We had the pleasure to take care of Patti and Pepper for about a week. They both have very interesting characters which differ from each other. While it took some time for Pepper to get warm with us, Patti gifted us with trust straight from the beginning. During our time, Patti needed some medicine which turned out to be a challenge sometimes as she's a very fast learner. However, we managed it with some tricks 🤭 Also I've never seen a cat that eats so fast, other than Pepper, who was very slow and picky. So we needed to keep an eye on that to make sure Patti is not stealing her food ;-). Guido and Henriette are wonderful and kind pet parents. They even invited us to come the day before to get to know each other and the cats and prepared delicious food for us.
We had a great time housesitting for Fiona and Brian. They have a beautiful house in a nice and private location which was great for daily walks in the national park. Bella is very cute, loving and easy to take care of, and the chickens were very friendly! We loved the aquarium, the coral is really beautiful and the fish are fascinating. Fiona left clear instructions for all the animals care which was very helpful. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time housesitting here and would love to come again!
Neige and Surly are great little dogs. They are sweet. They are very obedient when they want to go outside. They are puppy mill rescues so they have lots of accidents, but they are very nice dogs. The house is beautiful and Dave is very, very nice. Highly recommend.

We have a couple dogs who don’t always play well with others. So when I found this place that DOESN’T do group play and has indoor/outdoor kennels so the house hippos can go out and lay in sun as much as they’d like, I was so excited! We brought two dogs and while they were too big to share a kennel, they made sure to let them have play time together and have kennels next to each other to allow them to be more comfortable. We got daily updates and pictures over text which was so great. It was nice to see our babies so happy and well loved and taken care of. The people who work there truly love the pets as if they were their own. The booking process was easy and they made sure they got all their meds. I will definitely be bringing the dogs back.
This has been by far the best boarding experience we’ve had for our dog Ivy! We have boarded her in San Diego, Scottsdale and Las Vegas and while those were still positive experiences, Pet BnD raised the bar. The daily pupdates (without having to ask) with pictures was so thoughtful and nice to receive while being away! I dropped my dog off two days ago and I already have at least 20+ pictures of her having the time of her life. Her body language and expressions are showing pure happiness. I’ve never been to a boarding place this attentive and reasonably affordable. At petsmart it was wayyyy more expensive for the same amount of days and I had to pay for play time. At this place she gets 3 free OUTDOOR play times a day. I am beyond satisfied.

