We had an okay experience with Hannah. We have ring cameras so we noticed she was gone a lot and for long periods of time. I actually had to call on my neighbors twice to let the dogs out. There were many times that she only let the dogs out for minutes at a time. I realize when people come to stay at your home they want to see the area and visit friends which is fine, but we do expect the care of our pups to come first. We did not get that feeling from Hannah.
Wonderful. Wonderful. Wonder full. Harley and Smokey were wonderful companions. Harley took a while to speak(!) but was affectionate from the start, especially on the sofa during the day. Smokey was a delight from the beginning and took on nights as the time they were super affectionate and cuddly. Well-rounded cat time! Kirsten and Rick's house is fun and comfy, even in the midst of winter. The views, especially sunset over bay, amazing! Rick and Kirsten were entertaining and easy to speak with, thoughtful, playful and, yes, wonderful.
We were really impressed by Charlotte's organisation and preparation. Everything was laid out for us in an information book. The house is lovely and our en-suite bedroom was beautiful. Poppy and Zara are delightful, affectionate, well behaved dogs who were very easy to cater for and look after. There are lovely walks nearby and we also took them to Elie beach for some R & R. It was a short sit, but we loved it. The East Neuk of Fife is gorgeous and there are some lovely restaurants close by. This is a great sit. Thanks for having us.
The sitting in Rachel 's house has been fantastic. She's a very kind and nice person. Oski, her little dog, is lovely. Percy is the nicest cat I' ve ever met; he's very affectionate and docile. And Bebe is a pretty cat, and she loves to sit in your lap. It has been very easy to take care of them; Rachel left me the written instructions. And you won't have any problem with the pack of cats because they are very quiet. I couldn't have asked for a best place to have my first sitting. Thank you, Rachel, for those days of peace, relax, silence... and fresh orange juice.
We had such a good time house sitting for Karolina and William. They were so welcoming, generous and helpful. Tyga and Layla are delightful and Bamberg is a beautiful place to stay. We loved it so much!
I had a great time caring for Baxter who has a great personality. He was happy to show me his favourite sniffing spots around the Heights area and Buffalo Bayou which is full of early Houston history. Kara's Welcome Guide had all I needed to know to keep Baxter happy and navigate the apartment complex which is lovely and modern. Plenty of great eateries and shops nearby with easy access to the downtown area. I look forward to spending more time with Baxter and having him show me his favourite toys again. Kara was easy to communicate with and understanding when my arrival time was unexpectedly delayed. I really appreciated the snacks and essentials as well as the information and guides about Houston. More snuggles and tummy rubs to come, yay!
What a great treat to spend a long weekend in the mountains and in such a famous town, with seasonal hiker activity. It was a perfect getaway to get a different taste of homesteading living. The sit included care of the animals each so special and fun. Tody is a great dog who wants to be close, and the cats were really sweet and cuddly. Having fresh eggs from the chickens was great, and I even got to enjoy some garden-fresh treats for strawberry season, and leafy greens. If you like to hike and get exercise - and enjoy amazing mountain views, this is the sit for you. The homeowners explained everything in detail and were gracious and easy to communicate with.
