Charlie was a good Housesitter and was pleased with the care provided for our dog Cookie. She kept in touch with us and sent photos of her lovely big walks with Cookie and our doggie seemed very happy on our return. She was also reliable in handing some keys to an associate of ours when we couldn’t be there to do it ourselves. We would definitely recommend Charlie as a zeewoi! :)
I recommend finding time before your sit to go hike with Steve. We hiked to Buffalo Park and scouted Quinn and Rosie‘s favorite trails for me to use while he was away. Steve really put me at ease when I told him I was a little hesitant to walk Quinn and Rosie without a leash. We hiked on a trail that both dogs were very very very, familiar with navigated with ease! Steve walked me through Quinn and Rosie’s typical day, they are so easy! Quinn will remind you when it’s time for a command by staring at you intently. It’s true. 😂 Quinn Tips: Drank massive amounts of water, leave extra if you will be gone for lunch. Rosie likes to hog attention, make sure to seek out Quinn. Encourage him to share the couch with you. Such a gentleman! Loves tug-o-war, great bicep work out! Just wants to lay by you or play. I kept him busy and accomplished. 😊 Expert beggar. Rosie Tips: Rosie wants a lot of love, she’s a rescue. She is in heaven if she can lay next to you on the couch or on the bed. Invite Quinn onto the bed after Rosie is on or she may go sulk. 😂 Can give or take carrots. They both love to explore, run, and chase wildlife but will return. I wore a bike bell on my backpack during our hikes so they could locate me. These two pups are exceptional and hiking with them was an absolute joy because they are incredible with other dogs and kids.
Just back from a delightful few days at Greenman cottage in the Chilterns, looking after dogs Meg and Lola along with the chickens and Molly the invisible cat. Elaine and Michelle gave us a warm welcome, helpful tour and a generous starter pack, including homemade apple juice and cider. The cottage is lovely, with a beautiful garden.Lots to do in the area, easy local walks and everything you need for a restful few days.
Thank you to Christine and Andrew for allowing us to have generous use of their well appointed house. Their pets Coco and Ember are an absolute dream. Coco actually puts herself to bed each night around 8.30pm ( depending of course what’s on the tv). We had a terrific time in the Clare Valley and rate the sit as one out of the box.
I felt really welcome and comfortable on this sit. Communication with Robbie was great and all instructions for the care of lovely Bubbles was clear. She really is a delight and such a lovely chatty girl. This beautiful old house stands alone in acres of land and the peace and quiet was extraordinary. I stayed in the attached holiday cottage with access to the main house which was perfect. I would definitely return to sit again!
I loved looking after Tilley - she’s an exceptionally good dog. Tilley is well-trained and really friendly. Ludlow is a lovely, friendly town and Karen and Dan have a beautiful, comfortable home and a great garden to hang out in. I’d highly recommend this sit. Karen and Dan were super to deal with, and I’d love to come back!
David was very kind and hospitable! Bourbon is the sweetest dog and loves to play. He's got a lot of energy like a puppy and sweet Milky is just a gentle little old lady, haha. I loved both dogs and David keeps a very clean home. Would gladly sit for him anytime!