This was the first time our sweet Mari stayed here. The staff were so friendly, caring and knowledgeable. The kennels were clean & spacious. Mari received top notch care with lots of love and playtime. What really impressed us were the photos they sent of her twice a day. They made our separation much easier. I've brought my dog here a total of three times and she's stayed around 5 nights each visit. Very well taken care of space along with the people who work here are very organized. Highly recommend boarding your pet here!! This was my first time boarding my dog and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The Pet BnD staff were extremely caring and attentive. They did everything they could to make my pup comfortable—including keeping her in one of the offices since I told them she’s afraid of other dogs. My dog is a 6 lb Pomeranian, and when considering boarding I was worried about her being in a group play environment with larger dogs, so I was super happy to hear Pet BnD doesn’t put the dogs in group play but rather individual playtime with the staff. The staff texted us photos and updates regularly so we could see how our little girl was doing, and she looked like she was having a blast. I’m a total nervous Nellie and a helicopter dog-parent, but I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with the staff at Pet BnD—I could tell she’d be well taken care of!! Thanks so much!!
SO thrilled to have found "our" boarding place! We just picked our dog up from his first stay here and I can tell he had a great time! All the staff is so incredible, you can tell they really care about animals and ensuring you have a great stay with them! I love how the boarding had indoor/outdoor runs, they let you custom pick a daily treat and there are tons of activities you can add onto your stay. I want to thank everyone of the staff members here for such a wonderful job of looking after my Lola. My 7yr old English bulldog stayed 6 nights while I was out of town and she became ill the day after I dropped her off. The staff called me right away to tell me she had peed blood and they pulled her out of daycare immediately. They helped me coordinate getting her to the vet within the hour. Lola had several tests run and it was confirmed she had a bad uti. Upon her return, she was lavished in love and extra care as they made sure she was comfortable and had her medicine. I checked on her frequently and they were happy to update me. They always knew how she was so I was confident she was being attended to. Because she was unable to participate in daycare, she was treated to walks as much as she could tolerate. She was lethargic and I could not wait to get home. When I picked her up she looked beautiful as they gave her a “gentle” oatmeal bath. I am overwhelmed with gratefulness at the care and consideration they showed my girl and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend them for stays and for grooming. Although my girl got sick it is a blessing I chose k9 country club in the north valley because they were quick to take action and attentive to her care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
The staff are really nice people and they always take really good care of our cat. We like the facilities and the feeling that our pet is safe at all times. Cannot express enough how much our dogs love Canine Country Club. They are always so excited to go inside and when they are returned to us they are happy and exhausted from all the play time. The staff takes such good care of them. You can tell they enjoy their jobs. The rates for boarding are very reasonable. Even after we have moved away from the area, we still consider making the drive here to board them on an extended trip.
Do not send your cat here! My cat stayed here for 2 days. Upon arrival, the staff were extremely rude. They did not even look up at me or speak to me. Eventually, they talked to me without looking up from their computers. My cat dis not receive the services I paid for. When picking up, the staff members were extremely rude again and count not answer my questions about how my cat did. They might be different with dogs, but I wouldn’t count on it. I was really disappointed with how they treated me and my pet.
I am very pleased with the pet boarding service at this facility. Recently I had to board my two dogs for over a week, and this would be their first time boarding anywhere. I was very nervous to how they react and more importantly if they would be cared for. So, I booked a luxury casita for them, with daily half day play. With the luxury casita there is a webcam option, so I could check up on my dogs whenever I pleased. Not a moment during their stay were they under-cared for or showing signs of mistreatment. I have full trust and knowledge that this place truly cares for your pet, and makes them their first priority, as their motto says. Would 100% recommend this place, and if my dogs ever need to be boarded again, this place will be my first choice! Thank you so much for your kind staff and service! P.s. After the stay, they upload a “paw-gress” report of how your pet did and various photos taken during the stay. That is what the photos attached are.
The staff was very accommodating and you could tell they loved their jobs. Right there to answer all of my questions for a first timer pup who had only really stayed in a kennel one time in his entire 12 yrs of life. He got good reports for his behavior from the staff and was said to have enjoyed the fun adventure walks they did with him during the day. Our dog seemed very happy and in good spirits when we came to pick him up. He showed no signs of stress and had eaten all of his food and treats that we left for him. We feel very comfortable putting him there again if we need to fly out of ABQ on a future travel adventure.
My dog has been staying at the Canine Country Club, North Valley location in Albuquerque NM for years. Whenever I travel or are out of town, this is her place. She is very comfortable and safe staying here. The staff is professional and friendly. My dog loves it here. I highly recommend this location for your pets safe stay.
This place is great so far . I'm new to the place. On the second day I noticed as I checked in through the web cams that there were 2 dogs mounting my dog all day. Never leaving him alone. I told the staff and they moved on it right away. Now my dog is so excited to go. This tells me he is happy there . Thank you to the staff for helping my dog's experience there be a good one. Everybody I have met there is so friendly . Such a great place to leave my boy while I'm at work.
We have only had excellent experiences here. They helped us out when another doggy daycare left us high and dry, very last minute. My dogs can be…a lot, to say the least and canine country club seems to be able to handle this without a problem. My dogs always come home happy and tired from playing. I enjoy getting daily pictures of them and their pawgress reports. We had one incident where they accidentally fed the dogs too much, but they made up for it by comping a night the next time they stayed.
(the review i left when i quit was removed) Workers here only end up hating themselves the longer they work there, the owners are inappropriate and shouldn’t be allowed over control over anyone. I worked here about a year and loved my co-workers who universally cared about the dogs while hating the owners who obviously didn’t care about us or them. Being stressed and depressed when working with dogs doesn't sound like it would be easy. But the owners of this place manage to make you dread going to a job filled with animals we love.
It’s true. I’m one of “those people”. Maybe you are too. The kind who thinks their dog is family and you can’t just leave them with anyone? I have used several kennels in the Albuquerque area. This is the only one I use now. The staff is SO CARING. If you can’t bring your fur kid with you, rest assured you will find a safe, compassionate environment at K9 Resorts.
Amazing place! My puppy Harley loves going and the girls up front are always so nice. Great place to take my puppy to burn off some of that energy! They even dressed her up for Halloween :)
My dog always loves daycare there. The staff is wonderful and they all really love dogs. He comes home tired and happy from a day of fun play.
Took my dog, Gunny, there to try out daycare and it went amazing. This will now be my go to boarding facility. I picked up my dog and felt reassured he was in good hands. Alex helped me when I picked him up and she was so friendly and I could tell she had a love for dogs which was also reassuring. Will definitely be back and I would recommend here.
We have taken Luna (our Boxer) to K9 since the first week they opened. She only goes when we have a day of conflicts and she would have to be alone for more than a few hours. She gets excited when we pull in the parking lot. As a boxer, plays the whole day and never slows down. I pick her up and she’s ready to eat something and get some sleep. She has always been well taken care of by the staff there.
My sweet & happy 5.5 yrs neutered male Shih tzu was here for his Evaluation appt prior to an upcoming boarding for a 3 day stay at K9. He is having Private play because he has a bad left ACL issue. The staff was kind and took good care of our loving pet.
The staff is very friendly. The facilities are always clean. I know my dog is safe at k9 resorts which I didn't feel about other doggy daycares in the city. They are communicative if something comes up. They are caring with my dog even though he has some issues due to being a rescue.
We were in Albuquerque for the Balloon Fiesta and knew we would be away from our dog for many hours a day. We set up an appointment for an evaluation to be sure she would be happy there, then they made an exception allowing her to stay that night as well as two more. She had such a great time at doggie daycare and slept well through the nights. The kind, friendly staff even gave her a bath before we picked her up. We would not hesitate to recommend this clean, well-run facility to anyone.

