I had such a wonderful weekend with Daisy and Helmut - just the sweetest dogs. Daisy sleeps a lot, but loves a belly rub and gets very excited at meal times. Helmut is a total snuggle bug and loves to sit and sleep with you. Hannah was a communicative and generous host with a nice home in a great location. I can totally recommend sitting for this family and would definitely go back too.
Had a lovely housesit in London with four easy-to-care-for cats. Cosy home, very nice hosts and a super-comfy bed! I enjoyed my stay very much. Thank you!
Jason and I were fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to house sit for Rita and David in their beautiful home and care for Milly and Chewie. We were given a comprehensive welcome guide prior to the sit and on arrival Rita and David were welcoming and friendly and showed us around their home. They made sure we were comfortable with the technology in the home and how it worked and were happy to answer any questions, even providing a lovely morning tea. Communication was easy before, during and after the sit. Their home is gorgeous and in such a beautiful location, it was like being at a 5 star resort. The stay was only made better by the adorable Milly and Chewie, they are such funny little souls that make you laugh with their antics. They are very well behaved and love their cuddles and spending time with you. They love a walk and get so excited when you get their leads. Chewie also loves to have a swim given the opportunity. They definitely steal a piece of your heart. For any future sitters considering sitting for Rita and David don’t hesitate, you won't be disappointed. Jason and I thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to be given the opportunity to sit for them again should the opportunity arise.
Percy and India were such a joy to spend time with! They're so fun and affectionate that we totally fell in love with them. Separation anxiety isn't something we'd previously dealt with, but Percy turned out to be very easy to care for. He and India went everywhere around Canmore/Banff with us and the couple of times we had to leave them alone he did great. We also spent a couple of days around Tex (while Julie and Jason were home) and adored him too. The house is beautiful and spacious, and has everything you could need. Our bed was super comfortable (we especially loved sharing it with the pups). We appreciated being able to use their car as well, especially since there's so much to explore around Canmore! It's such a beautiful area with so many mountains, lakes, rivers, and incredible wildlife. We could spend years there and still discover something new every day. Canmore itself is pretty and feels like a great community. Julie and Jason are a fantastic couple and made us feel at home immediately. They're lively, easygoing, and interesting to chat with, and we love their dog training philosophy! House sitting for them was just a great experience in every way, and we were sad to leave Percy and India. We highly recommend this sit and would return in a heartbeat!
Murphy is such a good friend. He’s the best company and behaves wonderfully on walks. He can be trusted off the lead and is great when travelling by car or bus. He was happy to join us for a meal out or snuggle up on the sofa on a cosy evening. He absolutely loved cuddling just as much as we did. He’d rest his head on us, making it hard to turn off the TV and go to bed. Murphy enjoys hanging around in the front garden and is always happy when someone says hi or comes in to play fetch. Everyone loves Murphy—I mean, who wouldn’t? Fo and Tom were welcoming and friendly from the start. We shared meals on our first and last days and had a really nice time together. They were responsive, made sure we had everything we needed, and gave us plenty of tips on the best nearby spots. Their house is lovely, spacious, and comfortable. They live in a beautiful part of the city—very quiet and residential but with plenty of shops and green areas, and just a 30-minute walk into town. We'd highly recommend this sit and would return in a heartbeat to take care of Murphy. Thanks, Fo and Tom, for sharing your boy and your home with us. 🙂 While we're here in Edinburgh, we’ll pop into Murph’s garden to give him a hug and play fetch with him, so see you around!
I had a good time in San Leandro. Rachel was a good host and the animals are great too.
