him. Picked up a very happy dog. Will use this place for many years to come.
I can't say enough good things about Happy Tails. They have taken incredible care of my dog, Lilli, for both short and long-term boarding stays, and she always comes home happy and in great condition. Even though she's a little wrecking ball of energy, she has the best time in daycare, and they always make sure she’s well taken care of. I was especially grateful for their care when she had surgery and I had to travel out of the country – they went above and beyond to ensure she was comfortable and well-looked after during that time. The manager is truly fantastic and always takes great care of my fur babies. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and fun environment for their dogs! We are so glad that we found Happy Tails Pet Resort. We had never left our dog anywhere before so we were obviously nervous. They made the entire process smooth and we felt extremely comfortable leaving him. We had him in a luxury suite and were able to watch him on the app (which became addicting). Highly recommend Happy Tails!
I took my two chihuahua’s to Happy Tails for pet daycare. The staff was fabulous and took excellent care of the boys. They were patient with my questions and made sure I had all of the information prior to booking. When I picked up my two pups I could see they had a great time. I also got a report card detailing how their time was, really impressed with the care given to my dogs and to me. I highly recommend Happy Tails.
Took my dog for a trial run of doggie daycare to help her socialization, barrier reactivity, and stranger danger. I got an honest report card and she did amazing! She made friends and there were names of her friends listed on the report card. It was so sweet! She was exhausted after her day. The staff was friendly and accommodating! They have deals for their daycare packages! 10/10 recommend :)
Love this pet resort. We have left our dog for boarding at Happy Tails when we are out of town going on six years now. They take wonderful care of her. They send us picts and reports about how she is doing during her stays. We greatly appreciate the special care & love they give to our dog(Echo).
Last year I posted about how well Brittany and Lyric took care of 2 traumatized dogs that we had inherited when their owner passed away. This year the dogs are much happier, but Spicey had a badly dislocated heel that has required surgery and 3 months of aftercare. Yesterday she was finally able to be groomed, but we were nervous about it. Lyric reassured us that she would keep pressure off the foot and keep Spicey from jumping off a table. Spicey can now cope with the summer heat as well as her previously groomed sister! Lyric and Brittany both are great with dogs and nervous parents. The office staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful. Happy Tails is fabulous.
I had great communication via text and email before our first visit. When we arrived everyone was so nice and professional. The facilities are very clean and safe looking for the animals. The person at the desk took the time to explain that the groomer would call me and confirm what I wanted for the hair cut. Natalie was very attentive when she called and my dog looked the best he ever has when I picked him up. I felt the prices were fair, they do day care and boarding also so it could be one stop shopping so to speak. I like the fact that a vet founded it and that it has been there since around 2017. I will tell everyone to utilize this place! I def pre-booked with Natalie!
I wish I could give more stars. We have a pet who is very anxious and selective with people. He snaps when someone he's not sure of, handles him. With time he warms up and is really a lovely little pup. Happy Tails handled our dog with great care. They understood his needs and the time taken to get acquainted with people. They slowly and consistently established a relationship with him when he was boarded there. The staff even helped us understand what his triggers were and how to handle such situations. Our relationship with our pet has improved tremendously after we boarded him at Happy Tails. We highly recommend the place!
One of the best grooming establishments out there. Very professional and caring. Prices are comparable to other places, if not a little cheaper, and I love the small boutique feel of the business. The groomers are all amazing and do great work!
100% top notch facility! My pet sitter for my recent trip fell through less than 18 hours before I was set to depart on a trip to the east coast. My dog had also never been to a boarding facility or even doggy daycare because she can be dog aggressive. I was referred here from Taurus Academy because they are under the same ownership, but Happy Tails didn't require a preliminary evaluation. I'll admit, I was very nervous, but they were able to set her up in a luxury suite with 24 hour surveillance. They had lots of enrichment activity options and sent daily photos as well. They even had a Halloween photo shoot option! When I arrived to retrieve Dixie, she received a very warm goodbye from one of the employees there. They did such a good job and really put this dog momma at ease. Based on my observations, Dixie wasn't even exhibiting anxious behavior. They have given me confidence in boarding and I will absolutely recommend them and use their services again.
Priscilla was very nice during our visit prior to my dog boarding for the weekend. She did an amazing job investing into her at home dog boarding facility and put in TONS of work to her property to ensure a safe / sanity experience for the dogs. I appreciate her for allowing me to pick up my dog past her curfue time the same day. I was coming back from South Padre and hit unexpected traffic. She sent photos and had a fast response time. Definitely will be using her services again 💗

