Sue and Dom’s ferry crossing was delayed so we actually spent 3 nights with them before they left for Scotland. Dom cooked us wonderful food and we got to explore the local doggie walks. We had two sets of snowfalls in our sit but were warm and cozy in the house with fire places and pellet heaters. The dogs were great fun to look after. Shuna, is the old lady who likes burying stones on her walk and even at her age keeps up. Isla loves digging, and one has to keep an eye on her as she might dash off after a squirrel or deer. Ever energetic Angus is such a character. A big, lovable dog with boundless energy and enthusiasm. We loved doing this sit and exploring the stunning forests and other places of interest. At the end, Dom was a star and drove us into France to then catch a train to our next spot. We hope to see you both again along with your lovable doggies.
Anne and Chris are the most wonderful pet parents. I had the pleasure of caring for their cats, E.T. and Cleo, for a week and it was an absolute delight. E.T. and Cleo have such unique and endearing personalities - they are truly special animals. The house is absolutely stunning, like something out of a fairytale. I felt like I was staying in a castle, it's that beautiful and well-kept. Anne and Chris were so warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The conversations we had were lovely, and I'll certainly never forget them. I feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to care for E.T. and Cleo, and to have met Anne and Chris. They are truly wonderful people, and I'm grateful for the experience. Anne is just out of this world - she has a heart of gold and makes you feel special. I can't recommend them highly enough. We loved our house sit for Minnie and Mickey. They were so sweet and lovable, and they have big personalities! We were able to meet Amanda before, so she could walk us through their routine. Amanda had great communication leading up and throughout the sit. Highly recommend :) We would be happy to house sit for Minnie and Mickey again!
My husband and I had such a great time housesitting for Lindsey! Lindsey communicated with us everything we needed to know and was quick to respond to any random questions we had for her. Ruthie was SUCH a good girl. She was very easy to walk, play with and spend time with. We are truly grateful for the opportunity we had to house and dog sit for Lindsey.
Tatjana and Brittany are super friendly and made us feel welcomed immediately. They have such a beautiful and well equiped home in a very nice neighborhood. It‘s also really easy to get to the center of Seattle. We took care of Parcheezy for a couple of days and she liked to be where we were. She is a cuddly old cat that enjoys attention. We felt right at home and would definetely recommend this sit and come back any time.
Sherry is a very kind and helpful owner. Organizing the process and communicating was quick and easy. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly, just like Sherry's home, which provides all the comforts you could need. Zorro, my favorite cat, was always purring and snuggling under my hand. Lucky is an adorable, calm little dog who loves to lie in your lap. Most of the time, both of them would rest on me while I watched movies. I only saw Tiger, the second cat, once, he lives a hunter's life. I really enjoyed taking care of them. Thank you again for the opportunity!
