Tanja was very welcoming and friendly, and was available to answer any questions I had. Lucy was a pleasure to take care of. She’s very cuddly and affectionate and would often come and sleep with me. The house itself was very comfortable and well-provisioned. However, sitters should be aware that it’s quite far from the center of Berlin (about 45-60 minutes by public transport), so it may not be suited for people who want to spend a lot of time in the city. If however, you are happy to be in a more suburban environment, then I would definitely recommend Tanja’s place.

Ringstead is an interesting place, with good amenities, lovely walks & houses from each decade on nearly every street. The local lakes are a short walk where you’ll find an oasis of calm and where you can really enjoy seeing Benson in his element. He certainly enjoys a muddy puddle or two! Anna & Tom's home is clean, tidy spacious and beautifully decorated with all the facilities you need. Stanwick Lakes are a short car ride away, and clearly a place that Benson loves. Benson is great in the car & definitely appreciates the window being cracked open so he can enjoy the smells. When we pulled up to the Lakes, Benson was palpable with excitement. Benson provided us with lots of cuddles & laughs. We enjoyed every minute with him, and he was sure to demonstrate the definition of "lap dog" daily. Benson always cooperated with de-mudding, although he made it clear it wasn't his favourite part of going for a walk. Patsy was very quick to warm up to us (without bribery) and would frequently join us in the evening for snuggles & first thing in the morning for a bit of play. Edi, on the other hand, was more suspicious of our presence & needed a little of coaxing - Dreamies definitely helped to convince her. By our final night Peter had received Edi's full approval as demonstrated by sleeping on his head!
Susan has a comfy apartment in Albany close a number of cool bars, restaurants and shops on Solano and San Pablo streets. Susan is a detailed communicator and very responsive to questions. Fern and Teddy are affectionate and easy to care for. I would sit again if the opportunity arises.
Amazing home and Josie is a beautiful sweetheart who’s quiet, friendly, and very easy to care for and love! Deborah left detailed written instructions in addition to quick responses to any questions I had over text.
This is s fabulous home to house sit. Claire and Mike are generous, entertaining hosts, and their home is truly unique. Acer and Truffle are very enthusiastic and well behaved dogs and we enjoyed there company and walks in the gorgeous surrounding countryside. We would love to stay again!