Hideyo is a consummate professional! I loved that she had a consultation appointment to thoroughly understand my cat's routine. I knew it was a match when my cat, who is very cautious, came out of hiding to meet her. She was very detail oriented, which eased my fears of having my cat get to know a new person. Every day she would send me updates with pictures. Cannot thank her enough for helping my cat and family! Will use her services and gifts in the future! :)
I had a good experience with Hideyo sitting my two cats. She is very experienced, so I felt confident leaving them in her care. She gave lots of tips to prep for our trip to make sure the cats would be safe in our absence. She sent photos and updates daily so we could keep track of how they were doing. We will happily have her sit our pets again.

I can't recommend Hideyo enough! I was really nervous about leaving my two dogs, but at our first meeting she put my mind at ease. She took the time to build trust with my more anxious pup, and it was clear that both of my dogs adored her. When my travel plans changed unexpectedly, she was incredibly accommodating and made extra visits without hesitation. Hideyo does a great job with our 3 cats that have very different needs and personalities. She's able to manage them all and sends us regular updates and photos. We recently had a travel emergency and Hideyo was able to come over and make sure everything was good at home. We always appreciate her attention to detail and quick responses.
Hideyo runs an outstanding pet sitting business. She is one-hundred-percent responsive, responsible, organized, and trustworthy, and most importantly, she clearly loves the pets she cares for, as do her associates. I do not travel much because I do not like to leave my fur babies behind, well Hideyo and her company solved that. I feel very comfortable leaving them in the care of Wags tp Whiskers. They send me a picture each day. She is able to get my anti-social cats to come out from under the bed and greet her!!!!! Hideyo is one of the sweetest humans I have ever met. I feel very very comfortable recommending her and her company.
We went out of town for 5 days and Hideyo visited our cat, Paul, twice a day. She also visited once in advance to meet him and see where everything was. We got regular updates with lots of photos to see that Paul was doing well. We'll definitely be asking Hideyo to watch him again the next time we're out! He was clearly happy and well-cared for when we got home.

I've used Fuzzy Friends service for 3 long vacations and they were great! I feel assured that my dogs and cat are being taken care of, in our own home, and by loving caregivers. I have 3 dogs and a cat, and one of my dogs requires 3 medications, which was no problem. Deborah and Jessica came to my house for a meet and greet and to go over everything before my first trip. Every day I would get morning and night reports with photos, which was great! I highly recommend this service. Love 'em :)

