Lovely family. Stellar and Hiro were so sweet. Brenda and Phil are kind and generous hosts. Great location to explore NE Maine.
Anna and Rick were very well organised. Anna took time to show me around the house and explain Luna’s routine. Luna is a cutie and very easy to be with. She’s shy at first but warms up after a while. The house is very comfortable and clean and is in a great position to explore Bristol. Recommended!
We had a great time looking after Digby at Sue's beautiful home. She was kind enough to pick us up from the station and organise a ride for us back to the station at the end of our sit. We had a great chat upon our arrival and Digby was super sweet and a treat to look after. Would love to stay and look after Digby again!
Jeff and I had a delightful time taking care of sweet Peggy & Dave and the charming, clean, nicely-decorated home of Drew & Kelly for two weeks in early February. Drew & Kelly were so hospitable, thoughtful, engaging and welcoming. Their home and grounds are beautiful - and the views up the hill to the village of St-Paul-de-Vence are fabulous.Kelly communicated wonderfully throughout the process, provided detailed instructions on caring for their dogs, including the ‘routine’ that works quite well. She and Drew did a thorough job of acquainting us with their home and grounds. Their car was perfect for taking the dogs on their ‘river walk’ and also to use when enjoying the amazing nearby towns and villages. We are grateful to Drew & Kelly for sharing their paradise with us; and also to Peggy & Dave for the cuddles – as well as the exercise they provided on our twice-daily walks together.
This was the BEST sit! Katharine is such a lovely human, so helpful, caring, and communicative. It's quite obvious that she has a heart of gold because her pets are some of the sweetest fur babies we've ever met. Nala is a really perfect pup, she's so smart, easy, enjoyable to walk, and she loves all the cuddles. Bruce is pretty much the coolest and funniest cat ever! He was very affectionate both with us and with his pup sister Nala. We really fell in love with them and missed them immediately after we left. Katharine's apartment is a dream. So comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well appointed with everything you'd ever need for your stay. The bed is huge and we slept deeply! There was even room for Nala and Bruce to join us which we loved. And her super soft down filled sofa was incredible! Another perk is Bruce's self-cleaning litter box which we never needed to touch and the two automatic feeders for their dry food. The neighborhood.... For us, in Los Angeles, there is no better place to live. (We lived just around the corner from here for 4 years so we know) It's 100% walkable! Great coffee is 1/2 block away. The beach is 5 blocks away! The farmers' market is 5 blocks away twice a week and so is the 3rd Street Promenade. Montana Avenue where she is located is one of the best shopping streets in LA. Great restaurants, art films, clothing, gifts, home goods, groceries, and much more. Public transportation (buses and the metro) here is seamless. The weather here is basically perfect year round, that is, if you like 62-72 degrees and a marine layer coming in off the ocean overnight with clean fresh air:) We loved everything about being here and hope to come back again ASAP! Thank you Katharine, Nala, and Bruce!
Lovely hosts, dogs and home in a perfectly situated village for us as nature lovers and walkers. Easy to look after animals and the dogs are sweeties - we enjoyed walking them and introducing them to the joys of birdwatching and Wells farmers market! We hope to return and it was lovely to reconnect with Melanie who is also a fantastic Airbnb host!
