This has been one of our best housesits! Brittany & Jordan are one of the sweetest couples we've had the pleasure of meeting. They have a great house in an awesome location - divided between quick access to the mountains, or Denver. Or if you're into hiking, there are many trails within moments from the front door ... we took a 7 mile hike from the back yard through the surrounding hills and ran into a heard of bull elk! One of the best hikes we took while there. And we fell in love with Kulu & Mala! It was hard to leave them and they will be missed. Very affectionate, playful, and smart dogs! If housesitting, must love big dogs ... and we do ... as these two will bring their playfulness right to your lap. But they are also very responsive if you tell them you need alone time. They play great together and we never had Any Issue with them. We would definitely return to house sit again!
Vanessa's place was lovely and she made us very welcome. The pets were great and we look forward to returning.
What a joy of few days,! We were blessed with a stay in an incredibly pleasant, well maintained 600 years-old family home and wihtout a doubt; such delightful, well behaved and charming little companions to care for. Easy, prompt and effective communication made this sitting a 'we must return' to visit soon, as as often as possible. We enjoyed every second of it. Thank you William for your kind hospitality.
TLDR: We loved every minute of our pet sit with Winnie! :) Winnie is probably the sweetest and cutest dog we've ever met. She enjoys human company and will never leave your side. She loves cuddling, sitting on your lap, following you around the house, going with you to the shop or sights, and sleeping in your bed. We loved her company a lot and never left her alone. We even went on two longer trips with her (to Turin and Lake Como) and it was easy as she is easy to carry and well-behaved - just bring her sling and plenty of water. Winnie's routine is not complicated at all - we fed her twice a day, went on longer walks two times a day, let her out in the yard in between, and put a special gel on her teeth before bedtime. Shannon and Mike are great hosts and we enjoyed our time together as well. They shared lots of great tips about the area and were always in touch with us. Hearing their stories and learning more about their trips was inspiring! The guest bedroom and bathroom are on the separate floor and are very cozy. It was also not hot inside during the summer which is great. Montabone is a nice small city with two restaurants, a market, churches, and a winery. We explored almost all nearby cities and came to the conclusion that it is the most charming one. :) The area offers many activities, from a winery tour and hiking to a day trip to the sea or some bigger city (with Winnie ofc!). Shannon and Mike, thank you for the sit, we were happy to get to know you and had a great time - hope Winnie had a great time with us as well. We already miss Winnie a lot! ❤️
We have had a wonderfull long weekend in Haarlem! Skyla really is such a sweet dog. In the beginning she was a bit shy but after we won her trust, which was quite quickly, she seemed to enjoy our company as much as we enjoyed hers. We watched tv together, played together and had lovely walks in the forest nearby which is very beautifull. Skyla is really good and playfull with other dogs aswell, which makes walking her a real treat. One of the sweetest and funniest dogs we have met! Kina was just minding her own cat-business all weekend. She had lots of catstuff to do 🤣 We just made sure she had food and cleaned the catlitter. Communication with David was very prompt and clear. We had a videocall before the sit to walk trough everything. During the sit we could also always message him when we had questions or to share some photo’s. :) He also emailed and printed an house guide for us which was really helpfull. Thanks for trusting us with Skyla and Kina! We really enjoyed our time in Haarlem.
Katie and the kitties were fabulous to sit for!! The cats were adorable and easy to care for, Katie clearly and promptly communicated, and answered any random questions we had. Their home was beautiful, clean and well organized, and we felt very welcomed. Would highly recommend this sit!!