Fuzzy Friends Pet Sitters (Deb and Z) cared twice a day for our cat family, as well as our outside wildlife family, and our home, over Memorial Day weekend. They were very conscientious and took great care of us. We really appreciated their stellar communication with us after every visit through their Time to Pet app. We were able to keep up two-way communication after every visit and they sent us notes and pics of our cats. Our pet sitter, Ashlyn, was amazing! She was prompt and gave a full report for each visit. She was extremely attentive to details and made certain to let us know if she had any concerns. She even put out our trash can and put it away without even being asked to do so. We are so thankful for Fuzzy Friends and their wonderful staff!
I take my German Shepherd to Camp Bow Wow at least 3 - 4 times per week for the full day. This gives him a fun day of playing with his other doggie pals along with plenty of exercise as well. When I tell him we're going to Camp he gets all excited, starts running in circles, and jumps into the car. The staff at Camp are extremely kind and helpful to him, and they're extremely nice as well. Great company, great treat for my Shepherd!
Mookie loved staying at Camp Bow Wow and can’t wait to go back to see his friends. He had a great time playing with his new friends and also loved his cuddle session. The staff was friendly and welcoming and made it comfortable to leave him for a few days.

Sometimes I think Chilli loves to come to camp more than she loves being at home! Taking her to daycare is the best part of my mornings just because of how excited she gets. She always runs to the door. The counselors (staff) are simply the best, not just to Chilli, but to me too! They're always so friendly and flexible. And their grooming skills? Lord knows I can't get a 55lb pit to sit still for a bath at home! Miracle workers. I especially enjoy all the pictures they send out (many of them free), and it puts me at ease knowing there are such wonderful people to care for my girl, especially when I board her. I really can't thank you all enough!

Camp bow wow is great! All the staff there is super friendly and my dog loves to go to camp bow wow every week. We boarded her for four days and she had a blast and I was able to watch her through the cameras. Made our vacation great knowing she was safe and happy.
Our five month Aussie doodle loves going to Camp Bow Wow and we love how it runs out his puppy energy. The picture below is him immediately after getting in the car from a day of doggy day care there. The staff cares for him really well and I love being able to watch him on the cameras as he plays with the other pups. It is a reasonably priced, especially if you buy a package, and there are lots of fun extra services offered. It is a win-win.
Sally and her staff are all just wonderful! We really appreciated the “Interview” process, no other place has ever done it, And you can watch it on the monitor in the lobby to see just how your dogs get along with others! And you can also view them online while they’re in the community indoor/outdoor area’s! Our girls just love it here😊
Jasper had such a fun time at daycare! He was thoroughly exhausted, and even got into the pool during play time! It was so fun seeing him play on the cameras, staff was super nice, and they offer great packages with added savings in the long run!
All of the staff at Camp Bow Wow treat my pup like their own! It is so nice to find a daycare where I do not have to worry one bit once I drop my dog off. My dog always comes home tired and happy.

