Craig
This was a great sit. Craig and Angela were very welcoming, and Amira is a delight. Sippy Downs is a lovely suburb and there are plenty of walks past creeks, bush and lakes in all directions from Craig's house.

Amira was overly friendly at first, but soon settled down to a calm routine and showed she was capable of walking without pulling and respecting our space. She loves company, but was also fine with our going out. She was usually fast asleep on our return!

Overall, I strongly recommend this sit. It's a beautiful location, a beautiful Labrador and warm hosts.

Michelle
Michelle is so sweet and communicative and accommodating. When I wasn’t sure whether I would be in SF in time to collect keys myself, she was more than willing to allow a friend to meet her in my place. Clem is a sweetheart. She might need some time to adjust to new people- naturally- but we really got to bond and she slept with me and even cuddled up on my chest! She will make it clear when she wants attention or play time. You just have to pay attention and read her. I would be happy to stay with Clementine again, any time! I feel like we became really good pals :) thanks, Michelle & Clem!

The house was very comfortable and in a quiet cul-de-sac.
There was a bus stop at the end of the road but it went every hour into town. There was a 15 min walk to catch the bus into town so the location wasn't great for public transport.
However, I enjoyed driving to Cramond and South Queensferry where I enjoyed walking and visiting the cafes and restaurants.
The two cats, Toby and Ollie are very easy to look after.

Carin
We had the privilege of meeting Carin and Luke before our stay and were so excited to start our TrustedHousesitters journey at such a wonderful property.
The landscape is amazing and it was such a bonus to enjoy the inground pool with a lovely stretch of good weather. The house provided every amenity imaginable; the care Luke and Carin have put into their home and property is very visible.
We enjoyed coffee each morning on the front porch taking in breathtaking views of Camels Hump. We loved our daily walk to feed the sheep along with Stout, Nox and Skiperdee. There is a unique kind of peacefulness that comes with the sounds of sheep.
Our regular visits to the pond included kayaking, berry picking and doggy swim time. We loved meeting the neighbors, their kids and dogs too. They, along with the mailman and garbage man, love the friendly greetings from Stout, Nox and Skiperdee.
We could not have asked for a better first time sit and Luke and Carin were super communicative whenever there was a question.
Even though we are Vermonters we are so glad to have found a special retreat right here in our backyard.

Oscar and Milo are both wonderful. Oscar is more curious and outgoing and will approach you right off. Milo is more timid at the start but once he has made up his mind about you he is also very warm and friendly. Both can be vocal. They love to play and will do so early in the morning disrupting all of the rugs, their toys and even some furniture.
The house is one of the older ones in town. It’s very clean, well kept and easy to find. It’s walking distance to downtown and the water.
Milo and Oscar were easy to care for and so was the house.
Hailey just installed a new WiFi hotspot. It worked pretty well for what I needed, although the weather did impact it one day. Hailey communicated with me before, during and after the sit quickly and provided the information I needed.
I would definitely sit for her and the boys again.

Bo
We loved this stay! Gus is an absolute gem- he's very friendly, very well-behaved, and excellent company. We didn't get a chance to meet Bo and Caity in person but they were kind and communicative and generous throughout. The home is LOVELY! It's in a great part of Berkeley and as cosy as can be. Highly recommended!