Priscilla is the most animal loving person I’ve ever met. The best part about her pet sitting company, is that she has renovated over half of her home to accommodate sheltering your beloved dog (including her huge - fenced in, back yard) That alone gives me the comfort of knowing there will always be someone there with my dog in case anything happens.
Priscilla was AMAZING!! She constantly sent updates and pictures of our fur baby while we were away. This was the longest we had been away/boarded our dog, and we were so nervous at first. We felt immediate relief after dropping him off, knowing he was in great hands. Priscilla is very adamant on intervals inside/outside which is amazing with the crazy Texas heat, I love that there’s an indoor option! The last place we boarded had no indoor options, and you could tell he was overheated as soon as we picked him up. Oliver is very anxious and has some unique quirks ;) and Priscilla was so accommodating and patient with him. 10/10 recommend, I wish 6 stars was an option!
Priscilla did an amazing job watching my girl Haru. I was super nervous about leaving her since this was my first time boarding her, but Priscilla put my mind at ease. She sent update pics at least once a day and quickly responded to any questions that I had. By day 2 it looked like Haru was having the time of her life. When I went to pick her up, she was very excited to see me, but wanted to go back inside to play with her new friends 🤣. I was a little butt hurt, but that just shows what a great time she had at Right at Home.
My furbaby DJ has extremely high anxiety! But they were and have always been soooo extremely patient with him. This is my 2nd visit and after this visit I was even told he has improved from the first time he visited. Their service is super affordable and they take extremely good care of your furbabies! If you looking for someone to look after your furbabies while on a trip or even just to have a mini break, I highly recommend them 10/10!! They are the absolute best!!❤️❤️❤️
I recently boarded my Shih Tzu, Ojo, with Priscilla for 5 days while I was on vacation in Cancun, and I can't express how grateful I am to have found such a wonderful place! Ojo is a bit of a diva and can be picky about where she stays, but Priscilla made her feel right at home. I recieved daily updates with photos, which was such a relief knowing Ojo was happy, playing, and well taken care of. It’s clear that Priscilla genuinly loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. Ojo came home relaxed, happy, and tired from all the fun she had. I’m so thankful to have found a place I can trust completly, and I’ll definetly be using her services again in the future. Highly reccomend!
First time for my fur baby bear to be sitter & I was a little nervous at first but Priscilla made me feel so comfortable as for him as well that he will be fine. Overall he loved it I loved how she updated us with pictures and how he was doing he looked so happy in the pictures playing with other fur babies ❤️ Im so thankful to Priscilla for taking good care of him. I definitely recommend her 100%.

Our Husky has a personality and a half, and Priscilla and Jedidiah take such great care of him. They send photos of him playing with his friends, which gives us so much peace of mind when we're away from him. He can be a pretty silly pup, and they're patient with him. They have a great home-style boarding set-up and it's clear that their home is created for the dogs. We can't wait to stay with them more.
Our pups, Saaz and Perle, LOVE My Love Fur Paws! The Staff is so friendly and you can tell they actually care about the animals and know their unique personalities. We use MLFP for play-care as well as for boarding, and the pups always come home happy and tired! We utilize their add ons often - like pack walks and ball time! We’ve referred several friends to MLFP, and all of them have become loyal and frequent clients!

My Love Fur Paws is the best boarding facility we've ever used for our dog, Mochi. She has boarded multiple times with them, and it's the only place she gets excited about when we're going out of town. The staff at My Love Fur Paws are incredibly caring and treat Mochi like their own. She absolutely loves her walks, pack walks, and group playtime, which keeps her active and happy. The facilities are always clean and well-maintained, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all pets. Mochi always comes back happy and well-cared for, which gives us great peace of mind. I’ve been bringing my dog, Shasta here since she was 6 months old. They are wonderful to her and have taught her dog manners. She was a stray and needed a lot of work and they have done so much for her! I’m so grateful for My Love Fur Paws!
Our 9 month old pup, Birdie, just recently completed the 6 week ‘play and train’ where she went 2x a week for 6 weeks and enjoyed the doggy day care and 1-on-1 training with Mike. She came home everyday day exhausted, which is saying a lot for this energetic pup and I joined the training sessions every Monday so I can replicate the training at home. She’s really improved her loose leash walking, staying in her “place”, sitting before walking through thresholds and recall. We continue to send Birdie there weekly because she loves it so much and to re-enforce those newly learned skills.
This is a terrific daycare and boarding facility for my dogs Iris, Allie and Brandi. I always feel confident leaving my girls there because the staff is professional, kind & I trust my girls will be safe while I’m gone. Nothing beats peace of mind.

I love My Love Fur Paws - Spicewood! They have done wonders for my rescued dog. She was really unsure of other dogs on our daily walks but after just a few sessions of play here she is a new pooch! She has found the love of her life here too. We go once a week for a 1/2 day session and get the frozen Kong during the stay. The photos they post really make my day, you can clearly see she is loving her time and has the biggest smile on her face while she is there. Thankful for these guys.
We recently started using daycare for our Jessie girl and have had an amazing experience! She was adopted just over three months ago and really needed some more socialization beyond just being with us - especially kennel time. By her second visit she was like peace out and gladly went with the team to the back to get her day started. I don’t know that I can put an amount on the cost of relief I feel knowing that my girl is loved and cared for when she’s at daycare. 100/5 stars