Paws in Action has been walking my dog Charlie three times a week for over a year. Yaros and her employees treat Charlie with love and attention. After limiting myself to work, home, and shopping during the pandemic, I finally had compelling reasons to travel out of state, namely visiting long distance family and my daughter's bridal preparation in NYC. One thing held me back and that was who would take care of my two households composed of seven cats. They were shy and old and I didn't want to trust just anyone to care for them. Then a colleague told me about Paws in Action and how professional and wonderful they had been with his two cats. I met the young woman who would provide the sitting services at a meet & greet and she was the gentlest, kindest young person I had met in a long time. We lined up schedules, costs, and my trip was a go. I was nervous the first day I was gone but my fears were soon dispelled when I saw how well my sitter took care of all 7 of my kitties. She sent me daily photos of the cats and their food, and added very sweet text messages to the mix. I can't applaud Paws in Action enough. They were so professional and yet warm and caring about my needs as well as the animals. I highly recommend them to anyone with trepidation about leaving their pets with strangers. I will use them for all the trips I have planned and encourage my friends and colleagues to use them. What a blessing they were to me. This dog walking company is amazing. The walkers are so sweet and give you details as they walk your pet so you're left feeling very comfortable and at ease. I am a nurse and with all the COVID craziness going on would have last minute changes in my schedule, they were more than accommodating and made me feel like my pet was a priority. I unfortunately had to move and they even gave my little pup a homemade goodbye treat. If you're looking for a dedicated walker in the ABQ area, I HIGHLY recommend them!
So grateful for paws in action! We recently adopted a sweet older dog after she showed up on our doorstep. She’s a wonderful dog but is understandably anxious from being previously abandoned. We were stressed when we had to go out of town a few months after we adopted her because we knew she wouldn’t do well in a traditional kennel setting. Luckily, we found paws in action. Jade was fantastic with her! She took the time to get to know our dog and her quirks and was reliable and very communicative with us. We were so grateful and relieved to have such wonderful support. Yaroz was also very communicative and helped us come up with a great plan for our pup’s unique needs. Thank you all so much!
Paws in Action did a wonderful job for us. They were able to get us in on short notice. They provided continued communication throughout the process, including our dog sitter who gave regular updates and pictures while we were gone. I would definitely use their service again.
This is the second time we've used Paws In Action. Everything went smoothly, and our dog walker, Christine, was very comfortable walking our two big malamutts. We got reports every time on how they did, and it made the trip very easy.
Words can’t describe how amazing this place is for my dog. I am a first time dog owner and I really wanted to get him socialized with other dogs and people. I am forever glad that this place showed up on my google search. The workers are so kind and full of joy every time I bring my dog in. They take care of him and reassure me that he’ll do fine. My boy comes back home happy from playing with other dogs and meeting new hoomans! Whenever he gets home he takes a long nap due to his exciting day. I take him everyday now and it has been the best decision ever! Big thank you to the workers who take care of my dog and show him kindness. He’s my first dog ever and I’m glad he has a fun place to go to everyday. Plus he loves the snacks they give him! xD
I couldn’t be more pleased! The staff is very helpful and nice. I got daily pictures of my dog, they took care of her medicine, took her for an extra walk and when they brought my dog at pick up her tail was wagging before she even saw me. This location took excellent care of my dog and it’s the only place I would consider in the future.
Had a great experience while boarding our two dogs and cat for the first time. I feel like they were super professional and thorough with our planning and reservations process, intake, giving us reports on how the pets were doing, accommodating a couple last minute changes of plans, and thorough grooming. The kennels look really clean and the cat area was great. Will definitely board with them again.
They take great care of my Cat Morticia and are always professional and polite. Highly recommend anyone, who truly loves their best friend in fur form. Like family. If they stay here, they are in Good hands.
Everyone is so friendly and kind! They took excellent care of our cat Boots and made the process very easy. Their facility is super clean and nice! They were able to accommodate us last minute and were flexible when we were able to pick up early. Rates were also very reasonable! We definitely recommend!
Took our three dogs to be boarded for a long weekend and they are happy and were well cared for the entire time. Thx again to the great staff!
Everyone was so friendly and Oliver had a great first day at day care. I appreciate their concern for his well being and safety. I also appreciated the tour of the facility before I enrolled him. Grooming fees seem comparable and the Westside location is close to home.
We absolutely love this location— we drop our big boys (100 lb German mixes) and my mom’s little guys (20 lb chihuahua mixes) here for daycare and grooming. The location is lovely and they have webcams! We love peeking in on all the dogs throughout the day. The staff have all been 10/10 wonderful and so friendly. The grooming is the best we’ve had & the boys cannot wait to zoom inside when we pull up for daycare! Really amazing experience these last few months!
My dog, Callie, loves going to daycare at the Westside CC! She is a very social pup and loves meeting and playing with her new and old friends. This has been the best decision for my sweet girl. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very efficient at their jobs. They send daily pawgress reports with photos. They have a free meet and greet trial day if you want to see how your pup does. Give them a try!
My dogs LOVE the Canine Country Club. The dogs get excited ANY time they hop in the car. The staff is always so friendly and remembers their names. One of my dogs is a bit anxious but they seem to have cracked the code on how to behave around her. Both locations are great but just due to where we live we tend to go to the Westside location more. If you ever have a time where you're going to be away or need the dogs out of the house, it's nice to have a place to take the dogs for daycare; the drop off and pickup are easy. Canine Country Club divides the dogs up into large and small pets for day care, and they'll give great snacks for a very small fee. The dogs are always exhausted after a day of playing there. Canine Country Club also sends a digital report card that tells you how your dogs did. I've attached a picture from one of those below because Nugget's smile tickles me. For longer trips, you'll want to call in advance, especially if you're planning on taking a trip at peak times. But the dogs seem happy. They'll feed your dogs, and there are options for them to have plenty of play time, snacks, and daily photo updates. Grooming services are great too. The room for cats also looks nice and mellow, if cats are your thing.
